error message 8020002e for update kb 2830290

for the last few weeks, we continue to get the update error 8020002e when you try to install the kb 2830290 update.  We tried a number of suggestions published including going to the microsoft Download Center.  We tried to install the stand-alone package for this update from this site.  a message came up saying that the download does not apply to my system.  How can I get rid of the message windows update center says I have this update is ready to download and install.
