  Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

  This problem can occur because the device sends data of strength of signal for Windows. These data can be interpreted as input device real, such as the movement of the mouse, button activity or strikes. Therefore, this transmission can prevent Windows mode 'sleep'. Windows must enter "sleep" mode to activate the screen saver.

  I suggest that you update the drivers for all devices on the computer entry. You can update the drivers from Device Manager and check.

• When a PDF form and reopen it are empty

  When I fill out a form using XI Acrobat pro and then save it with the same name or a different name and try opening it again, it is empty.  I can't us the quick print function, and it will actually show the information I thought I saved.  But if I open it up it still shows once empty.  Any ideas?

  This problem occurs when the application Preview on a Mac is used to complete the forms. It is well known preview corrupt PDF files in a number of ways, and absolutely avoid when using PDF Forms. The damage it does to a document cannot be repaired, but you can open the form in Acrobat corrupted, export the form data (in FDF or XFDF file) and import back into a blank form. Then inform your users to use Adobe Reader and not preview.

  Try to remove Acrobat DC with the tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool , restart the computer and reinstall Acrobat Pro DC.

• Difference when viewing PDF made with/workspace-server / and /DocumentManager/

  Hi all

  There are 2 scenarios when you view the file as an attachment:

  (1) when the user processes the form, they consider the attachment in the Attachments tab. Format of the url is: https://mydomain/workspace-server/documents/-6195445997301787088-16.pdf

  (2) requirement of my client should display files in the Attachments tab even after that process is complete.

  What I did is to write a custom java component, definition of the last task to recover and return to the user.

  (I also found that the file is generated under the GDS file)

  In both cases, the navigateToURL() function is used to display the pdf in a new window.

  My trouble begins from here. In the client machine several case 2 always ask them to record the form instead of viewing in the browser, while case 1 always may be visible.

  But first, the setContentTypeFromBasename() is a complement of the ES2 to the Document class.  I didn't know that this was a case of pre - ES2. Sorry about that.

  Then you say that you remove it? type = ASDFASDFASDF leave the URL on the client. This has to be there for the DocumentManager servlet can define the type of content in the http response.  I looked at the code, and if it is not there, no content type is defined so that it will be browser and os depends on what he will do, although I expect more to ask.

  And however your component custom and short lived working process, documenting the output must have the right content-type variable put into it (the Document has a 8.2 setContentType() method but you will need to do the file to the mime type extension mapping to 8.2).  If it does and you do not remove the type parm in the url, then things will work.  But if this type parm is not there or the content type is not defined in the document var output, the browser will not know which application/plugin to launch and invite.

• iPhone users cannot view PDF form data?

  I created a form that my staff can send quotes from our clients.

  The form is sent by e-mail to help submit a button of form as "PDF the complete document."

  I spent several days of testing of the form to make sure that everything worked properly and as far as I could tell everything seemed fine.

  Unfortuntately, several of our clients who have iPhones have informed us that the form is blank. None of the fields display data or information that my staff briefed.

  I have read several messages online and they all suggest that it is to do with the version of Adobe which is pre-installed on iOS devices. If Adobe Reader is downloaded on the iPhone must be correctly read the form.

  Is there a way to get around this? Ideally I don't want my customers having to download something before they can read our quote.

  Also, several of the fields have attached javascript who I want to keep, for example the "Link" text field (it has a javascript hyperlink attached). I have considered to be send quotes as a file .jpg instead, but that would mean losing these features that took so long to build in the citation.

  I have attached a demo version of my form where it is useful.

  I had suggested to flatten the form fields, which converts the content of the page regularly. There will be no interactive field after that well. It is possible to flattten only certain fields so that your script would continue to operate if the form is displayed in a PDF Viewer that is compatible, but that would require a custom script.

  It can be customized in order to exclude some areas.

• Why does not Adobe Reader XI when viewing PDFs Online?

  This is probably a stupid question, but I noticed something weird last night.  I have Adobe Reader 9 on my netbook and Adobe Reader XI on my main computer.  I had gone through some PDF files online on my netbook and in Adobe Reader 9, I have the player "interface", i.e., there is a border around the PDF, with the number of top box and I can search the document for various things.  On my main computer with Adobe Reader XI, are simply downloading the PDF files and I don't have the player "interface" in addition, there is no way to search for items or go to specific pages.  Is there a place to change my settings in XI so that I get the interface?  Thanks a lot for your help.
