No 64-bit RAC ASM OEL4 Oracle10gR2

Hi all

I try to update our data base to 11g and I get the following error when I try to start the database with the command START UPGRADE. I make a manual level and following the upgrade guide:

SQL > startup pfile='/opt/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/dbs/initFPRCTEMP.ora upgrade ';

What's weird, is that I checked and the ASM instance is running. I checked all the environment variables (PATH and new home of 11g ORACLE_HOME) and I also put the oratab entry to point to the new home of the Oracle, as indicated in the documentation. Here are my entries in the .bash_profile file and the oratab file.

Thanks to you all.

HM... Please take a look at ML -Note: 337737.1 (I just mention the combinations with an 11 g database)-I noticed that you do not have a RAC installation but nevertheless you CSS running to your instance of the DSO.

11.1.___10.2___11.1___Y

If upgrading the ASM instance should first solve this problem. The upgrade of the ASM means: you stop your database running in ASM and upgrade ASM with the DBUA instance. It'll take a few minutes, because there is no dictionary database in ASM.

It might be useful to have a read of the following doc Oracle Support - "error:"error Communication with the server. " "Callback failed for the data entry page" when you open a Web form of planning with the members of the Type of text [ID 1392689.1].

Any ideas what could cause this error?

First I thought maybe it's because the same mistake: what to do if your Package ID was rejected by BlackBerry App World

But the creation of a new element of product does not help with this problem.

It is a native application of qml Qt. It does not store the files, need to no write access and uses only simple, free of components created 1.0 QtQuick with no additives. So, it should be the best portable application out of my small collection.

Unfortunately I have no real device here since I, like many of you, to present one of my tablet at BB App World Applications, first to get a.

Google was not my friend on this topic, so I hope someone has this kind of error message and could tell me what could bring it. Any kind of advice are welcome.

    Best regards

    HELEx (Ambassador of Qt)

FYI, a new simpler command allows to sign the 1 step:

    BlackBerry-sign - storepass .bar

P12 both RDK of passwords must be the same, but this measure will apply to both the two signatures. It should have the same results as the command that you run.

    Kind regards

  • PS_Exec (P): Error of the command batch with reason: no such file or directory (2)

We have symantec pgp installed in our system and trying to decrypt a file through the app engine.

    our process procedure.

    1 FTP the source files.

    2. search files

    3. use pgp to decrypt the file by file

trying to decipher runs aground and always gives following error

PS_Exec (P): Error of the command batch with reason: no such file or directory (2)

When I run the same command using the command line it goes thru very well.

running order: decrypt pgp - q - passphrase "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx exit»--/data/staging/bank_statements/Reconciliation_files/BAI2_20150618155803.bai.asc--/data/staging/bank_statements/Reconciliation_files/BAI2_20150618155803.bai.

    any help is really appreciated

    Hi all

I finally understood what happened. The installation of PGP directory is located in/usr/local /. So we moved the installation from this location PS_HOME location and he started to work very well.

so our installation location current symantec pgp is pgp/PS_HOME /.

Another point to note was if we are trying to encrypt or decrypt using PeopleSoft PSExec() and these files are under/usr directory structure order Symantec PGP fails to do. the same command works fine through command line, but not through PSExec(). Indeed, the user has full access, but even he couldn't do anything. . But if we use our own custom directories the file gets encrypted and decrypted as you wish.

    Hope these little things help.

  • How to download the program Volume control for the taskbar

Where can I get the installer of the volume control for my taskbar. I've triedControl Panel >sounds and Audio devices > check "Place Volume in the taskbar icon .

When I check the box for "place volume icon in the taskbar" it gives me an error and says "Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it, use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

Where can I get the program from?

You mention that your netbook is HP. Most of the HP products have a recovery partition. If this is the case:

    -Click Start-> Run

    -Type in cmd

-Type in the following, substitute the C:\ and D:\ readers with your partition recovery and partition system respectively:

    Expand c:\i386\sndvol32.ex_ d:\windows\system32\dllcache\sndvol32.exe

    -Press enter, and then type:

    Expand c:\i386\sndvol32.ex_ d:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe

    -Type exit and press ENTER.

Your Volume control should now be restored. You can check this by opening the sound and Audio Control Panel devices and by checking the box to the volume icon to Place in the taskbar.

If your problem is not solved or there is no such thing as a recovery partition after the return

    Hope this helps

  • error during the installation of SP3 for windows xp-"cannot read or write to database"

I have windows xp and when I try to install sp3 I get a message saying "cannot read or write from database" and stops the installation.

How long the machine was not installed SP3?
    (It could be infested/infected/etc.)

In any case, what I suggest is to prepare the machine for the update...

Chancing some repetative tasks... Maybe just do the following:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

(Especially of interest here - #4)
    (Variant: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_hotfix_backup.htm )

You can run disk - integrated into Windows XP - cleanup to erase everything except your last restore point and yet more 'free '... files cleaning

    How to use disk cleanup
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310312

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)
    http://www.CCleaner.com/
(just disk cleanup - do not play with the part of the registry for the moment)

Other ways to free up space...

    JDiskReport
    http://www.jgoodies.com/freeware/JDiskReport/index.html

Those who can help you discover visually where all space is used. Then, you can determine what to do.

  • Error in the target database duplicate for standby

    Hi all
I had a problem trying to rebuild the database pending. This is my environment: Oracle 10g RAC with 2 node on window 2003 Server R2, 32-bit. Main database and backup are 2 RAC node that is located on a different server with the location of this material/ASM configuration and directory structures.
    Here is my scenario:
After custody of data works, I deleted the eve of database, say sbdb, using dbca. so I recreated the Oracle service using oradim on standby node, Setup the correct file pfile and spfile from the primaries. I used the same procedure to create database pending several times before. They were all successful. This time, the only difference is that I also recreated primary db in the past and this time I do not rebuild primary db. I think that it is bound to the control file. But the message, it seems to pick the right command file for sleep. Any suggestion?

Thank you very much in advance.

occurs, if RMAN "think" there is no backup data file. In such a case, RMAN attempts to recreate the data files and subsequently applies all necessary for these new files archivelogs created. Which is never possible for datafile 1, which still belongs to the space of SYSTEM tables. Basically, I think you're right, that there is something wrong with the controlfile used during the duplication process. Check if the controlfile maintains valid backups for the current incarnation (incarnation of list + list of backup). The next note of metalink can give more advice:
