Error message: 400 bcmwltry.exe errors in an hour

bcmwltry.exe error

I get the error below continuously without interruption. I had a period of 1 hour 414 errors on this subject.

This service is not in the computer management. I did the measures available in the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/sidebyside-errors-in-vista-ultimate/56f6ca3f-a8c3-4345-9de5-008b2e4e97f0 and it did not work (says there was nothing wrong with my computer).

I applied the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 (x 86) and 2005 (by the suggestion of: http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/265324-side-side-error.html )

I upgraded to the Vista SP2 and updated my driver for the internet Dell Wireless. Help, please!

Hello Missy2485,

bcmwltry.exe is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, but is not a Microsoft System file. It's a Broadcom Corporation Wireless Network Tray Applet.

Go to the Task Manager and stop the process or it will consume memory and can cause your computer down.

I would check with Broadcom for additional help.

Sincerely,.

    Hello

    1. do you receive this after you see Start button or entry?

2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

Reference: How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

, Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

If you have not had luck in iTunes (https://discussions.apple.com/community/itunes/itunes_for_windows?view=discussions#/?tagSet=1234) forum, uninstall and reinstall iTunes as described below:

To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.  (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):

    1 iTunes
    2. Apple Software Update
    3. Apple Mobile Device Support
    4 Hello
5 Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

    6. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)

    7. iPod Updater

    8 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete these files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes
    3 QuickTime

Follow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.

    1. Make sure that you have iTunes and iPod Update utility are not open.
    2. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
    3. Select Start Task Manager.
    4. Click the processes tab.
    5. Locate the iPodService.exe in the list.
    6. IPodService.exe-click and choose end process.
    7. Quit Task Manager.

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

NOTE: If you have trouble uninstalling applications, or if you have a problem, reinstall iTunes because the installer complains that it can not uninstall the current version of iTunes, see the 'Installation issues' section below.

Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    Installation problems

There are several tools to deal with problems installing or uninstalling applications.  If you have these problems, the following should help.  Before using one of these tools (including #3), you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

1 Microsoft has a program install and the resolution of the problems of the uninstalling which is supposed to "work better" and be "safer" to use the old Install Cleanup Utility (3 below).

    2. free Revo Uninstaller.  You can also download a trial version of uninstaller Revo's ' Pro', which has a few more aggressive cleaning options, but this should not be necessary.

3 Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup Utility.  Although this tool has been the preferred tool to deal with the problems of Windows Installer, Microsoft removed from Microsoft download servers because it seems sometimes deleted more than he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall).  You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility

  • I get error message 0x7c919af2 sychost.exe 0x00000010

Message: I have windows professional XP and SP3 also internet exploror 8 installed but whenever I try to download the fix it Center Online I get the error message unhandled exception has occurred in the creation of the specified web proxy error in the "proxy system.net/default ' configuration section ' advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated also at the top of the boot from my computer , I get error message 0x7c919af2 sychost.exe 0x00000010 any advice on this would be also greatly appreciated

Why don't you send the error message that is accurate and complete to see you?

Here is a folk remedy for this situation if this is what you see (or similar looking) of svchost.exe:

Application error: the instruction at "0x7c91b21a" referenced memory at "0x00000010". Memory could not be "written".

It seems that the last update for Windows Media Player may contribute to this problem when the system has the Windows Driver Foundation Service active and running.

Unless you write your own drivers for XP and using the Windows Driver Foundation Service to help you debug, you should disable the WDF Service.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to launch the Services Applet

Locate the Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Service, right-click right the Service, select properties and choose disabled and OK your way out of the Services Applet to save the changes.

Note that you will not be able to 'Stop' Service first, but it's OK.

Restart your system (the WDF service is now disabled) and check your failure condition now.

  • I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe.

    original title: error with ehshell.exe

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.

    original title: log question.

When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.  How can I fix?

    Hi KERRYYX,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. What is the full error message that you receive?
    5. Are you able to restart and shut down the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

  • XP stopped working - error message mentions rundll32.exe and activation XP

So in the middle of downloading something last night my Avast anti virus kicks and says something about the files looking for suspects. Immediately, I cancelled the download and was 99% sure that I had deleted all the files wrong. This morning, however, when I turned on my laptop computer it wouldn't let me load XP and came up with an error message of not being able to read the license for windows and needed me to activate it. When I click on 'no' my desktop background loads, but nothing happens when I click 'Yes', load of my wallpaper and a box will appear where I presume he was telling me how to activate it, only nothing loaded. I guess that he should be connected to the internet which, for some reason, he did not and I had no access to anything else; No start button, no task manager, Control Panel No.

Luckily my laptop has been implemented with a dual boot in order to start and use the partition with the original OS that came on the laptop (Vista) to access the XP drive. As the error previous message stated rundll32.exe they advised me to replace it and and then scan with Malwarebyte s Anti Malware and removed all infected files that came. But nothing has changed.

Could I have deleted something that is used in conjunction with the rundll32.exe? If Yes, what? And is there anyway to get it back?

I have read similar problems online and advice has been to start the XP cd to repair or reinstall, but how am I wanted to do when I can not load even XP to access the CD drive?

    Can anyone help?

    Florie

    Hi Florieness,

    · What is the exact error message that you receive with the error code as appropriate?

    · What is the service pack installed on the computer?

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    Try the methods below:

    Method 1:

Try to perform the last good configuration on the computer and check if you are able to boot to the desktop. You can check the link for the steps below: how to start your computer by using last good known Windows XP Configuration: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307852

    Method 2:

If the first method does not work, you can follow the procedure (method 2) from the link below and check off the results: you are prompted to activate Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, each time that you start the computer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312295

To do this, restart your computer and press F8 repeatedly until you get a boot options screen.

You want to use the arrow keys (the mouse doesn't work here) to select "start in safe mode".
