Error message - no installed updates

I am trying to install SP2 for my 64 bit system of Vista (already have SP1 installed), and it is not install.  I tried the manual download and it still does not work.  Then tried to download the system error message update tool for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB947821), but then received:

Some updates have not been installed: patch for Windows (KB947821)

No idea how I can get downloaded SP2?

Thank you!

Hi JTG333,

1. What is the error message that you receive during the installation of service pack 2 and system analysis tool?

2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

View the history of display for the details of the failure of the update and after return with details.

(a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programsand then click Windows Update.

(b) in the left pane, click view update history.

(c) to view more information about an update, double-click it.

I suggest that you reset Windows update components and check if it works.
