Error D 800700, cannot update ServPac1.

I can't upgrade to Service Pack 1, it fails and I get an error code of 8007000D.

I did a factory restore with the new acer aspire 5336 records of Service and food and language.  Win 7 Home Premium - 64-bit.

I have used aid and two Microsoft solutions to check and test and install "HotShot", but no success yet.

I was able to update the many updates but now up to 9, including SP1 and any update. I turned off Microsoft Firewall, did not help.

I tried the proposed aid centre and the application of Fixer who said she fixed something and try again, but I may not get updated to the Service Pack 1 for Windows 7.

I used the 64 bit version. Yes, it will work, but you should not use the product key from the sticker located at the bottom of the laptop (sometimes inside the battery compartment) to activate Windows. You must also download and install the device drivers on the Acer support site: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
