  I want to install the latest version of Hyperion Performance Scorecard and I was wondering if ODI has an adapter for direct integration?

  There isn't any direct way to integrate HPS. You must use Scorecard Import / Export utility.

  I think that the adopters are required for use with Hyperion.

  You should not need "" Oracle and Oracle Data Quality data profiling"
  When you install, you can just install the Oracle Data Integrator, then choose complete.

  Sorry for the confusion, I answered regarding the ODI 11 g (still the most widely used version) that you were not specific about the version in your original question. Yes, debugging features have been introduced in 12 c but there is no eqiuivalent of watchpoints.

  I used off-integration of box to integrate Oracle EBS btw to FDMEE of HFM. We now have a new source SAP System. Please indicate the steps which must be designed to extract data from SAP to FDMEE and then push to HFM.

  When integrating Oracle EBS, I have unused adapters we need to have maps when integrating with SAP.

  Use the adapter FDMEE-SAP of Bristlecone-integration is supported for SAP ERP Financials modules: General Ledger, Profit Center, cost center, provider and client.

  As you said the other adapter Bristlecone provide FDMEE - SAP BW is not suitable for your pressure

• implementation of agent 11g ODI for multiple Master Repository

  I'm working on a project where I had to create several master repository in different schemas of Oracle database. Now I am trying to setup ODI agent. To do this, I need to change odiparams.bat by replacing the encoded password corresponding to a master repository.

  Problem is when I tried to change the odiparams I never saw any name from the master repository, I created. So, how can I setup in this case agent.

  You will need to create a new folder for each agent. I think this post from Uli Bethke is always valid for all versions of 11g: from ODI: installation of several agents of the ODI on a single server. Sonra. Unlock the value of your data.

• ODI for Hyperion Planning upgrade upgrade

  Dear all,

  I really need your advice. Now we are in the process of Hyperion Planning upgrade 11.1.1.3 11.1.2.2

  Install a newer version of ODI in the new server. Then take the saving deposits of the ODI and restore them to new db.

  Using the upgrade process, upgrade the ODI, then connect them with newly installed ODI.

  With the help of ODIhome/bin/us.bat, we can improve the ODI version.

• Adapter ODI for Hyperion planning

  Hi gurus,

  I have problem with definition for Hyperion planning server data connection. What database server, I need to use for the connection of Hyperion Planning. Planning of the app is on separate servers that the cube. Cube is on Essbase server. This means that I need to two different connections, one for the data (essbase cube) for metadata (server when considering app). Is this really?

  I made only one connection on essbase server and try reverse engineering to cube essbase, which I made with the planning, of model, but it gives me an error:

  [com.hyperion.odi.planning.ODIPlanningException: com.hyperion.odi.planning.ODIPlanningException: could not connect to the instance of planning on host hostname], [port] port, check if connect you are correct.

  I put port 11333 on the server where is installed my workspace for planning, and finally I managed model of reverse engineering for Hyperion planning.

• Module knowledge in ODI for Hyperion 11.1.2.1

  Hi all
  We use 11.1.2.1(latest un). The new system comes with commercial outlines of loading to load the metadata and data. In the old system, we used to load the data of Essbase. In this new version, we can load the data via the edge load utility.
  My question is - we use ODI to load the metadata and data. I am familiar with a knowledge module to load the metadata in the planning but is at - he new knowledge to load the data via the planning with ODI?
  How to load the data into the planning?

• Comparison of BPEL and ODI for integrations

  We expect the integration of two different versions within oracle applications. We evaluate the component of technology to use (ODI VS. BPEL Oracle Data Integrator).
  
  * There are two types of data that need to be synchronized between these two. A type is reference data (for example - items, suppliers) and the other type is associated processes (purchase orders, orders). Reference data sync-up should not have any intelligence to be built in the process, since it is mainly the loading data. ODI seems to be a better candidate for reference data sync-up
  * Sync-up associated process would require intelligence to be built in the integration process. BPEL seems to be a better candidate to do this. However, this can be achieved even by using ODI since we can execute some PL/SQL APIs or call ODI web services. The required logic can be kept in PL/SQL or web services.
  
  Can you please share your thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages of the use of ODI VS. BPEL (in terms of volume of bass vs a high volume of data and the impact on performance etc.).

  In general, if the volume is too high, and the performance is very critical, then choose ODI. However if you want to have all the benefits of loosely coupled SOA integration, volume are not that high and there is treatment of activities it takes to arrive before the data makes it to the other side, use PIP of the ABC of the AIA connector architecture.

  Hihg volume is subject to use particular and participants ability to request to be processed many (batch) data.

• Establishment of AP for independent

  I'm on a test with only an access point and a client network. I have no servers on this network radius. I am able to get my statically IP'd client to be accepted by the ap through its encryption but I keep getting errors that said it could not authenticate (% DOT11-7-AUTH_FAILED). I know that it is because it's just the ap and the client on my test network. Is it possible to set up an access point to not try to authenticate to a radius server? I tried seting local authentication without result. Keeping in mind I work with JUST the ap and the client on that particular network.

  Hey there,

  IOS APs on the local radius server will support only jump, if you the customer supports LEAP then I would for the authentication of the client. Otherwise if the AP receives an authentication request 802. 1 x it will pass along any external authentication configured. No way to stop the AP from the front the request client authentication if the SSID of the APs is configured to accept eap network authentication requests. I hope this helps.
