ERROR STARTING FROM SGD

Hello

I'm new to the em grid control.
I give the following command "emctl start who", it fails to start who. There are several errors in the log.
Can you please guide me how to solve the problem. And also how can I connect to the repository database?

OS - Linux
WHO - 11g

Concerning
Vinita

Vinita,

First of all, make sure that the repository database works and you can connect using something like sqlplus.

The following command will show the login information you the basis of repository.

/ bin/emctl config who-list_repos_details

If the database instance is in place and you can connect using the connection of the above output command information; However, the WHO still doesn't start then check the following files for clues:

.../gc_inst/user_projects/domains/GCDomain/servers/EMGC_OMS1/logs/EMGC_OMS1.out
.../gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/SYSMAN/log/eMoms.log

Support should be able to help if necessary.

Kind regards
-Loc

Fixed a fault.

    Hello

Try the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

This problem might occur because a third-party application so I would say you do you start in safe mode and check if the problem occurs.

    Step 1:

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed

Start the computer in Mode safe.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

    Clean boot

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    Note:

After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • My C50 - B Satellite does not start from the HARD drive

    Details of the machine: -.

    Model number: PSCMLA-03F07Q
    Serial number: XE343127P

Computer does not start from hard drive. No error message, just the start Toshiba at the end of self-test screen.

Sometimes a reinstall of the operating system seems to correct the problem, but then he would go again, now the problem is consistent.

I reduced the possibilities to a fault of BIOS, reasons.

System boots from USB with no problems. Installation of operating systems is done without error. SMART hard drive data indicates a perfectly healthy hard drive. Memcheck will return no error.

The obvious solution is to reload the BIOS, just reset it doesn't help. But that is the problem.

1.4 BIOS update that the Australian site offers is a Windows program and the computer cannot start Windows.

Obvious answer is to use a bootable USB key with an operating system 'live' on this issue, but all of these systems are Linux and the update of the BIOS is a Windows program. So much for smart solutions.

Downloaded Bios version 1.7 of the European site but the iso inside the rar file is empty, 25 MB in size but nothing in there according to Linux. Tried to run his program on a Win7 64 bit computer and it returns an error that it could not find the correct iso file.

I submitted a support request by email to Toshiba, but they believe that it could take three days to get a response, so I thought I would ask here as well. Can someone tell me please to a working copy of the latest BIOS update disk for a laptop Satelite C50 - B? Note: this model does not have a CD player so iso should be compatible with USB boot.

    See you soon,.

    Andrew.

    Hello

From my experience that I n think that BIOS update is the final solution for you. When you set the default settings of the BIOS disk HARD appears correctly in the BIOS settings?
HARD drive is also offered and listed as boot device when you enter in the start using F12 at startup menu?

What happens when you start using recovery image installation created recovery USB key (I hope that you have created a)?

Offer BIOS updates are versions of WIN and can be performed by running the Windows operating system.

I have Toshiba Portege R100. I want to format and start all over again

I use killdisk, excellent utility program, normally takes place the disc cd but the machine does not start from cd player, even when it is said in the bios, it says 'error of cable' & drive still works fine when the system is installed & running

I want to remove unbuntu & just xp, thought that I would start plus-plus easy or simply to remove unbuntu?
If remove unbuntu, how can I do this?

    Best regards, TIM

    Hey Buddy,

If you want to have XP only, try to boot from a XP disc. You can format the drive HARD whole with XP disc that even Ubuntu is installed. I put t understand why you use another program to format the HARD drive

Then boot from a XP disc and follow the instructions on the screen. If it doesn't work, it seems to be the material of your player to malfunction.

  • HD will not start from host organization but will be of a different MBP

    ((Two Mbit/s: 1) mid 2010 i5 model 1) Middle model i7 2011.

From here, I will call them as "i5 and i7.

The i7 was having starting problems. The taskbar would charge about 2/3 of the way in which it would "hang up" then the screen turns off. Unsuccessfully trying to boot in safe mode. Verbose mode would freeze as well. Tried the single user mode and run ' fsck - fy "and it made no difference. No idea how fix permissions with the utility El Capitan disk but I'm not sure it would make a difference. Doesn't it?

I then did a backup/clone of the i7 to a new external storage disk. All programs and files are successfully transferred.

Then I wiped the i7 with a clear three-pass and reinstalled OSX.

Error #1) I have not test to see if the hd now Virgin began its host computer before you restore the old files.

Error #2) I put the clone on the i7 copy using Super Duper.

When installing the i7 to its host computer, it wouldn't boot in any mode just as before.

    * Comment: The i7 will start the i5 laptop when connected via USB in system preferences > startup disk.

I am currently using the i7 connected to the external i5 as I type this.

Disk utility has been run on the i7 at this point by indicating zero problems.

Onyx has been run through all the options and check marks with no problems.

Always the i7 will not start its host computer.

    I am very confused.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) why/how this phenomenon occur?

    (2) in making the i7 clone for external storage, if there was a hidden virus or something on the i7 origin, is the now compromised storage device?

I read it twice and I'm still a little confused.

When you cloned the i7, you do it from the other computer?

I get the i7 disc starts from the i7 computer when it is connected to the outside. Is this correct?

If the player starts in an external of the i7 box, but not in the computer the case most likely is the SATA cable to the hard drive.

    Try to replace.

  • Error starting on Equium A200

    Hello

Basically, I have connected to the internet after a long period without access so there was quite a few automatic updates to download. After download, I turned back on my laptop, it started after the Toshiba screen and display a black screen that says "cannot start windows and that a recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

Inside, he also informed that "year error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.
It DOES not say that I need a windows installation disc to repair but I didn't get one with the laptop, so I m looking for other ways... in the manual for the A200 it says that if I hold F8 when I turn on I must be able to access the windows recovery environment, but nothing happens if I kicked or hammer repeatedly.

I've removed the battery and generally it shook everything. No change. I have a Vista Home Premium disc (I have normal Vista) and started from this but that ONLY gives the option to update or install vista, DO NOT repair.

So, my point is, I can access my data in any case t, if I get hold of a good copy of vista, I'll be able to fix this problem or is it more likely that I will lose everything?

    Cheers in advance

    Stand by!
You can start your laptop in safe MODE?
Sorry, but I didn't understand a thing. Start the laptop and if you press the F8 key can enter you Advanced Startup Options? Recovery options is something else.

If you enter this option is called option fix my computer?
One last thing: you have any DVD with your laptop?

Sorry for these questions but your ad is a little confusing for me.
