  When validated Adobe than 10.5.2 was the newest Apple operating system. Yes it will work with 10.5.8, it the 10.4.8 minimum which is the most important thing is the system earlier than it will work with so if you have 10.4.7 or less you must update the system to 10.4.8 or newer for the application to run or install.

  Can someone help me please.  I downloaded the version 8 of photoshop elements for mac (a paid version and not the trial).  When I click on the icon of the implementation and go through all the necessary information (serial number, etc.), the screen goes to the system check and finally "installation preparation".  He sits there and does nothing.  I've been waiting for hours, but it just says: "preapring to install.  I downloaded the app a couple of times.  I rebooted a couple of times.  I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.1 I also have the earlier version of Photoshop Elements, version 6.  Can anyone help please.  I held now for 73 minutes on the Adobe support line.
