  Something is wrong with this laboratory.  The controlcenter VM never gets an ip address, so that you never get to vCenter to do anything.  I used this lab a couple of times in the course of the last few weeks but just noticed this problem tonight.  I restarted the VM controlcenter with no luck.  He seems to think that it is disconnected from everything.

  All opinions are appreciated.

  In brief

  You must have first the vCenter to 5.5

  Never use caps - its considered bad manners, IE. you're shouting.

  HTTP 500 is unfortunately for you, a generic error that appears when the program you are using (WMP 9 in your case) cannot think of anything else to report.

  Just to complicate things a bit more, it is not a fault on your machine, but comes rather from the server and cannot be corrected on this machine.

  However, the upgrading to WMP10 or 11 and see if the same thing happens.

  Someone had a chance to create a script to update the traffic filtering and marking of area of a group of ports on a vSphere 5.5 Distributed Switch? The settings are only exposed in the web client for Onyx is not an option.

  I need to create a rule with the values below.

  Traffic Filterig and marking:

  Set State enabled

  New rule of network traffic

  Name: name of the traffic rule

  Action: Tag

  CoS value: tag value Update CoS: 4

  Qualifiers of traffic:

  Traffic management: evacuation

  New qualifying traffic system: vMotion

  Before you start, I google this problem for 2 weeks now, haven't tried many suggestions on the previous forums al Lrevetu no chance. You are my last hope!
  
  Using Dreamweaver 8, SQL server (express edition) win XP pro with IIS, .net 2.0 framework, MDAC2.7
  
  Here's the problem, I have the configuration database everything correctly, cannot access it via the browser etc. no problem.
  
  In dreamweaver 8, I create a new dynamic ASP VB Script page to connect to the same database - Bingo! everything works like a charm.
  
  I then change the site to use ASP.NET VB as a model (because that's what I would like to develpop my app in), create a page ASP.NET VB, go to, click the application Panel the sign etc. + > select OLEDB SQL Server provider.
  
  I choose my server name, choose windows authentication as the connection method and then can see the dabase in the catalogue box and select it. (these are exactly the same parameters as the ASP page that I tested and worked).
  
  I click on the test button, 'Successful Test' fantastic, I think.
  Press ok
  The next window displays the connection string, I add a name for the test connection click and get the error message "Server error internal 500 - Http error code.
  
  If I click ok, and then try and spread my tables of the database = none.

  I tried the following:
  I don't think that it is a database problem, one I tried with access, MySQL, and SQL server all with the same result.
  ASP works very well - ASP.NET fails. I read on other forums that ASP.NET "remotely" connect on the test server and that is where the problem may reside.
  I copied MMScript directory to the root of my c:\inetpub\www\root\ directory since it was also a suggestion.
  I added the full access of all accounts in this directory (initially after just try IIuser and those normal).
  
  My test server is local, c:\inetpub\wwwroot\pbuyer\
  localhost/pbuyer (not in front of my dw at the mo but can confirm it is set up correctly).
  
  I can only think it is a permissions issue, but as a last resort, I gave permissions for each account in all records to try to resolve the problem. Other posters have reported the Macromedia could not replicate it and therefore could not provide a solution, and all messages on the internet, there is not a solution.
  Reinstall IIS would be an idea of the gaffe?

  OK - I've fixed.

  For all those who have the same problem (and I know because there are literally thousands of this exact topic in all directions with no resolution) you do the following:

  Go to services to check that all of the ASP.NET services like running, for me:

  ASP.NET State service is set to manual - I clicked on start and Bingo! I can finally access my database.

  Seems that this is due to corrupt device packages. Try the following:

  > stop demon

  > remove NMSROOT\CSCOpx\www\classpath\com\cisco\nm\xms\psu\maps\rme*.maps (another copy somwhere)

  > run the command NMROOT\bin\psucli Pei rme - cpf

  > started the demons return

  see if the problem goes away.

• Reclassification vNetwork Distributed Switch from 4.0 to 4.1

  Hello

  When I created a new vNDS in 4.1, the dialog box will give a choice to choose between versions 4.0 and 4.1. So that means there are 2 versions of this vDS (which should, as the new version adds new features).

  Now that there are 2 versions, how us improve it? Need the host to be in maintenance mode (and rebooted) since we are changing something in the VMkernel level?

  If the management network is also on the DS vNetwork, he re - connect automatically?

  The 4.1 update guide does not cover the this still.

  I have not tried this upgrade, but all the information is available in the ESX configuration guide that is accessible from the link http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere4/r41/vsp_41_esx_server_config.pdf check the page number for the check number 32 page for upgrade a vDS to a newer Version.

• HTTP 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

  Hello team,

  I get this error HTTP 500 Internal Server Error whenever I try to access our predetermined (2).

  I can access the other 3 very well.

  Two of my other coworkes can access ALL predetermined very well.  It just seems to be local to my machine.

  I still am able to confduct exports and scripts for action for the hierarchy with no problems.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Post the details of the version of the application, the database version and the OS.

  Is the database upward and the functioning without error? You can find errors in the database log file?

  Please compile JSP files according (Blank Page access R12 - ' lack of class: _RF' in OACore application.log [467562.1 ID]), and then try again.

  as said Enterprise Plus license is necessary for a vNetwork Distributed Switch.  You can create one under Enterprise license, but don't be fooled, you can not use.

  Maybe VMware one day will remove the ability to create even one based on the license model.
