Error of measurement Studio 2010 FxCop: location of Assembly reference OR

Hello

Please look at the snapshot attached for more details.  Basically, I have a project of Measurement Studio update, and I'm running FxCop on the compiled dll.  FxCop is looking for an older version of the NI.Common.dll that is referenced by OR. DAQmx.dll.

Current versions of DLLs OR on the system:

NationalInstruments.Common.dll - 9.0.35.362

NationalInstruments.DAQmx.dll - 9.1.35.15

Version of FxCop is looking for referenced by NationalInstruments.DAQmx - 8.9.35.302

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you!

-J

Long story short, I advanced and uninstalled everything related to OR through the MsiBlast tool that I found on a different thread.  It turns out that some drivers were looking uninstall .msi files on a network drive that have since been moved to a different location.  Currently waiting for resettlement of Measurement Studio and I hope it will solve all my problems.  So I guess I'll consider cela a closed thread for now.  Thanks for all the help!

  • problem reading DAQmx using Measurement Studio 2010 (even with examples OR)

    Hi all

I'm reading the voltage using a map of NOR-DAQ-6211 with Measurement Studio 2010 SP1 V9.1.0.204. using Visual Basic .net 2010.
When I create the task of data acquisition with the measurement studio Wizard, (Assistant DAQ) everything works fine. However, when I try to create my own task player in looking over the "ContAcqVoltageSamples_IntClk" everything I read is a value in the range of Vmin to Vmax (or to Vmin Vmax) and then she stays there no matter if I change my diet. Vmin and Vmax does not yet match my values of voltage. (It acts like that on my application and example of OR) I guess I missed a few initial settings. The config of AIChannel in two projects (manual task and Augo-Gen) use AIChannelConfig.RSE (I tried other options, but no luck).

The only wiered thing is that when I open examples of projects, VS does not recognize the object references of NOR. Workspace names DAQmx. When I check the references, it shows that it does not find the reference to NI.Common. To make it work/compilation, removed from the solution and I again added. (I don't think this is related, as it seems that there are available tensions but not read correctly).

The other thing is that my input voltage is 3 or 0 volt. When you use the manual DAQtask, when I toggle the voltage, the values displayed change momentarily the order of 0.001 Volts and then go back to their previous values of Vmax and Vmin.

Is there more information I can provide?

    Help, please
    Thank you

Yay! I just solved my problem,

From the first moment I knew there was something fishy about this AITerminalConfig thingy! I made two errors:

    1. in the code example Configuration AI is encoded: CType (-1, AITerminalConfiguration) that caused the code example does not work for all channels to HAVE it

2 - also, I have in my code, I had put this config to the correct value, but I was checking ai0 all the time while the signal was on another I. I was under the impression that since the example does not work for all my channels, then probably my code does not work as well.

If after changing the line in the example for the correct terminal configuration settings, he began working for the AI number I was looking for too much and I found that my code worked for my AI # correctly from the beginning. I wasn't just to see it!

  • NI5105 digitizer and Measurement Studio 2010

Hi I'm new here. I have a problem that needs your help.

My company just bought a PCI-5101 digitizer of NOR, we want to continually read an output signal of all 8 channels of this device for our project.

Our project is under Microsoft VS 2010 and .net Framework 4. But I understand that your only support .net NI Scope libraries Microsoft VS 2008, .net 3.5 Frame.

My question is: what should I do? Can Measurement Studio 2010 (.net 4 framework) do the work for the acquisition of data for me?  I want to ensure that it can before buying

the Studio of the action on your part.

    Thank you.

You're right in that .NET OR-Scope libraries take in charge VS 2008 and .NET 3.5. There is a workaround to use VS 2010, but you should always use the .NET framework 3.5.

Basically, you can install the .NET OR-SCOPE 1.1.1 class library on you machine to install the samples. You will then open them in VS 2010, forcing them through a conversion process. Once in VS 2010, you need to remove the reference to NationalInstruments.Common, as it references the 4.0 framework. You will then add the NationalInstruments.Common reference for the 3.5 framework. Then, the program will be able to compile. I was able to verify this and was able to run the FetchForever example with a simulated scope device.

That being said, it is not officially supported, and I'm not sure when support for .NET 4.0 and VS 2010 will be added. But if you agree .NET 3.5 programming, you should be able to program in VS 2010 with the 5101.

  • management studio 2010 measurment PID control?

    Hello my friends.

I am a .NET developer. I am new NI Measurment Studio 2010.

as you know LabView has a PID and fuzzy Logic toolbox. now my question is this:

measurment studio 2010 supports the PID?

I mean how can we use the PID and fuzzy logic function and/or .NET 2008 libraries (if Possible)?

If it is not possible with measurment studio, how and where can I find that libraries (PID for .NET)?

    Thanks for any help...

NOR have a PID for .NET library. If you have a license for the CVI and CVI PID Toolkit, you can call in these libraries you .NET app. Or you can do the same thing with LV by creating a .NET interop assembly.

  • Visual Studio 2010 Side By Side error invalid XML syntax

I spent much of last week trying to research and make changes of trial and error to solve this problem, and nothing has helped. I am full of ideas. I get exactly the same results on all programs, on which I worked in Visual Studio. I also had it on Visual Studio once, forcing me to have to reinstall Visual Studio to correct.

    The question:

I have just published a new i7 Windows 7 x 64 system base to replace my old system of Windows 7 x 32 i3. They both have the latest patches and the latest .NET until 4.5.2. I also use Visual Studio 2010 with all the patches except service pack 1 (although I tried at a time with the service pack and it made no difference). I also tried 4.6.1, .NET and it made no difference. This new system is brand new, with very little installed outside Microsoft Office, SQL Server 2012 Management Studio and Visual Studio 2010, Windows 7.

For these past years, I've worked on 6 programs different here (so far), and we use TFS for source code control. On the new system, I lower the code and it compiles properly for all solutions. I can run the programs of many times without any problem and the event logs show any problem of their execution.

Then, after restarting the system, none of the program will run. When I try to run one of them, I get immediately a dialog modal system indicating that the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.

When you look at the event log, I always get the following error next message:

Activation context generation failed for "[program]". Manifest error or the folder policy "[program] .exe." Configuration"on line 1. Invalid Xml syntax.

NOTE: replace [program] with the path + name of the given program.

I use the system generated 'by default' unmodified manifest files. I tried to review them and files config in XMLNotepad, and no problem was indicated, except in the manifest, he noted that the first schema referenced file assembly.adaptive.xsd which was not anywhere.

When you review the configuration file, the line in question is:

The original line of the app.config from which it is copied is:

If I remove the encoding = "Windows-1252" part, the program runs without incident, although .NET puts the right encoding of part in the first run. I tried to put the udf-8 coding and .NET simply replaces the encoding with the above value at the start of the program. After a reboot, it is unable to run again for the same reason, until I have change the configuration again. This isn't a solution long term for production code!

If I change the project settings and disable the Click Once security settings and set the project do not generate a manifest, then he works constantly (several tracks to try again and several restarts without incident). However, I use Click Once to deploy updates, so it's not a useful alternative to long term because at the time wherever I try to publish to Click Once, it changes the security settings of full trust automatically and generates a manifest, triggering the problem even once. This also causes the advertised program with the same problem for everyone who gets the update.

These programs all compiled and ran on my old system without incident, even after multiple system restarts. They also have deployment click once without problem, and the click once deployment took place without incident.

It is as if .NET does not recognize the encoding "Windows-1252". And, since the only real difference between my old and new systems is the former is x 32 and the new is x 64, so I think it has something to do with the x 64 version. But that is only a guess.

My new system is essentially unusable as a system of development because of this problem at the present time.

  • Debug button is missing (and can't debug the application by shortcuts) + other errors in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010

For some reason, the Debug button is missing in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. The other buttons that are supposed to run your program are missing as well and pressing on F5 does nothing, so I can't debug my application. The other stuff are still there, it's just that the buttons that the Debug program are missing (other ways do not work as well).

You can get a faster response or better if you like in one of the dedicated Microsoft forums Visual Studio here:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/visualstudio .

    Thank you.   :)

(I'm sorry, but I can't move this thread for you because the two forums are working on separate platforms)
