  If you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) you can try to disable temporarily for a few minutes, visit a secure site (for example https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird), download and check. See also this.

  Specific advice Apple seem to be uninstall QuickTime, it should no longer be necessary and has a few potential security vulnerabilities. See Uninstall QuickTime 7 for Windows - Apple Support.
