Photosmart C6380 all-in-One - printer error message question

I have a HP Photosmart C6380 all-in-One printer.  It worked well for a number of years, but last year, whenever I want to print something, the orange light blinks and an error message is displayed in the window.  It is said: ' Please Oxc19a0035 turn printer off, then on.  If - before the printer print, I must turn off first and then on again.  It's more boring, to say the least.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can solve this problem?  Thank you, Ms. Dahlia

    2. have you checked if the HP printer is compatible with the version of the operating system that you are using?
    3. do you get an error message when you try to install the driver?
    4. what all troubleshooting have you tried?

    I have and have used several times my HPOfficejet j4680 wireless all-in-One printer to print. But this past week it will not print. I keep getting error messages that says that it is offline or turned off. But the green power light is on. The blue wireless light is turned on. And the date & time is common and pulled down on the front.

    2. What is the full and exact error message?

    I suggest to set up the computer in a clean boot state and then try to download the driver manually.

    Sorry to hear about installation on Windows 8.1 for your C6380 problems, this document you got information about the file extension is usually the fix.

    I found that many new computer Windows 8.1 come pre-loaded with McAfee, is the Anit-Virus on your computer? If so, disable it, and then try to install the software. I had good results with this step in the past.

    If it's not installed anti-virus software, what is?

    Make sure that your print spooler service is started.

    At this point, on your computer, check the status of the print spooler service. Restart the print spooler services.

    a. Click Start, type services.msc and press ENTER.
    b. scroll down to print spooler.
    c. start the print spooler service.

    My HP Photosmart C6380 all-in-One has a problem with the print jobs that fail intermittently to print the first time that I send it to the printer.  I can see the print job listed in the queue, but it fails to print.  I might have to send the job once again, twice or 3 times before it will finally print.

    Try to stop and start the print spooler. I will include the instructions below.

    1. click on the start menu.
    2. in the search box, type services.msc and press enter on the keyboard.
    3 scroll to find print spooler.
    4. Select the print spooler in the list.
    5. on the left side of the window, you should see the words stop and restart in blue letters. Click on stop.
    6. now it say start. Click Start.
    7. close the window.

    If this does not work, try to bypass the print spooler. I will include the instructions below.

    1. click on the start menu.
    2 click devices and printers.
    3. right click on your printer.
    4. Select printer properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab.
    6. make sure that "Print directly to the printer" is checked.
    7. click on apply to save the changes.
    8. click OK to close the window.

    If it still does not work, go back and set the printer to use the spooler again. After that, try to assign the printer to use a different driver. The link below will take you to these instructions. Let me know what happens.
