Homepage with/bcmwltry.exe alone. Cannot change user?

I disabled the checkbox on the cache. Now I can't login because I'm an error/bcmwltry.exe. How do I change users so I can re - check cache? I can't do anything. This is what facebook told me to do when I didn't have a gift in my gift box. Stupid of me, I can't have any other user except me and I'm an administrator, but I have another admin also account, how do I get so I can undo what I've done? single woman seeking man alone to work

You can get the default Administrator Windows XP created when you installed everything first, or when it has been installed.

To do this, restart your computer and press F8 repeatedly until you get a boot options screen.

You want to use the arrow keys (the mouse doesn't work here) to select "start in safe mode".

Press ENTER.

You will come to the login screen and see a new administrator account.

Click on it, do not fill in the password and press ENTER.

This SHOULD allow you acess in the computer where you can undo what you did......

  • Control Panel - you cannot change user access privileges

Today visited a customer who was a profile error at startup of Windows 7 (Home Premium).

After a lot of unexpected problems, I found that the built-in Administrator account seemed to be missing (!) but I was able to create a user base at the command prompt, by using "net use XXX / add". Tried to add this user to the Administrators group, but it does not (unfortunately, with no error message).

When I started, I could open the Control Panel, but when I tried to change the new user (for an admin), I was invited for an admin password, but the following option to change the user's privileges did NOT appear. Using the basic account for access to the regedit failed (as you know), but he confirmed that there are a couple of profiles on the machine, which has fewer values than the other.

The cat of the user, it turns out that the PC was a buying opportunity, and he had also been in the hands of another, who had attempted a repair (after a failed upgrade). The user doesn't have to believe that the PC had been through Windows updates in the recent past.

Thus, the result is that there are now 2 user ID Windows on the PC, a (Administrator) who gets an error in profile and a second (standard user) that allows to perform basic operations.

I don't check the 'Guest' Windows built-in account, but I'm sure that (from what I've seen in a few hours) that someone in the past had just set a "standard" on the box and then eventually renamed account built-in "Administrator" as the user name.

I don't like leaving my clients with no answered questions weigh on their PC, but this one has me relatively perplexed.

    My questions are:

-is it possible to rename (or otherwise damage) on behalf of the default Windows administrator?

-which might explain why the control panel will not allow you to change the type of the user?

-If the account are accessible on the PC with administrator privileges has become corrupt, is the only viable solution to proceed to re - install Windows?

    Thanks in advance...!

-is it possible to rename (or otherwise damage) on behalf of the default Windows administrator?

-> Why would you damage the default admin account?

-> Rename an account is superficial. You give only the existing account, a nickname, but the name remains behind.

-which might explain why the control panel will not allow you to change the type of the user?

-> With the help of an ordinary user plans to promote some administrator-level accounts is against the principles of security. This would make the concept of "account administrator" without value. You need to be logged under an administrator account to perform administrative actions.

-If the account are accessible on the PC with administrator privileges has become corrupt, is the only viable solution to proceed to re - install Windows?

-> With a used PC, the only viable option is to perform a destructive factory restore to make the machine 'as new '. It would be dangerous to use the PC in its current state. There could be more that a dog has fleas or virus it could be hacked that will create an interesting situation when the user deals with sensitive information (Internet banking, personal correspondence).

  • CM13: Cannot change users in LDAP mode

With the system set to LDAP authentication, I can't save the changes to the users (initials, company, model, project access). It reports there is an error on the page, but no error is highlighted. I guess that's the field of password it's attack because it is the only area that disappears when you put in LDAP mode. Someone else has come across this or have a work around?

You must disable any password quality control before changing LDAP mode natively. This fix has worked at least for us.

  • When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.

    original title: log question.

When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.  How can I fix?

    Hi KERRYYX,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. What is the full error message that you receive?
    5. Are you able to restart and shut down the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

bcmwltry.exe is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, but is not a Microsoft System file. It's a Broadcom Corporation Wireless Network Tray Applet.

Go to the Task Manager and stop the process, or it will consume memory and can cause your computer down.
To complete the process in the Task Manager, follow these steps:

    b. end of the process(bcmwltry.exe) running in the background

You can also consult with Broadcom for additional help.

  • How can I create a shortcut to "change user" on the desktop using rundll32.exe in Vista Home Premium?

I am trying to create the shortcut to "change user" using rundll32.exewithout to create the shortcut to "lock", only to pass the user. I already know that I have to right click on an empty space on the desktop, press New\Shortcut and type%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,but not after the comma. Type so I can only create the shortcut to "change user" and not the shortcut to 'lock '? (This means that I don't want this: %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation, with LockWorkStation after him.)

Unfortunately, it can be done in your version of Vista (or so they say, hang on a moment.)  I found the article according to that cllaims to do in Vista Basic and Vista Home Premium in addint a file and shows a set of procedures.  As it is a 3rd party file, do so at your own risk. http://www.vistarevisited.com/2008/08/02/create-a-desktop-shortcut-to-switch-users-in-vista/.  NOTE: This is not how you suggested higher, but if it works who cares?

In case you don't want to consider the solution above, you have refused, here is the procedure (how to do it in other versions of Vista):http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/136969-switch-user-desktop-shortcut.html.

  • Cannot change the folder name of the user, i.e. the C:\Users\user name (folder name)

I got a new computer w/Windows 7, but Set - up guy was working on 2 computers and put the wrong name in this machine slot 'username '.  All seeking answers to correct (my machine automatically books with my ADMIN correct name but doesn't let me change an incorrect name in the USER file), I came across this on VISTA.  It also applies to Windows 7?

"What you see is the reference in the"C:\Users\user name"folder. While you can change the registered owner and the name of the user account, you cannot change the name of the folder 'C:\Users\user name'. The only way to do this is to create a new admin account and delete the one in a new. »

If the solution IS identical to that of Vista, the instructions on the following link apply?

Yes, the solution is identical to that of Vista, and apply the instructions at this link.

Create a new account with the correct name and delete the old account.  If you wish, save the old account during erasing files and copy them into the new account.

on windows 7 starter edition how can I open an admin account, I have a standart account and I couldn't open any software on computer please help me.even change user account cannot be opened.

    Hi kuentin,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

    (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

    (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

    (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

    (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

I suggest you go to the link below and read for more information on user accounts.
