Webcam Live mail 2011 slow startup
Since the upgrade to windows live essentials 2011 I'm having a lot of problems with the direct mail and messenger, start up times are very long 2-3 minutes before programs start up, no problem, but when the program began, but it works correctly.
The computer is clean and free of viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, etc.
I uninstalled live essentials and cleaned prior to relocation and have also option I tried to fix it but the slow startup problem still remains.
Anti virus that is used is to combine with antimalwarebytes Kapersky.
Vista sp2, ram 4 GB, amd 64 dual operating system.
No other problems with other software
Live icon in the lower right corner turns on immediately, but then the system hangs for 2-3 minutes before the start of the program, thought that it may be to do with the live sign in so disabled that but no difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll try to go back to a previous version of live mail if possible.

slow startup of the host VMWare ESXi 5.5 when installed on the hard drive internal
We have some servers Dell R720 with 256G RAM and 2 6core Procs. When I install ESXi client for internal hard drives (mirrored array) it takes literally more than 5 minutes to start. I can watch the vmware boot process crawl slowly the progress bar on the screen in "recovery" mode before moving on to the substantive start-up procedure yellow.
Why is this slow process? Why a hard drive inside is install using syslinux? (it's the first thing that shows on the display). If I had to guess, I would say that the only facility to support runs of fat32 on a USB flash drive and the same hard drive installs use this same process to start. Am I wrong?
I'm late to the party, but we have been affected by this issue. The solution is a updated internally perc firmware.
It's like night and day.

Satellite Pro A300-1E7 - slow startup
Hello
It takes more than 5 minutes for my PC to boot from by pressing the button to get the Vista desktop (Business) to appear. Can anyone suggest something to improve this unusually long boot?
Given the specification of the system, this seems a little crazy, especially when I started at the side of every portable specified and they take less than 2 minutes.
Thanks in advance.

Satellite 2450-201: slow startup and shutdown
I HAVE A SATELLITE 2450-201 AND I RUN ON WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION, I DID A REGISTRY CLEANER EVERYBODYS USERNAME USING REGISTRY FIX 5.5
I HAVE DEFRAGED MY PC AND ALSO OPTIMIZED MY MSCONFIG STARTUP ITEMS AND EVEN THE BIOS UPDATE.
THE RESULT IS EXTREMELY FASTER WHEN I CONNECT AND ACTUALLY UNDER WINDOWS BUT THE SAME OLD VERY SLOW STOP AND START TO WHAT I DO.THE WINDOWS BAR GOING ALONG AT LEAST 15 - 20 TIMES TO HELP START!
Hello
Maybe you've connected to some external devices to slow down the start-up procedure. You can also try to disable all the hardware components you n t need (modem. IrDA). Also check out which device is defined in a first start time (I hope that the HARD drive).
For slow closing is responsible only running processes that should be forced disconnected. It all depends on your own configuration and you are using external devices.

XP takes longer and longer to start. I read the thread on MS Update c. Windows Update, but it's not my problem. Take 6 minutes to start, time is everything that happened after the desktop appears and 5 minutes to get/icons of shortcuts and function. I did the boot, it starts up quickly in the clean boot style v2 (no system services).
I ran an illegal product and have screenshots of the schedule and time open for all startup items. However, do not know how to post them here. The startup journal, I can't tell which takes all the time, it seems there are several startup items that take a lot of time, but I'm not familiar enough with the names of files to find out what they are.
Thanks in advance for any help that could be offered.

Windows 7 extremely slow startup
I have an extremely slow Windows 7 startup time. It takes 3-4 minutes to start and then 2-3 minutes before I can actually use the computer. I went into Ms-config and especially disabled services at startup, I got him to start with all my carrots and RAM MAX I tried Glary Utilities and Kingsoft PC Wizard to try to improve the startup time. Nothing did.
My specs:
Motherboard: AMD 760G Chipset
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 x 270.
CPU: AMD FX - 4100 Zambezi overclocked to 3.8 GHz
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
Hard drive: 1 TB with about 450 GB of available.
I cannot fail to plug, and Windows works fine, once it gets past the 6-8 minutes to before I can actually use it. It's incredibly frustrating is the slowness. I'm open to suggestions. I have alos repeatedly run Norton anti-virus and found no viruses or issues.
After another reboot, it seems that the deletion of my anti-virus, corrected the problem of slow start. She went from 4.5 minutes to about 1 minute and 20 seconds.

A little confused about ESXi 5 startup problem
Hey there everyone - I read the forums and other documents online for a few days, but I'm not sure if there is a work around for this particular problem.
I AM running the free version of ESXi 5 (with the license key installed on the host to remove the limit of 60 days), on my own system here at home and it works fine, but the autostart feature does not work for the specified virtual machines. Problem is that I downloaded the image to install for a few days, so I don't know if I have the latest version or if I can still the 'dismantling' to version 5 who takes support this feature.
I have pfsense installed on the host computer, and without this startup system, if ESXi restarts or loses power and returns to the top, it does not automatically start pfsense and I lose all access to the House. I thought I had done enough research and thought I'd be OK to install ESXi 5, but obviously, I missed something.
If I click on help > on VMWare in my vSphere client, the Client's version 5.0.0 (Build 623373) and VMware ESXi is Version 5.0.0 with a building of 623860.
I'm SOL here? Or can I do something to restore this ability?
The system is not something super special - but I want to continue to use ESXi compared to what I used last.
I have experience with 4.x to work, so I was really excited to try 5.
Nuts!
If there are well-documented discussions that attack my specific version, links to these threads are appreciated - search function seems to be especially 'miss' in the conditions I'm picking.
Unfortunately, ESXi Update 1 beat auto-start for the free version. However, this problem has been fixed with the latest patch (see http://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2012/07/vsphere-hypervisor-auto-start-bug-fixed.html)
For information on how to apply updates on ESXi 5.0, see for example the Update ESXi 5 - single use esxcli How To

iMac is painfully slow startup
Hello
It is has been a problem for a while, but seems to have slightly worsened with El Capitan. After start-up or a restart, it is a good 6-8 minutes - without exaggeration - until my computer can begin to open programs without huge lag. About 10 minutes until it is at full speed.
iMac (27 inch, end of 2013), 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Any ideas, or is this normal? I repaired disk permissions, flushed trash and generally keep the machine running as clean as possible without being an expert.
Thank you.
It is not normal, not even remotely.
Backup everything then check your hard drive. Slow start ups can be a symptom of a failing drive.

Slow startup after installing the SSD because gray screen
I just installed a Samsung Evo 500 GB SSD in my Macbook Pro 2010. I went to start and it starts very slowly due to a gray screen just sat there for about 30 seconds and then it shows the apple logo and it takes another 15 seconds to load. The gray screen did not appear before installing the SSD but the Apple logo did take longer to load with the HARD drive. I used SuperDuper to clone my my SSD HARD drive and installed the SSD and it starts normally. The only issue was the gray screen. I've heard that I need to go into system preferences and select Startup disk, then my boot drive, but there is no choice. Help, please.
