Error cloning agent

I'm deploying an Agent for OEM 10.2.0.5 by cloning an existing agent. I followed the steps in the instructions, and everything is fine until I ran the "agentca f" command to run the Setup Wizard. He starts to run and says it configures the agent. However, it just sits there since a long time and eventually throws a java.lang.OutOfMemoryException.

Someone at - he seen behavior like this before? Any ideas how to fix? Has anyone cloned successfully an agent for 10.2.0.5? Thank you

-TJ

It seems that you clone the chained officer. Try with command below.

. / runInstaller-clone - ORACLE_HOME = forceClone
ORACLE_HOME_NAME = - silent noconfig-b_
chainedInstall = false oracle.sysman.top.agent:s_installType = AGENT

and then run agentca - f.

    Hi Experts,

    I get "General error" for agent production, although I went from Datasources and also restarted the Production Server.

    Even made this yet I get general error for agent production.

    Can you please help me solve this problem...

    Hello

    As mentioned above, if you have a source of data switching, please check if all repositories are pointing to the same data source (tab under Agents).

    If so, it could be because of a different snapshot in the target instance. Go to "/ atg/epub/DeploymentAgent" in the instance (instance of the Production officer) of the target and click the Delete default_cluster_name.

    That might solve the problem.

    Thank you.

  • Severity of the error for Agent of LogFilter and rule

    Hello

    When you change the list of messages of LogFilter trap, you get to choose the severity of the error and a Message from the user for the particular match strings:

    I already know how to make the message to display in the body of the e-mail message, but how can we get the string the severity of error to be displayed in the subject line?  If I use @foglight_severity_level, it returns 1, which is the level of seriousness for the real LogFilter rule.  If I use @foglight_severity_level_name, this returns fire, which is the name of the level of seriousness for the real LogFilter rule.

    Given the ability to choose the level within the list of messages of Logfilter trap, there must be an easy way to get this as a variable to use in an e-mail subject line?

    Thank you

    Brian

    Hello everyone

    I finally managed to get this working.  I created a new Expression called error using the following code:

    def controls = checkObservationAlarms (#LogFilter_ErrorVerbose to 1ms #,)

    {the entry->

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == "WARNING") {}

    return 2;

    }

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == 'CRITICAL') {}

    return 3;

    }

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == "FATAL") {}

    return 4;

    }

    return 0;

    },

    {entry, severity-> {switch (severity)}

    case 2:

    'WARNING '.

    case 3:

    return "criticism";

    case 4:

    return "Fatal."

    by default:

    Return ' ';

    }}, @foglight_rule_id);

    If (checks.size () > 0) {}

    return checks [0] [1];

    } else {}

    Return ' ';

    }

    .. who I picked up community forums.  I also created an additional call to the UserError Expression that takes the custom error that you provide in the trap of messageliste within the agent that uses the following code:

    def controls = checkObservationAlarms (#LogFilter_ErrorVerbose to 1ms #,)

    {the entry->

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == "WARNING") {}

    return 2;

    }

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == 'CRITICAL') {}

    return 3;

    }

    If (entry.get ("Severity") == "FATAL") {}

    return 4;

    }

    return 0;

    },

    {entry, severity-> {switch (severity)}

    case 2:

    Return entry.get ("User_Message");

    case 3:

    return "" + entry.get ("User_Message") + "";

    case 4:

    return "" + entry.get ("User_Message") + "";

    by default:

    Return ' ';

    }}, @foglight_rule_id);

    If (checks.size () > 0) {}

    return checks [0] [1];

    } else {}

    Return ' ';

    }

    The most attentive of you will notice that case 2 has a different format in the box 4-3 and case in the above.

    Part of the reason for this rule takes so much time programming is that if I made a change to the rule code (for example change WARNING WARNING in the case statement of the first code), Foglight would not record the change and would rather a null value or an empty value.  Weird next workaround often worked: I would like to return to what it was originally, trigger the alarm, change to what it should be, the alarm and continue to do that until the change has been recognized by more.  For the above code, no matter how many times I changed the cases 3 and 4 to resemble the presentation of case 2, I could never make it work

    This behavior has only affected this particular rule; other custom rules that I programmed in the past have been absolutely perfect.

    My matiere2 line becomes:

    @ServerName: @Error: @UserError

    (@ServerName is set elsewhere) which gives a very nice:

    Some.Server.com: caveat: NetWorker backup failure - backup failed

    .. What is exactly what I'm looking for.

  • Error TMS agent Portal

    Hi all

    I have exactly the same problem as described in this discussion: tmspe-tms-aent-page.  If I try to connect to http://TMS/tmsagent/tmsportal (or https).  I get the error message "an error has occurred. ' Reload the page and try again.  See the attached file.

    With TMS 14.6.1 and TMSPE 1.4 installed on Windows 2008 R2 server standard edition server.

    TMS is running for a couple of months with this version very well. Recently, I've implemented CMR after conductor and new mm410v has been added to you video below. A model was created and applied to a group of users. This group has the authorization requested to the meeting of the book.

    I got the same error message when I click on the button "Edit CMR in the portal".

    If I try as http://tmsipaddress/api/v0/version suggested link I get a page not found error.

    Default Web site also has an HTTPS binding.

    I'm stuck because I am not able to solve problems more.

    Cisco TAC after webex session ask me follow up with Microsoft!

    Any suggestion or advice is welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    Ahmed

    TMSPE working before trying to add CMR, or is this a new installation?

    Java has been updated recently? TMSPE 1.4 requires Java 7 update 51, I know that's not far from the version you use, but it is worth it to try the version that offers the deployment guide.

    It could also be that Windows is missing a required service pack, see tms-agent-ui - error message.

    Hi Kenny,

    This error seems to indicate that the credentials that you specified to the master repo do not work. Either ensure that the work of connecting to the pension, or rerun the installation program and specify a set known good powers it.

    I checked the xml files and it of nothing pointing to the environment of the source, and ran autoconfig who successfully completes. can you please let me know, what file the source information is taken from?

    Thank you
    Rajiv.

    First go to the location of Apache/cfg and see the files (apps.conf, oprocmgr.conf, trusted.cof). If these files have the Instance of Source nodes entries), this error may appear.
    Temporary work around (remove entries from these source files and a bounce Apache)
    Permanent solution: update the FND_NODES table and running autoconfig, bounce Apache.

  • Error deploying Agent-

    Hi gurus,

    I am new to cloud 12 c control. I just installed 12.1.0.3 cloud control on windows 2008 r2 64-bit computer. I have install repository who on the local computer, and now I will add a 2 node clustor (oracle 11g r2) for monitoring. While adding the host and agent deployment, I get the following message is displayed:

    2013-07-16_10-44 - 26:INFO: Jsch Validation has no problem: SSH server verification failed recommendation: check the value of SSH_PORT in the D:/em/middleware/oms/oui/prov/resources/Paths.properties file. Make sure it is the same as the port on which the sshd is running on the remote host.

    Any ideas? do I need to install any component on the RAC server as well?

    Kind regards

    Guy,

    Thanks a lot for your answer. Could you please let me know

    -J' installed Cygwin on the target host. I'm a bit confused by using the account of what field I need to start the CYGWIN sshd on the target host (I want to say can I use the same domain account that I use to start on the SGD server or can I use any other account as well?)

    Kind regards

  • Error cloning/Templating Windows 2008

    I just put in place a new system and I have installed Win 2008 R2, Datacenter Edition on a cluster of ESXi 4.0 host computer.

    Before I installed VM Tools in the comments, I could clone on the model (normal clone). However, as soon as I install the VM tools, I get the error attached almost immediately after the start of the process.

    The other strange thing is that I can snapshot of the virtual machine (using the Snapshot Manager) no problem.

    I noticed other people have had problems with this in win 2003 and I played with the options of VSS in the prompt - as suggested. It doesn't seem to be errors in the event if Viewer.

    Any ideas?

    Hi, I had the same problem, and I solved it install Windows 2008 R2.

    You can try to clone the wen VM that the virtual machine is turned off and this medication would be ok.

    The problem is that the clone when the virtual machine is turned off tried to squiece the guest operating system and which do not.

    Remember that windows 2008 R2 is supported, bat is still experimental.

    Sorry my English

    Leandro.

    Hi all

      Agents installed on an Agent Manager of windows may not start. The following errors appear in the journal of FglAM:

    • Cause

      The number of ephemeral TCP ports by default is 5000. Sometimes, this number can be less if the server has too many active client connections through which ephemeral TCP ports are all used to the top and in this case no more can be allocated to a new client connection request.

    • Resolution

      Resolution

      The solution is to open the registry editor and look for the registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters and add a new entry, as shown below:

      Value name: MaxUserPort
      Value type: DWORD
      Value data: 65534

      Workaround

      Restart the Agent Manager Foglight

  • How to solve this error change Assistant? -all agents must be running and sending impulses for applications...

    I have a problem with the wizard to change and could not find a solution for it.

    When I go and you try to view the environment it is said that "all agents are running and sending impulses... before the beginning of change Assistant".

    Here are the steps I followed:

    -Configuration of the Agent EM: hubURL = http:// < localhost >: 80/PSEMHUB/hub agentport = 5283

    -Configuration of the Hub EM: hubURL = http:// < localhost >: 80/PSEMHUB/hub agentport = 5283

    -Bring the PIA first without any problems.

    -Bring EM Agent and get this error:

    Main EMF_CATEGORY of error - error reading cookies.xml cookiesrules.xml

    but he sends impulses anyway.

    -Configuration of the load change Wizard and ping to the host. OK, but the button results display gives this error "all agents must be running and sending impulses... before the beginning of change Assistant".

    Someone knows how to fix this?

    Thank you

    I had this happen a few times.  I work around this problem, but don't remember how (probably to do the cleaning agent and hub or maybe it was CA).  I think that once, I didn't have the time to screw with it, so I worked around it by pointing to a different HUB that already existed.

  • An error occurred while setting up the HA Agent on the host

    Hi people,

    We got our data center moved to a new location. I simply started the ESX and vCenter servers. When I connected the VI vCenter client I get error HA agent on all nodes of ESX. This Setup worked very well in our old data center. No configuration changes, which we did. vCenter and ESX servers are on the same subnet only so no problem connectivity or firewall, I guess. vCenter is installed on the physical server. For your information, our VMkernel network is in a different subnet and I guess VMkernel has nothing to do with the HA HA works with Network Service Console.

    I tried the following thing to solve the problem, but nothing helped.

    1. Reconfigure the node affected for VMware HA
    2. Disabled and enabled VMware HA cluster level
    3. Unplug and replugged affected node in the cluster
    4. Remove affected ESX node in the cluster. Delete Virtual Center agents and HA from the node assigned manually and re - add the node to the cluster
    5. Check name resolution between the nodes in the cluster and Virtual Center

    Any help would be really appreciated...

    Thank you
