Error opening file directory Oracle
Is my Oracle 11 g Linux databaseI am tempted to use the file in directory Oracle sitting on a Windows Server.
I get the following error message when you try to access the file.
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEOPEN legend
ORA-29400: data cartridge error
Error opening file \\bbsftp01\SSH_Homes\governet/COURSE_ATTR_4891.log
It seems that he thinks that the file sits on a Linux server and so embarks on the slash ' / '... Can someone help me please?
Thank you
Jae
The key here is
I am tempted to use the file in directory Oracle sitting on a Windows Server.
Windows is interoperable with Linux? Linux includes UNC?
Do not think and do not believe.
Using Samba on Windows Server and NFS did you mount this directory on the Linux server.
If you have not it isn't going to work. Apart from that: Windows can deal with forward slashes, so this isn't the problem.

I come with a message "error opening file for writing" C:docume~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\OpenCandy\OCSetupHlp.dll, as I am trying to install a program.
Any ideas what is happening?
Thank you
Hi and thanks for your time.
The program was an application to create your own music
I don't have any problem installing other applications programs...
The solution was a scan with malware bytes who discovered infected with the registry data.
So I deleted it and after running a lot on the line scans, I deleted the program, I wanted to install.
Everything is still better then...

I downloaded the latest version of the DNG Converter Camera Raw version 9.1.1 for windows. However, I get error install the update saying "error opening file for writing. Also on my help menu updates is not active?
If the installation program itself fails to open and run. Download it again maybe your current download is corrupted. Also, what OS you are using and you are an administrator with permission to install.

Error opening file on all native projects SpeedGrade 2014/2015
OK, it's frustrating and infuriating.
I had to have my computer re-formatted, installed Win7 Ultimate and tried to get to the place where I 'was '. But at the present time, if I'm in 2014 Sg (build 8.0x141) or the new generation of 2015, I can't get any format/codec images to display a thumbnail in the browser "Desktop" of Sg and nothing added to the mounting area section just says "error opening file".
Both will be run between a link Direct process.
What the...! ?
Neil
I eliminated the ability of my media Speedgrade browser to show images trying to simulate (without entering the stage to add anything to the timeline)
my media browser has been set to "sequences in the selected folder" and even if everything was showing according to the normal and me thinking as "sequences in the selected folder" was not what I had and going through the set up/view/format by default/coils/color space default - my media browser deleted
Then, I chose "sequences of selected folder + subtree" and I found the ability to see my sequences of dng
now I will go back to "sequences in the selected folder" and the files reappear
I see not an MP4 Player until I select "all files", but I can put it on a timeline without error

I just got a new Macbook Pro and upgraded to CS6 two weeks ago. I had problems to open files:
So I asked to switch me to CC.
Guess what? Always get the error message. I just changed this file yesterday without problem.
My deadline is now. WTH is happening?
Approval seems odd, but I'm not a Mac user, so someone else will tell you how to change.

«.. . not a Photoshop document valid"error opening file cc Mac on PC
I get an error "Could not complete your request because it is not a Photoshop document valid." message every time I try to open a PSD file created on a Mac using Photoshop on my PC using CC CC. Other people have been able to open the file in the same place, so that the files are not corrupt. Someone knows how to fix this?
I know this thread is a bit old, but I wanted to share my experience and solution in case anyone else runs into this.
The other day, I spent many hours editing the photos for a client. I saved all and closed from Photoshop. When I tried to open the. PSD, they came all this "Not a valid Photoshop document" error. I capotais. I saw the thunmbnails and previews with the Mac OS Finder and could see the images in Lightroom, but couldn't open them in Photoshop CC.
Finally, I remembered that they were NOT supposed to be .psd files! They were supposed to be the TIFFs. What happened was, when I edited coming in Lightroom in Photoshop, they opened as TIFF. However, when I did ' save under ', I wanted to name them in the same way to other files that I had. I clicked on one of the existing files to copy the name of the file in the Save dialog box as to make it easier to name the new file that I kept, but I didn't know it was change the name extension ".tif" to ".psd" file as well. The older MacOS (version 9 or earlier) do not rely on file extensions fo identification file types, so it didn't hit me right away this would be the problem. When I changed the extension of bad .psd file in .tiff, open files in Photoshop very well.
Then... If you encounter this not "a valid Photoshop document" error, try to find out if it is actually another type of file (.jpg, .tif, .png, etc.) by getting the information from another file program or just experiment with different file extensions. Chances are good that your file is not actually corrupt, but just named incorrectly!

Very well. Sorry to hear that. I have no experience with fixing corrupt PSDs, though I'm afraid I won't be much help.
Do you have any form of backup?

13.0.2 update of / error opening file .psd
Hello
I applied the Mac Photoshop CS6 13.0.2 update this morning, but now I can't open my .psd working paper one more, Photoshop triggers a "could not complete your request because of a program error" message every time. I tried to open it on a different workstation, a Windows, run Photoshop CS5 12.0.4 and it's good, which means that my .psd file is not damaged.
I tried to disable the Photoshop extensions from the extensions Manager, but the problem persists. Do you know if riding 13.0.1.1 version is possible?
Thank you

An update to fix this was released late last night. Details here: http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2012/12/photoshop-13-0-313-1-1-updates-now-availabl.html

Error opening file with adobe 10 update
I saved a file as a "spreadsheet tables", .xml, using Adobe pro 9. My Adobe has been updated to 10 Pro and now I can't open the file. I get an error indicating that a problem with the loading of the table. Y at - it a patch?
Acrobat cannot open .xml files. If you have saved data on a worksheet that was created from a pdf file, you need a program that will open this xml file. You must open it in the appropriate spreadsheet.

Error opening files which contain 'CR '...
Well, then it's the strangest thing.
I can not open all files that have the "CR" in the name of the file or the path of the file. It is only with "CR" (Yes, capital only). It doesn't matter whether at the beginning, middle or end of the file name or path of the file. The file may be on the desktop or inside a folder containing RC on it, it doesn't matter.
Is the error I get when I try to open these files "before you proceed you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the end user license agreement" and I have only option 'OK '. If I open Adobe Reader I am never asked to accept the EULA. I checked my registry, the EULA is on (accepted). Please help, this is ridiculous!
Many files that I download to work have the letters "CR" on this... It's a pain to have to rename each and every one of them. Help, please!
Furthermore, I am running Adobe Reader X 10.1 and it happens to EVERYONE in my office... It happens to any of you? Just try to rename a file in CR and see what happens. Thank you in advance for your help!
This problem has been fixed in the latest update. See notes for details of publication. Thank you Adobe.

Hi, I have a colleague working on prem pro CC and I'm working on CS6.
When I try to open his files, I get a message saying that the project is damaged and cannot be opened.
Is it because she's on CC and I'm on CS6? Should I upgrade? Or is it a separate issue?
Secondly if I update I will be able to always open and working on all my projects created in CS6?
Thank you.
Is it because she's on CC and I'm on CS6?
Yes.
CC7 projects cannot be opened in previous versions of first.
Secondly if I update I will be able to always open and working on all my projects created in CS6?
Yes.
First CC7 can open projects created in CS6 and earlier versions.

For two days, when I click on about 50 percent of my directories, a screen popped up with a support (already installed) program... I deleted this program, and then she appeared with my research program. I can get around this by doing a right click of my mouse clicking: "Open" or "explore". I have SpyBotted and virus-checked, but no solution. Any suggestions? Thank you very much

Error opening pdf file, but then it still opens
I have problems when I open a pdf file. I use the code below to open a pdf file.
on mouseUp me
Acro = bafindapp ("pdf")
If acro = empty then
acrofile = me.pPDF
alert 'this program was unable to find suitable for your system software to open a PDF document. It will open www.adobe.com, where you can download a free viewer.
goToNetPage " " http://www.Adobe.com "
on the other
Open the moviePath me.pPDF & "Resource\" with acro
end if
endWhen it comes on a button, adobe reader software will open, but gives an error stating that "there was an error opening this document. This file is not found. »
When I hit the button on the advice of the error, the PDF opens. No idea why I get this message even if the pdf file opens after rejecting the message would be appreciated.
The reason why I assumed, or asked, if it was only Windows is due to your use of the forward slash as the separator file. To make the cross-platform script try the following:
on mouseUp me acro = baFindApp("pdf") if ( acro = EMPTY ) then alert "This program was unable to find a suitable program on your system to open a PDF document. It will open www.adobe.com, where you can download a free viewer" goToNetPage "http://www.adobe.com" else mPath = _movie.path tFile = mPath & "Resource" & mPath.char[length(mPath)] & me.pPDF if baFileExists(tFile) then OK = baOpenFile(tFile, "normal") if ( OK < 32 ) then -- see docs for numbers and their meaning alert "Error opening file:" && OK end if else alert "File not found:" &RETURN& tFile end if end ifend

Hi, I used Director to make an interactive CD for a company that I worked for both 10 years. I'm currently trying to devise a way where a user can open a pdf file or what ever file they choose in a menu on the screen - not only with the help of an open a file dialog box - but no matter what I do, it just works. I copied the xtra in the same directory as the films, I was trying to open the movies using this just for experimentation - I thought that if anything it would work, it does not...
I copied and pasted this command directly from the pages of the help file for the Xtra
-mouse click
-object.openFile (Probes.dir, 1).
-endHe comes back with this error message...
Operator EXPECTED
object. ? OpenFile (nameoffile.dir, 1)
Do not know what is happening... I wish I kept the older interactive cd...
Do you condemn back!
You don't have to create an instance of Buddy API to use its methods - they are "globally" available:
on mouseUp me tFile = the moviePath & "HeartStyle_Y360_flyer.pdf" returnedValue = baOpenFile( tFile, "maximised" ) if returnedValue < 32 then alert "Error opening file:" && returnedValue end if end

My client uses Windows Search to help track the files in a fairly large groups. Indexing and everything seem to work very well, but when the user performs a search, it returns the information that are expected, but when you click on some of the files that it generates this error:
"Cannot find 'file:///s:/XXXXX/XXXXXX.pdf'. "Make sure that Internet address or pat is correct.
(where XXXX/XXXX are the path and name, of course. It varies and is not a specific place, or all in the same places is originally the same error)
Varies depending on the issue and the only consistency I've found is than that error all tend to share the same name of 'Owner' and those who work divides different. Yet once again, the 'owners' vary. When browsing directly on the elements, following the exact path in error, the files open fine. In our case, 's:' is a mapped network share, but which seem to be the question either, as the other files in the search located on the same mapped share and in the same directory path work very well.
To make it even more confusing, the search of all works perfectly on another computer. All users have the same access right, reading/writing/execution, in the cases in question. The file doesn't seem to be open and in-use by other users.
The system in question is running Windows XP Professional SP3 and is connected to a domain active directory running Windows Server 2003. We have tried to do, and it did not help.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for anything that can help you!
