Compaq 6200: Grahpics card Compaq upgrade 6200

I spent 3 hours searching. So many different customers, so many cards, so many questions. I don't want to waste money because I searched all stores in my area. Wal-Mart, Best Buy and a few private belonging to used computer stores. The pc I have is compact, so I need a low profile graphics card. Everything I play is League of legends. I'd like to be able to play on the high resolution hd and parameters to the less average to high. Theres so many cards I don't know where to start because I would have to order and wait and if it does not go through a process of return. I don't have the time for this type of trial and errors. It's my features of the computer.

Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard model 2UA212020Y series of 1497
Processor: Intel Core i3-2120 3.30 ghz
System type: 64-bit Windows 10
RAM: 12gigs
Power supply: 240v
Compaq 6200 Small Form Factor

Are not really the money to buy a power supply and a Green Sea Urchin at the same time, so prefer that I can use with on the upgrade of power supply. I saw a few 1gig and 2gig ones. Some pci express 2.1 or 3.0 LOL said. Honestly, I don't know where to start. Over the years, I heard som many of this community, so I ask anyone willing to help me refine my search. Please teach him to fish

This card would work on my pc, if so I'll buy right away. If now someone can help me find a decent card please.

Hello:

I can't say whether or not this card will work on your PC.

I read in this forum that the last series of cards Nvidia, you can install it in the PC of around old, yours is are the 600 series.

The 700 series can demand that a revision of BIOS newer than your PC.

You are unable to move the P/S even if you wanted to, because he owns.

So, you have to live with what cards will work with the existing configuration.

I recommend that stick you with HP offered as an option card Pro 6200 series, which was the AMD Radeon HD 6450.

http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c02779491

Read the reviews before buying, because I don't know if the game you want to play will work well with this card.

Most 64-bit memory interface low-graphic profile of graphics cards are not designed to play video games.

If you want a nvidia graphics card, map, and the GT610 should work just fine too.

Woman's cell phone upgraded from XP to Win 8 Pro.  All set up, all the upgrades installed etc. disappeared.  Everything was fine, even got most of its programs to operate correctly and not had any problem with the internet.  Then fed Microsoft forces the OS update to 8.1 (PRO) and she lost contact to the internet.

No other device have problems with our home WLAN, regardless if they are connected by a wireless router or cable.  The newly improved PC connects to the router, wired and wireless, but the connection is 'limited' and gives no net access.  Even when you try a portable WiFi connection with a Tablet, the connection remains limited.

Contacted support technique microsoft: they claim 8.1 kernel is so different from 8.0 that the drivers on the PC no longer compatible (even if winning 8.1 was happy enough to re - install while improving...).  They also claim to be unaware that it even all compatible drivers are available for the cards we have.  This is their desire to 'help' ended and they told me to contact the manufacturer of the PC for those compatible.

  • card system upgrade 8560w

    Hello

I want to improve my system card (double) 8560w (with processor i7 2620 M and 2 RAM slots) to a card system quadcore with 4 slots of RAM and a quadcore i7.

Is it possible from a technical perspective? or is there some components that remain outside the system board and cannot make such an upgrade?

Mix all of the configurations possible and manual does not specifically say the improvements from a specific configuration...

    Many thanks in advance,

    Yassine

The system maps are a drop in replacement for the other. It's the one you want:

For use with the quad-core processors in all countries except China and the Ukraine 652638-001

There are of course also a Quad Core processor. You can move all of the Add-ons from the old to the new. Memory, video card, wireless, display, cable etc. Even the heatsink to the processor is part of the video card, cooling system. It's the same on dual core and quad boards.

It's no easy task, by the way. There are a lot of link Remora and subsets.

    Your repair manuals

    System Board on eBay

If you can do the work yourself, it is $ 115 for the Board of Directors, and about $200 for the CPU:

$315 could be an economic proposal to work on a laptop $2000 +. If you were paying me to do I would not touch for less than $3-400 in the work. It looks like a job all day. The manual is not designed for upgraders. It is made for technicians who remove and like-kind parts replacement only. Officially, there is no upgrade, it's kinda a gray art.

  • Graphic/video card [REPLACEMENT / UPGRADE] on the desktop HP Pavilion - help

    I have the following:

    Desktop HP Pavilion Elite m9152p

Upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (updated 11/2009)

The video card seems to have gone out and tried the following:

    Operating system reinstallation

Uninstalled & drivers Reinstalled & restoration

Before attempts above, no changes had been made to software or hardware only led to the same result: the video seems to be fine, and then it crashes and hangs and doesn't eventually having a hard reboot how, the computer loads the integrated video/graphic card.

I need to buy a replacement video/graphics card, but I'm not sure what card I need to be aware of, or that my computer can handle as a replacement and maybe a possible upgrade (not necessary) - any help in this regard would be most appreciated.

    Thank you!

    I think it's a good choice.

The comments seem positive most of the time that the fan seems to be quiet.

I don't know if your previous card had HDMI.

When you install your new video card, it can disable your sound system because of the HDMI audio chip on the video card.

If you do not lose your integrated audio system, after you install the video drivers, reboot the machine, go into BIOS, find the onboard audio setting. It can be set to Auto or disabled. Change the setting to "Enabled". Save the configuration when you have made the change and again when you exit the BIOS.

Upon restart, you will have your on-board audio back.

    Impatience back on your part.

  • What graphics card to upgrade a p6120f

I want to update my graphics card, one which should I use?

    Hello

Here is a link to thepage for your Pavilion for assistance. Your motherboard support page is here.

Your PC has a PSU turned on fairly low at only 250 Watts. This means that an upgrade to a video card that has serious care game will require an upgrade of the power supply as well.

Upgrade video cards for your PC must be PCI Express x 16

A video update to card game card requires at least a 6 PCIe connector power pins. It is not present in the original power supply.

T, no, none that are scary, at least.  Case of small, medium, make sure you do some interesting cable management situations.  Nothing that can't be overcome quite easily, however.  Always try to keep good air circulation in the case.  Can avoid you heat caused outages.

  • Looking to update my video card without upgrading my power 250 Watt on my Pavillion 6837c

Looking for suggestions as to what would be a good update on the cheap card I recently added 14 GB of RAM so the thing is fast enough, that I would like to just the films to be a little more transparent, any suggestions? Thank you! -josh

    Joshua, welcome to the forum.

Any video card that would work with your power supply (PSU), be much, if any, better than the integrated video.  New middle level cards require at least 350W to 400W power.  Therefore, if you don't want to upgrade the PSU, I recommend staying with the integrated graphics subsystem.  In fact, the problem is to find a card that works.  Manufacturers do not give the requirements of power on their lower level cards.

If you decide to improve the PSU, I like Corsair and OCZ.  That would give you many more choices of cards.  I love EVGA, Sapphire, XFX and PNY in that order.

Note: Remember that your system is not as good as the weakest component.  With the CPU and memory that you have a better map would greatly increase performance.

  • M18x R1 - video card problem / upgrade suggestions

So, it all started with a referenced BSOD, atikmpag.sys error

I got my R1 m18x for nearly 3 1/2 years and is the first BSOD I had ever seen, so I was a little worried, especially because it would be only in safe boot mode. After a lot of troubleshooting and running the diagnostics available, were found the following error message:

    Error code: 2000-0332 Validation: 52847

    Test video memory integrity gap

At the end of the day, I wiped everything to factory settings but things were not always works well so I went with a complete reinstallation of Windows 7 Edition family and cobbled together to make it work again with the completely disabled AMD 6970 M (although still plugged) and using the integrated Intel graphics card.

I was not able to understand what is the Validation code, but given the problems, I guess that the graphics card is shot. Can someone confirm that? And if there is some kind of obvious solution that I have not yet tried to solve this problem, I'm all ears (or 'eyes' in this case).

And if the shot - which I suppose that this is what is a good upgrade/replacement? There's a load of information online about possible replacements, but I would really like to hear m18x R1 owners who have direct experience with replacements/upgrades. Ideally, I would like to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card to extend the ability to play in the future without having to tinker with / upgrade to other aspects of the laptop.

Full system specs (to the best of my knowledge and before turning off the AMD 6970 M):

    Hello

We recommend flashing the latest Bios system firmware if you haven't done so already, click here for the download link for the Bios. Try to run the ePSA/Diagnostics test again and if you keep getting the same error code, then you may need to replace the video card.

  • Replaceable graphics card? upgrade-able?

I have a HP pavillion dv9700 which took graphic errors.  I had several screens blue, few and far between, and finally today as I was loading the login screen of World of Warcraft, it froze, audio, video, all frozen like a broken record, so I had to hard reboot the computer.  When he returned, he had a resolution of 800 x 600 and appear to be using the onboard graphics instead of the Nvidia GeForce 8400 m GS.  The drivers are up to date, but Windows 7 doesn't see this card and gives me an error.  World of Warcraft does not load because it tells me that I don't have a compatible graphics card.

"World of Warcraft could not find a proper graphics card, please check that your graphics driver is up to date and that you are not running in SafeMode (VGA).  For more information, please visit http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/driver-update-information"

Please advise on what the next step should be.  This card is replaceable? and if then... upgrade-able?  What this will lead to correct?  I am able to use the machine, but with a lower graphics capability.

He is no longer under warranty and had windows 7 installed on it at this stage.

    Yes, that will fix it.

If you want to go this route, it is your prerogative.

It will require a lot of work and work on a laptop with everything this old overheated, fragile plastic is nothing like working on a desktop computer.
