Error in Oracle DBLink

Hi all.
We are facing a problem when you try to use the LKM Oracle DBlink. When simulating the generated code, and examine the declaration creating the link we get the following code:

create the database link
to connect to
identified by ' < @= snpRef.getInfo ("SRC_PASS") @ >.
using the "

so the name of DBLink, the Source database and the connection string is missing.
We set the Source and target Sources shemata and tested connections. Any ideas as to what we're doing wrong?

Thank you

Right now check the same in your KM. If you still can't get it resolved and to select the logical schema name in your command on the source corresponding to this step (link to create the target database).

Thank you
Chantal

#v_AddlVariables organizes values for multiple variables.

Please help me solve this problem, as a similar code is already running in ODI 10 G. Can't understand why this gap in 11G

    ODI Version: 11.1.1.9.0

Yes you are right, I found the solution so far. There is a problem with the analysis in ODI.

Variable names are not any question (by variable names are case-sensitive in ODI 11.1.1.9.0)

    Solution:

    OdiStartScen '-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName ""-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion ' '-SYNC_MODE = 1 "#v_AddlVariables".

Here odi is not expected a variable, it waits for a command in the form of

    OdiStartScen "-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName" "-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion '"-SYNC_MODE = 1 ""-= value .var_name ' "»

so, I changed the format of the command to

    OdiStartScen '-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName ""-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion ' '-SYNC_MODE = 1 ""-project_code #. "". " #var_name = #var_value.

that is to put all my requirements for entry into the different variables solved the problem.

ODI 11 G is really better understand some features that were already working in ODI 10 G. It's like finding the solution once more

  • Get more information about the last error in Oracle

    Hi all

There is a newspaper in a live system where it is possible to see every minute the following error:

    Scan incident [48073]: failed, err = [1858]

I know that the error may occur primarily when:
1 try to insert caracter field into a numeric column
    2. use to misuse the function to_date()

I need more information about this error, it may be the cause of the error in the system and why. Is it possible to see more information about past errors in Oracle? For example, if a query generates an error... is it possible to see in Oracle, the error and the query that caused the error?

    Hope you can help me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Your error has been detected by the repository of auto diagnosis, lack of gather incident details correctly. There are a couple of metalink notes apparently relevant, then I would say that you start with the connection a SR with Oracle (for reference, they refer to a bad installation of oracle or a corruption of the oracle software)

This error with the simple opening bracket is commonly indicating a problem of NLS.

Unfortunately, you specify which ODBC driver manager and ODBC driver you are using and on what platform you have installed the bridge, so I can only guess...

Could you please add 2 to your gateway gateway config file settings, and then try again from the select in a new SQL * Plus the term:

Yes, you need to have a (psqlodbc.so) ODBC driver and the ODBC Driver Manager (very common name is libodbc.so). If you are absent Manager ODBC drivers that you find for example the unixodbc.org and once you have it installed you need to fix HS_FDS_SHAREABLE_NAME to refer to the driver manager. The driver manager will check the file odbc.ini and according to the specified DSN, it will load your ODBC driver.

Me stupid (when do I start to actually read what was written)

You have a table with varchar2(), the date and xmltype.

So, how do you think Oracle to convert the xmltype column to xmltype (at least it's a moment)?

So you can get the content out, xmltype but then you have to convert it to xml, it is already XML...

So we need to find another approach to "xmltype (cursor (select * table)).

In principle, you can extract the content in the XML file directly.

    For example (untested) something like

    select xt.pod
    from table tab
          , xmltable ('/edi_l/trader/idrif/hdr',
                          passing tab.XML_FILE

  • Errors in Oracle database Mobile Sever 11 g Installation with a

    Hello

I installed IBM WAS (WebSphere Application server) version 7.0 and I am trying to identify the basis for IBM WAS 7.0 installation directory. This information is necessary to install Oracle mobile server on my machine. Can you please help me find the location of the application server.

I tried all possible paths of application server. Its gives me an error message "No. Application Server is found."

    I installed WAS in C:\IBM.

At the present time, we don't certify against WAS.    If it is an application server is necessary you should channel a request via the support of oracle, and oracle sales representative.

    Thank you

    Mike

  • Error with Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll

I have a desktop application (VB 2010 Expression Edition on Windows 7, connect to Oracle 11 g XE on my local machine) and it works fine if I use Oracle.DataAccess.Client, but he givens me the below error if I used ManagedDataAccess.

Finally, the user has a solution. He said: "I have sqlnet.ora file which references ldap file.» Once, I renamed the file, the managed application works fine with ldap renamed file. When the Sqlnet.ora file exist, managed application must ldap.ora file but is not using the tnsnames.ora file from the location specified in the ldap file. »

    Here are the Sqlnet.ora content:

    sqlnet.ora # Network Configuration file: C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\network\admin\sqlnet.ora

    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    # This file is actually generated by netca. But if customers can opt for

    # install 'Software Only', this file does not exist and without the native

authentication #, they will not be able to connect to the database on NT.

    SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

    NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (LDAP, TNSNAMES)

    NAMES. DEFAULT_DOMAIN = Server.Sample.com

In conclusion, we are moving. However, on the side of the Oracle, it might be interesting to try to avoid a NullReferenceException in OracleInternal.Network.LDAP._LDAP (Hashtable dsMap).

Once again, thank you for the continuous dialog box!
