error installation w2207h Monitor driver

I have a Pavilion a6600f, visat home premium 64-bit. I have just purchsed a (w2207f) 22 in monitor ho; I'm having a problem installing the 9either driver from the CD provided or that I can download on the HP website). He just told me that an error has occurred during installation and the driver was not installed. can someone help me?

Monitors that are plug and play compatible don't require drivers work.  Is it missing from the display resolutions

or the name of the monitor is "default monitor", you may need to update the video drivers on the computer.

  • Error installation software device driver for removable devices in Windows Vista x 64

I have Windows Vista x 64 installed on my PC and nVidia Forceware motherboard and graphic cards.

When I plug in any removable drive into my USB 2.0 port, Windows starts the installation of the device driver software and then sees it as an unknown device. The dialog where he asks me if I want to 'locate and install driver software', 'Ask Me later' or 'don't show this message for this device.

I select the recommended option: "locate and install driver software.

I click 'Continue' when Windows asks me permission to continue.

Then, when the execution of the installer of the software in the bottom right of my screen, the installation of driver software for device, it shows "unidentified device failed.

Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

An error occurred during the installation of the device:

That's what he does when I'm trying to connect my Kodak Easyshare M550 digital camera. I would go ahead and contact Kodak, but the problem seems to extend to ANY removable device on my computer.

For example, I have a Lexar Flashdrive. When I plug it into my USB 2.0 port, it Windows says the following:

"Windows needs to install driver software for your USB Flash Drive", etc...

'Install the device driver software', 'USB Flash Drive search Windows Update'...

Then a window opens asking me to "insert the disk that came with your USB key. Problem is that no driver disk not supplied with the hardware that Windows Vista is supposed to come with the drivers. I know this because the camera and usb flash drive worked very well until I reinstalled Windows Vista on my new hard drive (new installation, because my old hard drive crashed) and I've NEVER had to install device drivers for Windows to recognize it as a removable drive and operate automatically.

Also, I installed Daemon Tools Lite and I had to manually "Update" the device driver to point to the "Windows\INF" folder in my hard drive, after copying the cdrom files needed for the specific subfolders for windows to let the program assign a drive letter for the drive virtual it creates.

I think that perhaps not all device drivers have been installed when I installed Windows Vista, this time. If that's the problem, I don't know how that could happen, nor how to fix it, but I really prefer to find a way to solve this problem without reinstalling Windows Vista again. I don't mind not manually install the drivers as long as someone can show me what files to copy and where to find them on the Windows Vista disk that I bought at Microsoft. I KNOW that Windows HAS come with these drivers.

If anyone knows how I can fix this, please tell me, because it's ridiculous to not be able to use any removable device readers (except for the use of all Flash drives). Thanks in advance.

I know it can be frustrating to solve problems.

  • Satellite Pro A210 - error recovery after a new installation of HARD drive

    Hello

I have a satellite pro 210 (bios v1.6) has died the HARD drive.

I bought a new WD Scorpio Blue 250 GB HARD drive and ran the reinstall drive (I've done exactly this for a friends Equium a month or so back and all worked flawlessy!)

Everything worked fine until the first re-boot, went through the usual stuff:
Please wait a moment while windows starts for the first time
Then a windows background, spinning slider with waiting message please, much HDD activity
    Then the sudden error:
"Installation of Windows could not configure windows to run on a hardware on this computer."

Does anyone have ideas, what it might be?
A google search suggests the sata bios settings, but I do not see in the configuration of the bios page.
In my view, there is a new bios v2 by download - would this help?
If so how can I install it when the computer does not start vista? Or any other suggestions?

    Thanks for reading.

    Cheers, Stephen

    Hello

The SATA driver is not necessary if you use the Toshiba Recovery disk because the image on the recovery disk contains the SATA driver.
So there must be other reason for it.

In your case, I recommend setting the BIOS settings by default and start over once the recovery procedure.
Maybe something went wrong during the configuration of the OS if second installation is worth a try

  • DVD player does not appear error - the driver may be corrupted or missing. Code 39, fix the driver installation fails, virtual drives don't work - same results if the material under tension

Original title: drive does not appear, difficulty he pilot installation fails, virtual drives don't work - same results if the material under tension

A few weeks ago, as my two DVD players (the two Samsung Lightscribe SH-S223Q of) disappeared after a repair installed, I did for the other problems (not sure if it was directly after installation because I don't notice it right away, but it was no doubt). In Device Manager, it gives the message:

"Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) »

I tried the Microsoft Fix It tool (Mats_Run.dvd.exe) that detects the problem and says "Install device driver" in a popup, but then he says "software device driver failed to installed. At the end it says under the issue, the "CD/DVD drive is not detected" and the status of Fix 'not set '. Note that, when I boot from another hard drive (with Vista 64 on it installed from the same DVD, just a new installation) disks appear very well. Also I can boot from the drive as well.

I can't do a repair installation, since it must initiate Windows, and I can't load the disc. I tried to update my BIOS but that has no effect.

Recently I actually moved this hard drive to another one, with another brand of hard drive and all the rest. Just like before, if I boot from another hard drive (this one with Windows 7), the drive unit-a Optiarc AD-7230 s - looks and works, and I can also boot from the drive at startup. But since the drive hard as I want to use, the drive does not appear. Fix it, etc. Device Manager gives the same messages as before.

I tried virtual drives - Daemon Tools Lite and Virtual Clonedrive. When I try to add virtual devices to help, nothing happens. The new drive will be displayed in the Manager of devices, but with the same error Code 39 as the real drive.

What are my options at this point? How can I get the drive to appear or to fix my copy of Windows?

I could solve this problem. I started in Ubuntu and deleted the existing cdrom.sys, cdrom.inf etc. files (as in Windows, they were protected and I couldn't delete them), then I copied the files from another installation of Vista I had on another hard drive. After having done that, I updated the drivers in device, disabled/enabled readers and readers management that presented themselves.

  • 2207 monitor: HP: w2207h monitor startup problem

My HP monitor only has not been commissioning correctly several months now. When it appeared everything first, the monitor has refused to start when the power button has been pressed. I noticed a noise "rattling or burst" and could see that the blue power light was bike works at short intervals. After some time the monitor came; However, as the time (weeks) traveled by the monitor continued to click and not to open the splash screen. When it happened I pressed the button of keyboard sleep and distributed, and for some reason, the monitor eventually would come on.

The monitor is not connected to a TV, it is only connected to the computer by VGA cable. I thought that the problem could be something to do with either the screen saver sleep or the settings mode, so I checked the power options and found that the two 'turn it off display", and"Put the computer to sleep"parameters had never chosen as their option. I ran the HP Hardware Diagnostic tools to monitor, but the tests were only good for alignment, color, brightness, etc.  I also checked to see if she needed a driver updated by the following process: computers > properties > tasks > Device Manager, and then clicking on other devices and by double clicking on the monitor; on the general tab, it displays the message, "this device is functioning correctly.

After a few weeks over time, sleep button thing has stopped working and I tried to leave the monitor on the night with the computer turned off. When the computer was returned the next day, the monitor took over the rattling again, but still it would end by lights.

Currently, I've resorted to press the button sleep when the monitor does not start alone, so far successfully startups, but I'm afraid it will cease to begin.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

  • installation of the driver Imation superdisk120 (LONG)

Under XP, service pack 2 and not connected to the internet. The Imation SuperDisk is parallel port model not a USB device.  It plugs into the printer port connector.

Eager to recover an old file off a Superdisk Imation 120 I tried to connect the drive to the old computer, where it was once installed.  Drive was not working so I uninstalled and installed again since the original Imation disk.

The installation seems to work and the display the message says that it has been installed successfully.  But when I try to use the PC hangs.  The device is not correctly displayed on the Explorer window - it says "diskette of 3 1/2 (b)" if I do a forced shutdown, Windows XP is up with terrible disk addressing messages to not be consistent, files not where they are supposed to be, etc..  But if I start in safe mode and uninstall the Superdisk, Windows XP is happy once more and does not seem to suffer persistent problems.

I tried to find a more appropriate (XP) or a more recent driver using my PC every day, but this product is obsolete for a long time.

There is a ReadMe.TXT file which involves potential problems with the device and the IRQ addresses, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to make heads or tales of what he says.  In part because it is written for older versions of Windows 95 or NT.

I suspect that it is indeed addressing conflict but have no idea how to go about fixing.  Here's what says the ReadMe.TXT file:

    *****************************************************************************************

    Overview of the Parallel Port
    -------------------------------------

Parallel ports have traditionally been seen as "printer ports".
As mobile and external devices are becoming very popular, new
standards of port as Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) in parallel and
Extended features (ECP) port are breaking the barriers of performance
and which allows operation at full bus speed.

Machines IBM-compatible supports 3 parallel ports.
Each parallel port has a unique i/o address.  The three commonly used
O/r address are 0x3BCh, 0x378h, 0x278h with two available interrupts
(IRQ 7 and IRQ 5). Systems not IBM as NEC 98XX have ports such as 0x140h.
and IRQ 14. These addresses are also called by the "logical device name.
    some LPT1, LPT2, LPT3.

Normally, the first port is configured for 0x3BCh/IRQ7, the second at 0x378h.
IRQ7 and the third in 0x278h/IRQ5. However the ports can be assigned to one of
These three addresses. It is possible to set up a parallel port to share
IRQ, like most software does not IRQ use while using the port. However
interrupt the driver software as an external hard disk, cdroms, etc., may require that
IRQ for improved operation. Most of the systems on the market have their
first parallel port (LPT1) assigned 378 h, IRQ 7 by default when shipped.

The base address and the IRQ can be identified by the search:

    a. in the CMOS settings.

    b. with the help of MSD (Microsoft Diagnostics) in the BACK, the Device Manager under
System of WIN95, WINNT Diagnostics in NT

In some systems, the CMOS does not address basis nor the IRQ, but
    Specifies 1 parallel to 3BC/IRQ7, 2 parallel for 378/IRQ 7 and parallel 3
    for 278 /IRQ 5.

In some LPT1/378 systems options assigned LPT IRQ 7 and assigns LPT2/278
the turbine BP to IRQ 5.

    Troubleshooting tips
    -----------------------

    General:

    1. the questions of recognition of parallel Port
The system has a parallel port EPP, but do not initialize in EPP.

    Solution:
The pilot of the shuttle initialize EPP only for parallel port basics set
to 378 h and 278 h. If the parallel port to which the device of the shuttle is
connected is configured to 3BCh, the driver will initialize not in EPP.

    2. the driver fails to load or to identify the adapter. Pilot reports
"Error during initialization adapter, driver failed to load".

    Solution:
    a. unplug the unit and set up the system.
    b. Add the option "/ a" to the driver.
    d. Save and reboot the system after the connection of the shuttle.

    If this does not work:
    Repeat steps a and b.
    c. Type "/ DI/R2 /W2"
    d. Save and reboot the system after the connection of the shuttle.

    If this does not work:
    Repeat steps a and b.
    c. Type "which / / W2/R2 OF."
    d. Save and reboot the system after the connection of the shuttle.

Configuration of the clashes often lead to problems that system or to prevent crash
the pilot of the shuttle from loading successfully. Make sure that other devices
installed in the system are not configured to use the same base port and the IRQ
values. A typical example is of sound cards that are popularly set to
    Use IRQ 7.

    BACK:

1 Shuttle hard/removable disk drive and FDISK

    Solution:
To partition the hard drive or removable drive with the
The command FDISK, support INT 13 h must be activated.

Add option/b to the driver in the CONFIG. SYS to enable INT 13 h support
    and re-start the system.

Run FDISK displays now the shuttle HDD as well.

    Win 95:

1 uninstall or prevent a shuttle loading MPD

    Procedure:
To uninstall the shuttle MPD in Device Manager expand SCSI
Adapters section, select the entry for the device of the shuttle,
Click on delete. Confirm when the confirmation dialog box appears and
Reboot the system to reflect the change.
The entrance to the MPD shuttle now will no longer appear in Device Manager
    under SCSI cards.
The MPD is NOT deleted it has installed the path.
To prevent the MPD of shuttle loading, in Device Manager, expand
the item of SCSI cards, and then at the entrance of the MPD shuttle.
Click Properties and uncheck the box that reads Original
    [Current] configuration.
Re-start the system, the MPD will not charge.
(This can be checked by the Red 'X' that will appear
alongside the MPD entry in Device Manager.)

2 assignment/Reassigning the drive letter of the device of the shuttle

    Procedure:
In Device Manager, select the device from the shuttle by clicking on it,
Click the settings tab, change the drive letter appears.
Reboot the system to reflect the change.

3 shuttle MPDs running on machines not standard parallel port
    Addresses basic or IRQ.

    Solution:
On machines like the NEC 9800 series, the MPD requires that be explicitly
with the parallel port IRQ and port values.
In Device Manager, expand the item of SCSI cards, click on the
Shuttle MPD, click Properties, select the settings tab and type
base port and the IRQ values as follows:
    PORT = 0xYYY IRQ = Z
The prefix 0 x is required. YYY is the port of departure for example 140 and Z is the
    IRQ 12 value for example.

    4. the shuttle hard/removable disk drive and FDISK

    Solution:
To partition the HARD drive of the shuttle with the command FDISK, INT 13 h
    support must be enabled.
In Device Manager, select the device from the shuttle, click on properties,
Check the box relating to Int 13 support and re-start the system.

Run FDISK displays now the shuttle HDD as well.

    5. general controls and advice on improving overall performance

    a. make sure that the configuration of the CMOS setting for the parallel port
and the setting in Device Manager is the same.
    (b) ensure that there is no Port Base and IRQ comes into conflict with others
    devices such as sound cards.
    c. If the compatible parallel port EPP, ensure that the parallel port
in the system CMOS is set to EPP.
    d. to step to the top performance of the system, in the Control Panel,.
Select system, select the performance tab, click file system.
ensure that the Performance is set to Full.
    e. Select the Troubleshooting tab and make sure that writing it back
Cache is enabled. These are usually the default settings.

    WINDOWS NT:

    1. in the start of Windows NT does not recognize cartridge not
    drive letter is assigned.

Windows NT will not assign a drive letter unless a cartridge has a
    Signature of Windows NT.

    Solution:
Run Disk Administrator to place a signature of windows NT on the cartridge.

Windows 7, 32 bit, during normal use makes the sound of a detached USB device and then the screen goes black.

After a few seconds the screen back again, but the computer responds to nothing; then the screen goes black again. This error message is displayed: "driver Intel Graphics Accelerator display drivers for Windows Vista (r) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

He has no option but to manually shut down the computer.
I've updated the display driver and bios, but it happens still 3 to 4 times per day.

You have a Windows 7 preinstalled on your laptop

But the error message means that:
