Error code 652 on Vista sp2 windows update
I get repeated error codes 652 on my computer laptop sp2 from Vista when I try to update windows. Problem just started this week with KB2416473, an update of safety for microsoft.NET framework. I have Registry Easy and tried to scan and clean registry, but this did not help. Can someone help me?
Please use the backups created by "Registry Easy" to restore the registry information that he deleted. And to see what the users of it have to say, please read their comments here -http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/registryeasy.com
If you don't know how to modify the registry manually and then using a registry editor to do is similar to the delivery of a firearm loaded at a 4 year old child.
Bad editing the registry by a registry to suspect "cleaner" can make the system unusable and cause a no start. Your only recourse at this point is a clean reinstall of Vista.
1. download and Save the .NET Framework installation check tool
2. read the Guide to the user on the page above and to check the installation of .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 by tool
3. If it cannot be verified as being correctly installed, try to run a repair of programs and features.
Locate the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, click once to highlight, and then click the uninstall/change link and choose the repair option.
4. If a repair operation has not resolved the improper installation of .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, then Uninstall it.
5. download and Save full .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 package-

6 configure Vista to the boot - How to solve a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
7 reboot the system for the State of clean boot and disconnect the internet connection system that's for now.
8. run dotnetfx35.exe by right clicking it and choosing "run as Administrator". Accept the UAC prompt to allow it to run high.
9. once .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is installed, cancel the clean boot procedure, and then restart the system.
10. once the system has recovered to the normal mode of Windows, reconnect the system to its internet connection.
Allow all updates to install now.
If do what above has not resolved the installation of KB2416473, then contact Microsoft for assistance in getting it installed.
Visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.

Error code 8E5E0147, impossible to get Windows Update to work
When I try to download windows updates I get the following error code: "8e5e0147" and none of the updates will be installed. I now like 15 important updates.
I already searched this forum and other forums of solutions, but none of those I've tried seems to fix the problem. That's what I tried:
- Disabled Antivirus and firewall software
- Tried to install updates and
- Manually install the updates by microsoft download. This give me an error code, just "failed to install".
- Run a checkdisk, no errors.

Unsuccessful error code, installation 1601, Vista SP2
I have Vista SP2. My system is configured to accept Windows updates automatically. I recently started getting error code 1601 (impossible) to find the installer of windows. I tried searching on the MS knowledge base but keep is headed towards a solution for SP1, which advises me to install a package for SP1 or to install SP2.
There are no other symptoms or problems.
This has occurred as well when trying to install the latest version of Open Office and quite separately while trying to install the software for a network storage device.
Any advice on a solution to install SP2?
Thanks for the help.
The program fix did not work. I found that the msiserver was missing from my registry. No idea how it happened. I copied the script to Notepad in the registry, and now everything is fine.
