error message on photosmart 2610 all-in-one

When you open the software of my printer gets a blue screen with error 0x887dc92e.  Please help can not use software and printer closing off does not help... all solutions

OS is xp, I found a solution to the problem, I went to my computer, icon of the memory card offline hp and that solved.  Thank you for your response.   appreciate it

    These measures appear to be in place. Have you, you click on apply after you have changed these settings.

    You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers. This will reset all back.

  • Any error when printing with HP Photosmart 2610 all-in-one

    My trusty printer I've had for 5-6 years suddenly shows an error message when I try to print.  There are no codes or descriptions that allow me to try to isolate the error, just 'mistake' in the print queue.  I tried various different print files, restarted, I unplugged and restarted etc but without any luck.

    Can someone enlighten us or offer some suggestions?

    First of all, in the Apple (top left of your screen) menu run software: over and over until that there is no more.  You should be to 10.6.6.

    I bought my printer all-in-one HP Photosmart 2610 in 2005. It has already been installed on a HP laptop, Windows XP computer, and worked all the features.

    When I run the printer of the Panel as an administrator, the printer properties / device watch manual duplex settings: enabled.  When I go to the printer properties / Advanced / impression of the default values, or the finish / Print On Both Sides checkbox is available nor printing Shortcuts tab will allow the option Print On Both Sides to appear (shows that Print On Both Sides: Off).

    I chatted with a HP technician online today.  I had the same problem with Vista, not to recognize the Manual 2 sides print.  His solution was to add a new printer, the HP Deskjet 6500.  This works!

    Go to control panel, hardware and sound, add a printer, add a local printer, select port to use, select HP Deskjet 6500, following, then select if you want whether it is your default printer and then click Next.

    Two back will be available when you select the Deskjet 6500 as your printer, even if you actually use your HP 2610.

    Worked fine on Leopard now with Snow Leopard print works but no fax or scanning.

    The printer is connected to a Time Capsule via USB

    I think the problem is that the scan is not supported when connected via USB to an airport.   It's the same situation as Leopard.  It is not supported scanning via a USB connection to the airports.     This is a limitation of the airport, only printing is supported via USB port connections.

    As test, connect your Photosmart 2610 directly on your Mac with USB cable - print and scan times should work correctly.

    I had problems to download the driver package and help to reinstall my printer after doing a recovery on my PC.  When I downloaded the package from the HP site it would not install after that I turned on my printer for Setup connect with the printer.  So I did what is obvious and allowed Windows 7 to install the drivers for me.  However, the aid package that allows me to scan from my printer to my PC have not been installed by Windows 7.  Research of the HP page still yet I discovered that the aid package cannot be downloaded separately without drivers.  I need to use my scan function yesterday.  Someone at - it an option that I can use to correct the to this problem please?

    Looks like that the installer does not work correctly. Follow the steps below and let me know what happens?

     

    First step: clear temp directory

    1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field
    2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
    3. Proceed to step 2 below

    Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

     

    1 download the drivers and full software features

    Note: Go to HP customer careand then enter your printer model. Download full feature software and driver and then follow the remaining steps below. If your product does not have the uninstall_l4 so please let me know what printer you have and the operating system you are using.

    2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

    3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

    4. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

    5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    6. right click on the folder and select copy

    7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

    8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

    9 open the Util folder

    10 open the CCC folder

    11 start the uninstall_L4 (.bat or .exe)

    12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

    14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

    I will not erase and returned just if I disconnect power and reconnect it.

    This could be the highlight of death for your printer.  There is still a reset, you can try called a partial reset.

    To make a partial reset:

    1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug the power cord into the wall, but are not reconnect the printer again.
    6. Press and hold the 3 and # buttons on the printer.
    7. While maintaining the 3 and # buttons, plug in the printer.
    8. As soon as the lights turn on, release the buttons.

    If the partial reset doesn't fix it, you will need to get a new printer.

    I have a problem with my HP 6280 All in One Printer. There are a few problems and it's really annoying, I wonder if anyone can prove useful please?

    I uninstalled the software and drivers for the Photosmart series C6200 of the site, and when re installation, the software starts uninstalling itself and gives the following message:

    "Error - wstub 197370'

    "Fatal error during Installation"

    And then starts to uninstall the entire software package and then request to restart to uninstall complete.

    Once restarted, the whole scenario goes in a loop that is the uninstall process? Very confusing indeed and have never experienced this kind of problem before!

    I searched our database for "error - wstub 197370' and did not find anything related, but I found some documents related to"Fatal error during Installation"errors." Here is a document that can help - Displays A 'fatal error' during HP Software Installation (Windows).

    I'll try to uninstall the software and printer drivers. Click here if you need help with uninstalling.

    Then I would erase the temp directory.

    1. tap folder in the field "search programs and files".

    2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove.

    Once removed to close all windows and restart the computer.

    When the computer restarts, download and install the latest version of the software and the printer drivers.

    This may be a problem with ports,

    Please click on start and then click on devices and printers and then right-click on the Photosmart 3210 printer and click printer properties. In the printer properties window, click the ports tab and check if the selected ports is with the IP address of the printer also check if it is the WSD port. If the selected port is not the one with the IP address of the printer, select one with the IP address of the printer and also make sure that it's not a WSD port and the TCP/IP port. If a selected port type is WSD, select Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of the printer. If you can't find any port in the list with the IP address of the printer, and then click Add port and then select TCP/IP Standard and enter the IP address of the printer in the address field and add the port and then click on apply and then try to print.

    If the problem persists even after ensuring that the selected port is with the printer IP address o FLE, then try disabling the firewall installed on your computer (if any) software and then try to print.
