  I have a computer that cannot connect to the internet. It is connected to a LAN line through a switch that has another computer on it. The other computer works fine. The computer in question says it is connected but when I try to open IE I get the unable to load the page.  Outlook also connects and the computer does not connect to our domain controller. When I run the windows diognostic, I get the error "the remote device or resource accepts the connection detected.  I was looking on the forums and tried everything I found. I have reset the settings of Internet Explorer and unchecked the proxy server box.  I tried to replace the switch and the CAT5, even if the other computer on the switch works fine, so it isn't a problem with the hardware. I'm out of ideas.

  So, I restored my Toshiba PC to its factory for another question settings, I tried to solve. I searched for hours all the different suggestions and none of them does not seem to work. When I plug the Ethernet cable, it does not work.
