  Greetings,

  When I did my taxes last year (March 2012), I downloaded PDFs of the IRS.  Form 1040 was an accessible file for writing, and I filled the need.  This file was saved on a Vista on XP machine.  A few months ago, I upgraded this pc for Windows 7 SP1.

  Today, I'm about to do my taxes for this year.  When I double click on Form1040.pdf of last year, I get the following error message:

  There was an error opening this document.  Access denied.

  Interestingly, I can open other files pdf, as the form 1040 Instructions.  I don't think I have my Form1040.pdf password protected.  The reason I think that it is not password protected is because I'm not be prompted to enter a password.

  I copied the file in an old detached machine XP (XP Home Edition, version 2002, SP3) I have and it opens fine.  He did not ask for a password.  I have printed copies of forms of year last of this XP machine, so this isn't an emergency for me, but it's slightly annoying that I can't understand what is wrong.

  I have Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.2 installed on two machines (the Windows 7 machine and the old XP machine).

  To sum up, it was created on Vista, I can't open it with Windows 7, but I can open it with XP.

  Normally I would consider loading the file in question, but in this case, I hope you agree that maybe it's a bad idea!

  Tips to make it work on Windows 7 would be appreciated.

  Access denied means that there is a kind of permission issues.  Check the permissions for your user id in this file.

  I understand that I will need to go through all the post before posting anything (and I googled and searched as well) but I really tried everything, they suggested in the mail but nothing works. I tried to reinstall the program it downgrade from version XI to 9. But really nothing works. I can't copy and paste else the file, the file will be having this error message (access denied), but if I copy/paste, it has no problem at all. Does anyone have a solution for this?

  Indeed, it is a strange thing!  The only difference between copy and paste and cut/paste is not the original file will remain or deleted in the original folder.  There will be no problem of permission using the two methods.

  Depending on your file system, you should be able to see the permissions of files by right-clicking on it, properties, and then select the Security tab.  See also http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/acl_set_per missions.mspx

  How do you open the file by double-clicking on it?  Is that what you can open the file if you open Adobe Reader first, open, and select this file?

  After the registration of PDF files in my files, I am unable to re - open. I am also unable to re - open the PDF files that are saved on drives shared by other users. This occurs regardless if I'm the person who created the PDF, or if I save it from a source such as an attachment. I am able to use Acrobat to open the files, but I shouldn't use Acrobat to open the files. Reader to open these files. No idea why the drive is not open files?

  Try this, open Reader & Acrobat access to the Edit menu > Preferences > advanced security > disable "enable the Mode protected at startup.

  I use the level of privilege 15.2 and in this version, that I can not get the startup-config under some of IOS (in this case, IE 7)

  I have no problem to get it from the earlier version, also to 15.1

  With the help of 4414 262136 bytes

  privilege level exec 15 see the configuration

  show privileges exec level 1

  When I added cmd ' privilege exec level 7 show startup-config ', IOS generated automatically new line "privilege exec 15 level show configuration.

  seems that there must be an "improvement" under versions of 15.2

  I have faced the same problem and opened a folder. Please find the answer I get from the TAC:

  This is designed by design as a security measure. Starting in the new versions of IOS, the privilege level of access to system files must be configured separately. There are two options to solve this problem:

  (1) run the command at the prompt to activate it.

  (2) set the privilege level of the file system via the config command "file privilege X" with X the number of privilege level

• EEM script to check running-config startup-config changes after reloading

  I'm trying to follow a bug that causes some CLIs to disappear from the running-config after you reload the router.

  The LCIs were saved in the startup-config before reloading the router.

  Is there an EEM to compare the running-config startup-config online with after reload of the router and syslog lines that are missing from the running-config?

  You could do something simple like:

  Event Manager applet config compare

  event timer cron cron-entry "@reboot".

  command action 1.0 cli 'enable '.

  cli 2.0 action command "show archive config diff nvram:startup - config system: running-config.

• Raspberry Pi Permission Denied Errror

  I was running my first MIDLet and I got this exception:

  One of the videos mentioned that the javame8ea/bin/usertest.sh script should be preceded with "sudo".  I'm not like a lot this time are you in this lesson, you used early AMS on the invoice, pro forma with sudo?

• Select permission denied on RPD

  I am mapping data in my file of RPD and cannot not row data or view up-to-date account for almost all of my tables in the database.

  I am obiee 11 g running on my local machine connected to a sql server database.

  The error I get is "Select permission denied on object... ». I spoke with the DBA and I should have sufficient privileges for my project.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  My guess is that you have not permission to query the table. It has nothing to do with the administration tool.

  You can query this table in SQL SERVER STUDIO... Let me know you conclusions...

  If you look in the error for this XPCComponents.classes error Console, there should be a Source file: chrome: / / address that could give us information which extension is causing this message.

  I have the following simple running a Matlab script in Labview.

  When I run the now from Matlab everything works fine. When I run this LabVIEW so I get the following error:

  I use Matlab 2015 and LAbview 2015 in a 64-bit windows computer 7.

  For those who have the same permission denied errors, I found the solution.

  I had to specify the current working directory in the matlab script (this is the directory to which you saved your LAbview VI).

  For example, if you have saved your labview vi to C:\Example_Folder

  then you must add the following command in your matlab script node before the command that causes the error

  CD (' c:/Example_Folder')

  I seem to be yet another victim of 'trust Tamper store', 'Windows 7 build 6701 this copy of Windows is not genuine,' 'Non-genuine Windows,' problem.  (Error code 0x80070005)  Win7 Pro, Lenovo OEM - had reloaded to "factory condition" on 2 new discs of hard without any problem.  This time he managed without problem for almost a year.  I applied all updates from MS just after 'Microsoft Update/patch Tuesday", on 21 and 22 April and checked several times thereafter:"up to date ".  Everything was fine for more than a week. During the race, my desktop went black (no picture, but the icons & files remained) and the non-genuine warning appeared in the lower right.  I checked MS Update (again, nothing).  I've not originally clicked on the links in the pop-up of MS Windows, suspecting that THEY might be malicious software (I aperiodically having a pop-up invites to update my antivirus right [AVG] - sometimes after having updated, but close the pop-up window and update normally, usually not to receive updates).

  Then I found I couldn't open MS Office (Word, Outlook or Excel) programs (any of the worksheets first day of the month is NOT a good deal!).  The pop-up "Red Cross" read "Microsoft Office is unable to verify the license for this product.  You will need to repair the Office program by using the control panel. "I did, nothing helped.

  I clicked on the link to "microsoft.com/genuine/validate/" and after that it lasted several hours, I gave up on that.

  I develop on the alpha 10 blackberry dev and yesterday during the deployment of app I started getting this message from QNX Momentics IDE:

  "Synchronization and application startup" has encountered a problem.

  After I started getting this error, I noticed that I couldn't run any application, I already installed on the device, even the example apps provided no longer works (by clicking on the icon was moving the desk on the right for a moment as he normally does, but then the application does not run)

  I tried to set the mode of development, change the debugging token, restart the device and my pc, but it did not help. So I decided to wipe the device and today I reinstalled the operating system. I was able to run the application a couple of times tonight, but the problem started to appear again.

  I had the same problem tonight, so I investigated further. I went to settings-> Security-> development mode and I noticed the debugging token has been installed, but it was not valid. the expiry date line said "edition invalid date or in the future." I noticed the time on my phone was incorrectly, I put it properly and now it works again.
