b. open utility programs from your system. In Windows Vista or Windows 7, the icon is labeled "Programs & features" or "Uninstall a program" depending on your folder settings. The icon is labeled "Add / Remove Programs" in Windows XP.
c. find your current installation of Java in the list of programs.
d. click on the program name, and then click the "Uninstall" in the bar menu to the top of the screen. In Windows XP, click the "Delete" button that appears next to the program name instead.
e. follow the prompts on the screen to remove the current installation of Java to your computer.
f. restart your computer after that.
Install the current JRE software

b. click on the link titled "Windows 7/XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 offline" and save the file to install JRE on your computer when you are prompted. Close all open windows of the browser once the download is complete.
c. double-click the icon of the installation file downloaded in the previous step.
d. click on 'Install' in the first screen of the installer. Depending on your system configuration, you may be presented with a screen that allows you to install optional software, such as the Yahoo! toolbar, after clicking on "install". Check the box next to the name of any program that you want to install the JRE and then click "next".
e. click 'Close' once the installation process is complete to close the installation program. You correctly reinstalled Java Runtime Environment software.

The most recent (June 2013) Java update caused this problem happen in my Internet Explorer 9. When I encountered this problem during a previous Java updated earlier this year, I managed to fix it by disabling the Java modules, as others have suggested.
I just tried the same solution again and it solved the problem again. Here is the solution I used:
Follow instructions of Tadasha Mithra (see above) in the "method 2" by steps a to c, but instead of stage d - e, I had to do the following instead: "."
d: in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-ons. A window should appear listing your modules. In the drop-down "Show" menu, select "all add-ons". Reload the list of modules in the right pane.
e: scroll down the list until you get to the items listed under «Oracle, America, Inc.» Right click on each of the elements it and select 'Disable'.The only way I could solve this problem in my IE9 was by disabling all the modules related to Java (i.e. by assigning everything that was on the "Oracle America, Inc." to "disabled"). But I'm not very teccy so you should be able to solve the problem by turning off only some of them.
If you are worried about the ability to disable it, you can see these two pages dealing with Java SSV helper doing and whether it is necessary:
Hi Trudelle,
Thanks for joining us again with your answer.
For the particular problem I suggest you follow these methods and check.
Method 1:
I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to fix this sector, all available on which data may be lost
Method 2:
I suggest that you go on the link disable add ons and check. Here is the link for your reference.
Follow these steps:
a. click Start, select all programsand right click on Internet Explorer.
b. Select run as administrator.
c. click on allow in the box user account dialog
d. in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-onsand select Select or Disable Add-ons.
e. here click SSVHelper class and select disable under settings, click on OK.

Error: Java binary has stopped working
Hi, I'm running Windows 7 32 bit, just installed it on a box of Zotac Z a few weeks with 4 GB of RAM. I installed Java yesterday, but any application that requires java does not work. He will always ask an error: Java binary has stopped working. The types of errors were BEX until I added exceptions settings memory for Java.exe. This is the type of error APPCRASH. The error is always stackhash (hashstack?). I have tried to reinstall java several times and also clean restart. Help, please!
Hi, Will,
Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:
Method 1: You can check that Windows DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is not blocking it. You can see the article that explains how to do. However, do not choose the option mentioned in this article (#4). Instead, make sure you have selected the radio button:
Turn on DEP for all programs and Windows services only
Change Data Execution Prevention settings
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-data-execution-prevention-settings
Method 2: You can place the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.
Start your computer in safe mode
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
Method 3: Run the resolution of the problems of compatibility for Java applications
What is program compatibility?

Is the file ' C:\HP\Bin\EndProcess.exe file legitimate?
I have a month HP g6z laptop with Windows 7, 64-bit. My anti-virus (Avast Pro) software has identified a file as a virus, but I suspect that it is a legitimate file from HP. The location/name of the file is: "C:\HP\Bin\EndProcess.exe." Avast Pro indicates the size of the file as bytes 55 296. The virus description is that it is a PUP file.
I don't want to delete the file until I know if it's a legitimate file from HP or a virus.
Thanks, Terry
Hello Terry,
The file is legitimate (to the location that you specify) and is required if you need start a Windows factory reset.
