Error code when you try to burn CDs: C00D10DA
0x8002801c
I tried to burn a CD as usual and received the error C00D10DA. I tried the fixes with lowering the burn speed and did not work. I also tried to RUN "regsrv32wmp.dll" and got a different error message "DllRegisterServer failed: Error Code 0x8002801c. Help, please. This never happened, and I use the same CD as before with no problems.

Hi SPANKIJ,
· Do you have any other software installed on the computer for CD burning?
· What version of Windows media player installed on the computer?
· Did you the latest changes on the computer?
(a) clean the disk, make sure that it is not corrupted, and then try again.
(b) use a different brand of blank discs.
(c) close other open programs, and then try again.
If fails it above step then see them below Microsoft article and run the fixit tool available, check if it works.

Hello
Description of errors related to the 10 Code that generates the Device Manager in Windows on computers
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/943104/References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
