error message please insert a blank disc into CD Drive (E :). when burning using WMP 11 in XP
Original title: error message
Please help someone
OK, I tried everthing, I use windows xp
Last week I updated my windows media player and now I have WMP 11 (sucks). Before I did the new update I could burn c.ds very well. But now I get an error message saying: Please insert a blank disc into CD Drive (E :). Once WMP detects a new disc, it will start automatically hot. I tried so many new CD I stop purchase. So I wait a minute until I see it have detected a blank cd (on the left it shows blank disc then try again, but I can't burn data or audio discs.) I try a few things about fixing the problem as uninstall WMP 11 but it is still on my computer - could someone help me.
Thanks for the reply
But who doesn't have everything he has told me that I didn't have a cd/dvd was not able when just before I installed the update WMP 11 he burned cds very well helped. Is there a way I can reinstall my old version?

Hi, we are currently running Windows XP SP3. My daughter tries to download a song from Windows Media Player, she needs for her class dance. It just download the song bad by accident without problem. Now she's trying to download the song using the same CD (CD - R80) and it gives sound this error: «Please insert a blank disc in the CD drive (E :).» Once Windows Media Player detects a new disc, it will start automatically burning." Someone please help. She needs this to practice his senior dance solo.
As I understand it, the CD was already burned once, and now she's trying to burn on the same CD again? This is not possible, as the CD - Rs can only be burned once. She will need a new blank CD - R, like the error message.

I have a new desktop computer Dell 9010. The CD/DVD drive is 16 x DVD-ROM SATA. When I insert a CD with files it contains with free space, it says that I need more free space. It does not recognize free space. (free 0 bytes)
When I insert a blank disc the message is "Please insert a new disc. The drive doesn't recognize free space on a disk. It's the same thing with discs CD - R and CD - RW (52 X and 12 X respectively).

Was not aware there is a problem until I tried some recently audio and data CDs. Have you tried different Web sites to help you, however some of the directions come with a warning that by following certain procedures I can create other problems. The FixIt tool was not able to install the player.
Hello
Please ALL these even if you've done it before as it's often the total process that
solves the problem. You should also check with the system manufacturer as some readers do not use windows
by default the drivers and need their own, use the bottom and if no joy check on the site of the manufacturer of the system.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

SE error message "Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close" when you use Acrobat Reader
Original title: golfer188
When I try to load or use Acrobat Reader, I get a message that Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close. The problem seems to be related to the fix to windows installation I get a message asking if the patch installation is correct or who are permitted. If I try to remove Acrobat Reader I get the same message and deletion does not continue. If I try to download a new Acrobat Reader installation stops with a message that Acrobat Reader is already installed. What should do?
Try this program because it is very good at removing stubborn programs.

I'm running Vista Ultimate, but my scanner is not working properly. I was told to download Virtual PC 2007 and run the scanner using my old opeatring XP system. I downloaded Virtual PC and it my new system in place, but when I went to install XP using my disk upgrade Xp Home edition, an error message indicates that the disk was not valid.
You cannot use a disk/license update of XP in a Virtual Machine.
You need a Full Disk/license XP that isn't a Licence(pre-installed by the Computer Manufacturer) OEM from another computer.
See you soon.

I tried to run them in compatibility mode, using all variants. and also I tried soome of advice from the help article about the disk drivers. game discs are clean and one striped.
Why can I install the program and access the drive to use the files it contains, but then not use the disk?

This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true:

Hi mguttman,
It is possible that you may need to date/reinstall the driver for your CDROM. If you access the website of the manufacturer of your computer, you should be able to download for free here.

The account used for the converter must be able to log on as a service. This can be set in the local security on the VC server policy.
