How can I can create PDFs directly with Acrobat?
How can I change or edit the pdf downloaded files?

Frankly, I bought the program thinking I can easily create PDF with acrobat and also be able to modify PDF files with the program. Your explanation above, it seems that these two simple functions are a major challenge. I'm a little disappointed. I will read the content of the links that are provided, but may I ask if there is a good program on the market that I could use to download a PDF file to edit it or save to PDF conversion front?
My problem is that I often don't have access to the server where the file origin. So what can I do in this case?

I've just upgraded to a new Mac. When you try to load my CS4 disks, I entered the serial No. According to needs. It has been accepted, but then the next screen asked on updates. I put in the same info, CS 4 and the serial No. It has not been recognized. That is what it is? Are there any available 4-6 upgrade?

My computer died. I got Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard. I am trying to install on my new MacBook. Is it 90%, but telling me that I need to close Safari Agent notification and history of Cloud of Safari. Nothing is open/running (AFAIK). How to go beyond that and complete my installation? To replace the hard drive on my MacBook Pro, I disable Photoshop 6, and I believe that I have disabled my Photoshop 5.5 (Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard). Supposedly if you turn into a sequel they will disable all. I could, through the Adobe Web site to download and install Photoshop 6; but the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard is not put at my disposal for download. Any suggestions?

I have reinstalled the operating system on my mac. After that, I reinstalled my "Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard" disks. Illustrator etc works fine, but when I try to enter the serial number when you start Acrobat, it says: "this serial number is not valid for this product".

The problem was the language of the system against the language of the installer. Problem has been resolved with change of system language to the language of the Installer (from English to Dutch). Arrived at the answer by private message.

How to download programs Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard w/o using disk
I have a purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard (including PS, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) that resides on a disk. I don't have a portable hard drive on my new computer. Can I download Online and do not use the disc? How do I do that? I use Windows 10.

I have Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard and trying to move it to a new laptop. I disabled it on the old, but when I enter my serial number on the new laptop, I get an error message that the serial number is valid, but the product is not recognized. There is a dropdown menu, but my product (5.5) is not listed. How can I get the program on the new laptop? My old laptop is Windows 7 and the news is Windows 10.

Error downloading Adobe Creative Suite Standard CS4 Premium
I can't find my disk for my Adobe Creative Suite Standard CS4 Premium.
I'm trying to download it from www.adobe.com using my serial number.
It was working fine until I tried to install. I closed all programs and restarted my computer. Stopped my firewall and there are no programs running on my computer.
I get an error message

Please close these applications and then click Retry to continue
It will work with Windows 10

During upgrade Adobe Creative Suite CS4 ME in Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Design Premium, I get an error saying that the serial number is not an eligible product, please try another. I used to be able to get a code for the customer service, but I can't chat. Please advise!

I also shows that you have made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium, but the second purchase was cancelled. Make sure that you use the serial number that ends in 7886.
If you are using the correct serial number, then it is likely, that the installer won't recognize your serial number of volume license CS4 as being valid for upgrade.
