  OK, weird stuff here. If you make a new base and the attempt to use StyleManager (to load comiles CSS when running) it works... in other words, it works:

  StyleManager.loadStyleDeclarations ("styles/test_1.swf")
  
  However, try to create a simple Flex Data Services project and use the same code and for some reasons, you do not see as StyleManager method loadStyleDeclarations, but everything seems to be there! still unknown, leave within the Flex Data Services project, you can call us StyleManager.as and see clearly that loadStyleDeclarations is here. Is this a bug or am I a horrible configuration problem? I tried this on another machine with similar results. Help would be greatly appreciated, at least to confirm others see the same problem...

  OK, fixed it... you need to update of the SDS to 2.0.1 and Flex 2.0.1 update main course. Pretty obvious.

• Flex Data Services integrated into Oracle Web Service Proxy

  I am trying to invoke a service proxy web created with Oracle JDeveloper IDE via Flex Data Services.
  I created an assembler class and defined actionscript objects that are required to serialize web service data and then call the dataservice with the id provided in the datamanagement.config file.
  
  When I try to debug the application, the class of the assembler is not affected, I added a breakpoint in the class, but on beforehand the exception is already thrown.

  I found the problem, I had to configure JOTM in my tomcat server to allow transactions.

  You will need to create a new application group in Shared Services, it is simple to do - Create Application groups

  Once you have created the group, you should see it in the list of projects of Shared Services when you create a planning application.

• How can I set up a new Flex/WTP/LCDS project in FB3 beta 2?

  I am trying to set up a project using Flex Builder 3 (beta 2), using LiveCycle Data Services and J2EE/WTP support, but I'm a little confused on the second page of the wizard.
  
  All of the documentation I found (on the net and online help) describes the root folder, root URL fields and the root context, then the wizard asks me to choose a Target runtime, a root context and a content folder.
  
  I tried to continue with the default settings, but they do not work as expected (for example, Java SDK are not correctly setup so I am not able to access LiveCycle packages like mx.rpc.livecycle). I installed the package of LiveCycle Data Services ES on my host, using integrated JRun - do I have to install in the tomcat even configured as the targer rather runtime? And what is the exact meaning of the other fields?

  OK, found it.

  I had to include the library adobe-Remoting - provider.swc , available in the LiveCycle_ES_SDK in libraries in the flex project.

  I just install JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0. I tried to test a web service created (and tested successfully) in 11.1.1.5.0. The service is deployed on WebLogic Server internal but when I call 'Test Web Service' is the error I get:

  You can try the following to me?

  1. Tools-> preferences
  2. the powers-> HTTPS Credential

  Ideally take me a screenshot here.

  3. press the button "default".

  Then restart your tool. It is for me as we take hold of your https from a previous version settings.

  I logged in as admin and attempted to create a new workspace for a developer. In the last step, I got the error:

  Looks like it's a failure when attempting to load the objects of the sample into the new workspace. Go in managing Service / function Configuration and toggle Create demonstration objects... on OFF.

  Try to create the workspace after that and see if it works. I don't know why the sample app installation may fail but it might make you move.

  If the database does not already exist, it may be normal.

• Error creating new app

  Attempted to create a new application this morning and I get the following error:
  ORA-20001: unable to create modules. ORA-20001: unable to create the application. ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_040000.WWV_FLOWS_ALIAS_IDX) violated.
  
  We are on version 4.0 of the apex
  I take the default value for the number of app
  2 level tabs, theme 20, 1 blank page.
  
  Any suggestions on why this error pops up.
  
  Additional information [edit]. When I enter a number of different app I had no problem to create the app. I make an assumption, but it seems that the number generated app using both and was eliminated. Something somewhere still has the number of removed app stored and that's why I get the error.

  I had the same problem, but in version 3.2 of the Apex.

  It seems that an application alias must be unique inside a workspace Apex.
  The alias of the application is automatically created by the application wizard, but there is no verification whatsoever if this alias already exists or not.

  When the newly created application alias clashes with an existing alias, you will get the dreaded * "ORA-20001: unable to create modules." ORA-20001: unable to create the application. ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_040000.WWV_FLOWS_ALIAS_IDX) violated. "* error, it is not very useful.
  I think that might be described as a bug of Apex that has existed for some versions.

  To solve the problem, I use the following query to track the applications have an alias that does not match their application_id.

  select *
    from apex_applications a
   where a.alias like 'F___'
     and substr(a.alias, 2) != to_char(a.application_id)
   order by 2 desc;
  

  You will see that your new alias application is already used by an existing application, then you can fix it manually if you want in the screen of application definition.

  I hope that is useful for the next person who will run into the same problem.

    If you have more than one library to open iMovie, click on the context menu of the library and select the library where you want the movie to reside.

  My .java file has the same name with the game and have access to functions that are set by my assembler of java class.
  I'm calling other methods of filling and they seem to work except this one, well...
  
  

  The problem was that the name of the destination 'codecoverage' was identical to that of one of the packages where my .java file was there. Changed this name and things started working...  :-)
