  2 > click on manage---> security
  3 > it will show a window which displays users, groups, etc.
  4 > select user.
  5 > on the side right window right click and select new user.
  6 > a window will appear where you must type the user name, the description, and the password, and then click ok
  7 > your user name is created. Now save the RPD.
  8 > connection to presentation Services with the user you just created. This will create the user in your presentation.

  Ryan,

  Yes, you missed to create views for the source tables. both in the design of dac > tables tab, select any table and clieck right on it and then click capture of change scripts > generate scripts from view. It will ask you if it can generate a script for all tables. so it will generate the script from view for you. now run the whole esript in the source database. then your problem will be solved.

• Error with the function "Open/create/overwrite file" with cancel button

  I have attached a very simple VI who embodies what I want to do with my function to open the file. I just want to stop the rest of my program (theoretically embedded in the Structure box) to run if the user deigns to do not to specify a file location.

  However, if you click on the button cancel an error is produced before the rest of the program is running. If ignore you the error and continue, the "canceled" properly true made variable and the Structure of business runs correctly. "" I just want to remove the error message given to me by LabVIEW.

• Error in the Merge statement using dblink

  Hello

  I am facing the following error when you use the merge statement using the dblink.

  ORA-02069: global_names must be set to true for this operation parameter.

  I can use the same dblink in my select insert and update statements but when I try to use merge then he invites the error said, is also not any syntax error as same statement can be used on the same tables of database instead of dblink.

  Please suggest any help will be much appreciated.

  If insert and update statements work well through links db, then it should not be a problem with the merge statement. But if you are faced with the question, so please check the entire sql statement with tnsnames on both sides. Please share the tnsnames for the two dbs with dblink ddl.

  My program on Win2003 Server with oracle client works fine, but on another machine with customer instant does not.
  
  The following statement retrieves data on server 1, but nothing on the 2nd machine:
  SELECT myField FROM myTable WHERE someField = "TASZ.
  
  The problem is with the letter 'A '.
  
  The database is the same! Only the changing customer.

  I don't think this is the right forum. What do you use to access the data? Oracle Data Provider for .NET? or something else?
  Also, look in settings NLS_LANG. You may need to set those with instant client.

  Error code 400 is the standard HTTP status code, indicating the incorrect query.

  The problem is when you get a role of reference, the XML tag for this reference is "RoleReference".

  When you create a user, the XML tag that is expected for the role reference is 'Role '.

  So after getting the reference to the role of the admin vCloud (VCloudType) object.

  $adminRoleRefs = $sdkAdmin-> getRoleRefs ('organisation administrator');

  the user must make one more step to convert the tag.

  There are two ways to do this:

  1. with the help of $adminRoleRefs [0]-> set_tagName ('Role');

  or

  2. with the help of VMware_VCloud_SDK_Helper::createReferenceTypeObj ($adminRoleRefs [0]-> get_href());

  I will record a bug in development of the SDK for this question.

• Error when the appellation newly created folder: this item is not found

  Hello

  I found the thread when people are struggling to remove the folder.  However, I have the opposite problem.

  When I create a new folder, type to replace the name "New folder" and then on enter, I get this error:

  This item is not found

  It is no longer in C:\folder1\folder2.  Check the location of the item and try again.

  Two options: retry and cancel.

  I did Try Again and it works.

  How can I fix it?

• The button "open in Smartview" error in the workspace for a user

  Hello

  One of our users is facing a problem while trying to open the data forms in Smartview via the workspace by using the option "open in Smartview. When you click on it it gives the following error: "the address is not valid."

  FYI - just to make sure I tried the same thing on another system with a different user name, and it seems to work correctly for the user and the system.

  It looks like an option or setting is not right or was messed up. Can you get it someone please let me know what setting/option could be the cause of this error and how to fix it.

  You can connect to My Oracle Support Site and search for document id in the knowledge base search box. BTW, here's what you can do:

  1. uninstall Smart View
  2. Select START-> RUN
  3. type regedit
  4. go to HKEY_LOCAL_USERS\\software\HyperionSolutions\SmartView
  5 remove the Smart View key.
  6. close regedit.
  7 install Smart View

  Also, did you use are secure https protocol? In the options of IE, try to activate "Display mixed content" and see if that helps.
