Hi allI m using Hyperion V11.1.1.1.0. I m able to start the Essbase server, but after a few seconds it will automatically stops.
I need your suggestions...

You have made a backup of your directory of essbase recently, if yes, then you can just restore essbase.sec
Or you can try essbase.sec deletion and renaming ESSBASE. BAK to essbase.sec to see if it works.
Or the deletion of essbase.sec and rename ESSBASE. BAK_postUPM to essbase.sec, although it will be security/essbase filters to when you convert to the security mode of the shared services.

Not able to connect to the essbase server: error 10061 NW
Hi all
I am currently working on Hyperion 11.1.2.3 and have installed Hyperion essbase and planning for the same thing. Until a few days back I was able to connect to my server essbase in environmental assessments, but now it gives me error that says: error: 1042006: Network error [10061]: unable to connect to [WIN - 1K6GBOF63C0:1423], where WIN-1K6GBOF63C0 is my machine name.

The error being generated using relates to Essbase is not able to connect to the registry of SSP database, or the database is corrupt.
Are a set of services to automatic, maybe that the database has not increased and running prior to Essbase trying to boot against the register of Shared Services.
Confirm the relational database is finally up and running and you can connect, then clear the Essbase logs, start Essbase, and post again the same newspapers.

I discovered that it was with Linux server, I could configure the Essbase server from Windows server to Windows server while it was certainly the problem of Linux.

Fatal error: the security file was created in blend mode, but the current environment is not blending mode... Restart Essbase using the last backup file, or set the ENABLESWITCHTOBACKUPFILE config to allow Essbase automatically uses a backup security file
We have updated the essbase.cfg and define the TRUE ENABLESWITCHTOBACKUPFILE but that didn't work.
Also, we have renamed the file essbase.sec in essbase_bak.sec and restarted the service. still no luck.

EAS console error adding essbase server after the power supply 500
Hi guys,.
I do a migration of cube 9.3.1 to 11.1.2.3 via the wizard of Migration of EAS.
Yesterday, I tested the link and was able to copy it to an application. After having applied the Group of hotfixes,.500 I can't connect to the 9.3 old servers more. Nothing has changed. I can always get a smartview connection and by using the IP address of the server does not either, which excludes any network problem. When I try to add the old server again the console log says:

Error when you try to connect to the Essbase Server
Apply after the patch 13904640 for EE 11.1.2.1 I can't connect with Essbase servers more. When I click on it I get the error message:

All services have started without any error.

EPMA Essbase requires Validation - an internal server error
I created an application essbase 'TEST '. In Epma, I downloaded for the application dimensions and tried to validate the application. But when the validation, I get the following error

When I started EAS and added "Server Administration", it has been successfully added.
But when I tried to add 'Essbase Servers' it is throwing the following error.
«Network Error [10061]: unable to connect to the [Machine name: 1423].» The customer has expired waiting to connect to Analytic Services Agent using TCP/IP. Check your network connections. Also, make sure that the poort and Server values are correct. »

Essbase server URL of the SSP sub-folder of application groups can not see...
I installed successfully hyperion EPMA 11.1.2.3 on windows server 2008 R2. I can connect to all the components hyperion essbase except succussfully. While trying to connect to essbase by EAS it gives me below error.
"Error: 103: error unexpected Essbase 1051293 Error: 1051293: connection fails due to invalid credentials".
In shared services, I do not see essbase cluster while the other components are visible.
Please suggest...

RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server change

We installed and configured 11.1.2.2.100(Essbase, EIS, Studio, Services partagés) on Windows 2008 32-bit server successfully.
Everything went well and all the products work.
Now, we have changed the RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server and ran the configuration once more with the new RDBMS server with option "reuse existing tables.

We have seen users of Shared Services. All users are able to connect to Shared Services, EAS but problem with Essbase.
In the table of HSS_Component is the old name of the server in two places, we have updated the old name of DB server on behalf of current server DB.
When we try to access essbase we get the below error (tried with the host name, ip address, EssbaseCluster1 as the Essbase server)

Error: 103: unexpected error Essbase 1030818

It is extremely important that you know what you are doing before you touch the registry of shared services and the correct way is to not update the tables, is to use the epmsys_registry utility.
To be honest you can have messed up the registry and it is something I will not get involved in, try to talk with Oracle, what you just did.
If it is only the name of the RDBMS server change (not the essbase server) then you must follow the instructions in the documentation - change shared Services and connection of database registry and the password information

You can't go up, down or view the Essbase server status.
The version is 11.1.2.1 and Essbase is installed on an AIX server.
When you run opmnctl says:

The warning should not be a problem and is common but "Fatal Error: Essbase is already loaded" sounds like there is already a running Essbase process, you should try and stop Essbase and then check if there is a running Essbase process, if it is you will need to kill, then find a file Essbase.lck and if there is remove it You should then be ok to restart Essbase.

Hello everyone, I am trying to install essbase server (V 11.1.2.3) on Red hat Linux 6, 64-bit. Already installed on Windows 2008 Foundation Services. Nothing has yet been configured. On the installation of Linux, the installation of common components to fail. I looked around, in forums and in Oracle Support (Doc ID 1360561.1) and it looks to be a known issue. We discussed that it is due to a small number of missing on the linux server RPM. But I couldn't find a definitive answer as to the exact package that it was, or if it is a problem of RPM in the first place. Could someone please shed some light on what exactly is causing the problem and what exact package is necessary. Thank you.

This is because COM is 32 bit and requires glibc 32-bit packages.
Try running
