  You will need the crypto image that has the k9 in the name.

  Hello - I was using Notegorical app to track very important info.  However, as I downloaded iOS 10, I can only see the notes I made, I can not add or copy/paste into another application.  Can someone tell me how to solve this problem or move my info to another application?  It's really terrible and I need help!  Help, please!  Thank you!!

  You must contact the developer application or its support page to see if the app is supported in iOS 10.x. It is possible that the application must be updated for iOS 10.x, and they have not yet done.

• IDSM2 on the inline 6500 IOS mode support?

  I have a JOINT-2 running IPS5.1 (1 d) (recently updated to 4.x) software that sits on a 6500 IOS.

  The IPS Device Manager shows gi0/7 and gi0/8 as well in Promiscuous mode. There is no option to change the inline mode and pair them up.

  Is it so that JOINT-2 currently supports only Promiscuous mode?

  If so, this module is always as IDS despite the execution of IPS5.1. Is it not? What is the advantage that I get after upgrade from 4.x to 5.1?

  There are 2 pieces of the puzzle.

  There is the JOINT-2 version and it takes in charge, but also the native IOS of Cat 6 K version and that it supports.

  Supports the v5.1 (1 d) JOINT-2

  (a) promiscuous mode.

  (b) mode InLine Interface pair (2 interfaces are matched to online tracking) and also

  (c) pair online mode of Vlan (2 VLANS on a single interface is matched for online tracking, you will also see it called inline-on-a-stick)

  But for these features to be used, the code switch must also support the configuration on the side of the switch of the JOINT-2 for each of these 3 features.

  Native versions of IOS prior to 12.2 (18) SXE will only support the Promiscuous on JOINT-2 mode.

  12.2 (18) SXE and later versions support Interface InLine mode on JOINT-2 pair.

  No native IOS version does currently support InLine Vlan pair on JOINT-2 mode (a new versions native IOS with this support is currently in development).

  For inlining (IPS), you need to run a Native IOS version 12.2 (18) SXE and later and on the JOINT-2 run IPS versions 5.1 (or even older 5.0).

  (NOTE: Cat OS 8.5 (1) takes in charge the 3 modes of JOINT-2.) Therefore, if you use cat instead of the native IOS OS, then run version 8.5 (1) to have access to all the features of IPS 5.1 (1) on the JOINT-2)

  If you run a Native IOS version prior to 12.2 (18) SXE and the JOINT-2 then it can run in "Promiscuous" mode even if 5.1 (1) is responsible for the JOINT-2.

  However, even in "Promiscuous" mode the IPS 5.1 (1) software has a few advantages.

  There are several engines and engine parameters are only supported in version 5.1 and not the version 4.0. (So there are several signatures that are either one) not yet created for sensors 4.x, or b) signature 4.x is not as precise as the signature of 5.x in new engines.

  (These new engines are proved invaluable in writing signatures to detect some of the new attacks that came out last year).

  There are of course other benefits:

  For example:

  (1) risk of note to best aid priority to alerts.

  (2) fitlering more flexible mechanism for alerts that allows individual actions of fitlering

  The 2 features above are only 2 of the new features that have been added in 5.0 and 5.1 that apply both of promiscuity and online modes.

• application of newsstand, iOS add support for .folio files

  We have a kiosk iOS application to provide our customers with our problems, and we use a PDF reader.

  We want to add support for the .folio in the application files, by using a reader of folio in our application.

  Looking around, I only found the specifications for the .folio files and Adobe Content Viewer application.

  Is it possible to have more specific information on how we can do something like the Adobe Content Viewer application that we can integrate into our application?

  For example how could analyze the xml files, which controls views to use (for example. UIWebview?) etc.

  It is really not possible to do. Keep in mind Adobe has devoted a team of engineers over the last three years to build the folio of the rendering of the DPS Viewer capabilities. Write one yourself to integrate into an existing application, it's only really only something a big company with their own market will do.

  If your application currently does that distribute magazines, it is best to spend to DPS and replacement of your existing application with a DPS one.

• CS6 update 2 - iOS Simulator Support - not found UIKit - OSX Lion

  Hi I just updated day at CS6 update 2 with the support of iOS Simulator, but trying to push the flash Simulator I get an error of

  -UIKit framework not found

  I'm on OSX Lion with the latest Xcode.  I think that it may have to do with Flash are looking for directory of developer to the UIKit, who with Xcode and Lion, moved inside the XCode application.  Anyone encountered this?

  It's the suggestion that Adobe has worked for me:

  /Applications/XCode.app/Contents/developer/platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/developer/SD Ks/iPhoneSimulator5.1.sdk

  He also worked with the Simulator SDK iOS6.0.

  The app lke it does normally with Xcode, however, don't you find on the springboard Simulator and launch it yourself.

  I'm working on the development of an application of type magazine with Flash CS5. I would like to enable iOS support kiosk for the exported .ipa file. Someone at - it experience with this? I think I would need to edit the APP's info.plist file in the bundle exported .ipa...

  I don't have not implemented this yet. But as I read on http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/StoreKit/Reference/NewsstandKit_Fram ework/_index.html, edit the info.plist could take your kiosk application to newspapers, but to take advantage of any feature of NewsStand that you must also write a few Native also Extension that allows to access NKLibrary, NKIssue NKAssetDownload.

  I think that http://www.viggiosoft.com/blog/blog/2011/10/17/ios-newsstand-tutorial/ this will help you to do booth stuff in newspapers in native code.

  If ever you are using newsstand, I'd like to see your app, please share your iTunes link.

  Hey so I know it's entirely my fault and I should not have updated.  Honestly, I think he was out more and figured things would be fixed now.

  I know that there is another thread that end up being locked up... but I wonder how long until there is an update for the hearing?  Or if there is a work around for a certain type?

• update of ios 10 stop

  I woke up this morning. Read my mail. Looked a few news sites then took a shower. When I went to my computer there is no bandwidth. Checked the router, my iPhone 6 s, suddenly was download iOS 10 (car is not on so it does so without my permission or any request). I don't find a way to stop it, so I put it in airplane mode. This turns my iPhone into a useless brick. I can't find any way to stop the download which will be all day due to its size, assuming that it is not a fault, which occurs always.

  I see that you post because your device has started to download only iOS 10 update, but you are not ready to install it. I can understand the need for extra time to get a major update installed. I would be happy to help!

  If the installation has already started, you can remove the existing download of the update as follows:
  
  

  1. Go to settings > general > storage & use of iCloud. Under storage tap manage storage.
  2. Find that the iOS to update in the list of applications.
  3. Press the update IOS, then remove the update.

• iOS 10 update failed iPhone 6 now frozen on the Logo screen

  I connected my iPhone 6 (he was stuck in endless loop Recovery Mode with closed force) to iTunes and tried to update to iOS 10. After about 20 minutes, the update failed. Now my phone is frozen on the Logo screen with the loading of updated under him bar. Force restart it brings back me to the screen in recovery mode.

  I had to unplug my phone and plug it in again... Make sure that all drivers are up-to-date. attention to any message of warning or error code filling on your itunes.

  ITunes and the computer must be updated. the cable must be the original.

  Although I made a backup, recovery mode was not something I wanted. It worked for me, once I followed this step.

  Install the latest version of iTunes. (12.5.1.21)

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Automatically search for updates of your Mac or PC. If you restart your computer for an update, check the updates again after the reboot.
  3. Strength of your unit to restart. ()When you see the option restore or update, choose update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data. Please wait while iTunes downloaded the software for your device. If the download takes more than 15 minutes and the device out of recovery mode, let the download is finished, then repeat these steps.)

• Update to iOS 10 with Windows XP

  I have an old PC with Media Center, Windows XP SP3 (cannot afford to upgrade or buy a new PC... on disability 8 + years).  It has iTunes installed 12.1.3.6.  Whenever I try to update my iPad or iPhone to iOS 10, iTunes says I need iTunes v12.1.2 and offers me a button to download, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

  Where can I download this version of iTunes for Windows XP?

  Could you post a screenshot of the error message that iTunes is to give you? In any case, iTunes 12.1.2 was released in April 2015 and could not support iOS 9, still less iOS 10. The sad reality is that Apple supports more XP, and you need a PC running Windows 7 or higher (or a Macintosh) to install iTunes for iOS 10 support 12.5.1.
