• How can I disable guides flow layout grid in CC?

  CS6, it was simple: just go to view > Visual AIDS and uncheck the box "grid flow layout guides" in CC option isn't there. And I can't seem to find it. So, how can I disable flow layout guides grid in CC?

• convert a static HTML site in delicate design using the flow layout

  I am trying to shoulder the heavy task of converting my art HTML website to a delicate design especially to appease Google mobile friendly guidelines. I tried first of all to make a new model which was a design liquid three column. I tested successfully, and my editable region has worked very well in the new design. I still have the same problem with Google, it seems that I must do this sensitive technique of fluid page layout. I'll always be able to use my editable region in this technique? It is hard to tell by the tutorials, and I don't understand it as well as the approach of model I used for 10 years. I have over 1000 pages, so I need to know.  My site is http://shawnmcnulty.com

  I mean no disrespect here.  But building responsive web sites is an art.  You must understand the various technical and aesthetic challenges that go into making a good responsive website.

  Mobile users interact differently with their devices.   They need friendship finger and images that are of suitable size for their devices, including the retina / poster of high pixel density.  More important still, mobile users don't need or want to strip excessive bandwidth & too much information.   Content must be streamlined for these devices.   A careful thought and planning goes into a sensitive project.  It is not something simply slap you with widths % & say "I'm done."  It is much more than that.

  You have a wonderful art collection.  Don't short change yourself with a poorly designed, tout-pour-le-amour-de-Google Web site.   You deserve a better product than that.

  Stay away from fluid grid Layouts (inheritance).  They are removed from DW because they are not a good solution.

  Hire a web professional experienced to help you rebuild your site with versicles with databases and a content management system.  IMO, anything less will be a wasted effort.

  Sure.  But a better question is why would you want that?

  I am of the opinion that maintain 2 separate web sites - a mobile, a desktop - is a greater pain in the neck that is worthwhile.  I mean, if you can give all users a good experience with a website, why not just do it?

• Frustrated and need your help - Tungsten E to sync on Vista Ultimate

  Greetings! I use a tungsten e. At work, I am forced to use Outlook (version 2007). At work, I have XP SP3 installed on the computer. I synchronize my Tungsten E there with Pocket mirror. Everything works fine in the synchronization. At home, however, I prefer to use the Palm Desktop as I do not particularly like for Outlook. At home, I have Vista Ultimate installed on the computer. I read this forum and made multiple searches on Google. As a result of suggestions I've read I tried Palm Desktop, 4.14e, 4.14EN and 6.22 - successively, NOT all at once, nor were they all installed at the same time. 4.14 versions seem to be properly synchronize. When they finished, however, nothing new has been added on the desktop even though I know that there is new on my Palm device. 6.22 don't sync either. It crashes usually just here until I have to force it to close. I can't quite afford a new Palm earlier; but wonder if it's my only solution to this frustrating problem. I would really appreciate effective help to solve this problem, given the scenario that I outlined. That would allow me to sync at work and home in waiting until I can improve my Palm. Thank you very much!

  Try to install the relatively new (and free!) utility of www.pimlicosoftware.com called PalmHotsyncSetup.  Supposedly, it adds support for legacy device Palm Desktop 6.2.2 on Vista machines.  Let us know if it helps.

• Text with master pgs for a flow layout Directory-search suggestions

  I had a question about the text flowing with master pages. In the past, I used the automatic text flow to create layouts of large document using the same text frame throughtout. Very easy and it generates all the pages if necessary.

  I'm working on a project which is now approximately 112 pages and is a directory. The directory much throuhgout ads that will need to be placed. Currently I have about 6 pgs masters with main text blocks that will host forms of advertising different and updated text layout that will. Full of pg, pg, qtr pg etc.

  At this point, it looks like I'll need to go through the document by pg pg, select the block of text to the document and connect all the blocks of text that I will. Anyone have any suggestions to speed up this process? I thought maybe I could run the text through the master pg but I have so many master pg and different layouts which will come, it seems it does not work.

  Suggestions? I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I have to go back and forth to adjust individual pages, if I could somehow get the text images to post a link accordingly while I could settle this master pgs and all at once it would fix.

  You don't need to override a master plot to use it. Simply move the cursor loaded above the image area (beware the cursor change to include parentheses around the preview) and click. The framework will automatically replace. In fact, if you override first and "automatic formatting", you will lose your connection to any master images on the following pages.

• The multi page flowed subforms - help/resources

  Im having trouble with the 'throughput' and multi pages subforms.

  I received a copy of the book of JP Terry and also bought the bible PDF - don't seem to have what I need.

  My forms are about 6 pages long each, and I want to expand it a contract based on the interaction of the user (ie they are asked to check a box to add another beneficiary etc. several times).

  I can get individual pages to expand and contract in themselves, but can not get subforms flow correctly across several pages.

  It's really a problem for us, because we do not want large whitespace if the customer does not check Yes for example.

  Can anyone recommend a book, article or other thing on subforms MultiPage flowing

  I'm creating allow page breaks and expand in shape etc and still does not. IM on ARE 8.2 (acrobat 9 pro)...

  I tried to get the shapes "completed" by a contractor, but they wanted to 125 US (270 New Zealand dollars, or about 3 days on average wages here) an hour which is a killer for a start... so any help or advice much appreciated as have been blocked... and for a month now...

  I used the following concepts to solve your problem:

  1. 'invisible' versus 'hidden' - affecting an invisible subform will hide objects all of the subform, but will preserve the white space. For a form expand and contract you must set the visibility subform "Hidden."
  2. Positioned subforms have height - fixed setting a subform set to 'visible' will result in white space when some/all its content is hidden
  3. Flowed hierarchy - for flowed subform to reduce and properly develop all its parent subforms in the hierarchy to the root node must also be sent. A good test is to click on an object in the subform that does not circulate properly and navigate upwards in the hierarchy using the arrow key to the left while keeping an eye on the palette of subform. Any content placed should be changed to Flowed

  This resulted in the following changes in your form:

  1. Edit the event to initialize on this.presence more_trustess = "invisible"; to this.presence = 'hidden ';
  2. Moved out of position sub-tee3 sub-tee4

  Hi, Im using jdeveloper 11g. I've got splitter vertical panel that divides two facets, all in a panelStretchLayout of my page. I put a table in a collection of panels in the first facet where there is a layout of the Panel (scrolling) in computer science and a form in the second part.

  Now, here's what they want to do. When I set the screen divided at runtime, the table (the collection of panels), of course will adjust too dependent on the separator. As it fills the first facet.

  First remove the panelGroupLayout (thouh it is set to scroll and should not be a problem).
  also remove the inline of the panelCollection style, and see if it extends as you wish. You can then add the panelgroup again.
  Alternatively, you can replace the panelCollection with a panelBox just to see that all streteches as it should.

  When the user selects a new customer in the list of tasks, I want that the workflow bounded at zero and start to re - run the default activity.
  So, the user begins editing a client A command, reflection decides against publishing then just selects another customer in the list of tasks. I then want the flow of sub to restart.
  
  Then I thought about: main workflow (containing the task list) called the void stream (content area) when the user selects from the list of tasks. Main flow the customer id in the void stream. The default activity of flow void is a call to the 'executeWithParams' method that then passes the activity stream viewOrders that displays the orders as a fragment of page table. What is the right way to go here?
  
  But I can't make it work.
  
  In my main stream (unlimited), I try to add a call of task flow, passing the customer of a link id in the void stream (stubborn). But JDev tells me I can't do it ("... can't call bounded task flows 'side flow' which refers to fragments of page" ").

  Of course you can use a taskflow bounded with pages and opens dialog, if the edit page command ecr order then you can use a train. on the second page of train, you can add your items.

• Layout help

  I can't seem to figure out how to make a layout in some ways. I searched and didn't really find anything...

  Is that all you want to see in your screen?  If so, the easy way to do this is to add the EditField in the status area (MainScreen.setStatus (.)).

  If you do not want to limit the size of your ListField, you can do this by overriding the method layout() calling setExtent.  However, this assumes that you know how much space you have left for your ListField.  It's relatively easy to find (using getHeight on the EditField), but if the EditField is updated, its height may change and if you need to reduce or increase the size of the ListField to compensate.  I'm not aware of an easy way to do it.  So I hope the setStatus() works for you.

• I am frustrated!  I need help!

  Thanks for providing the files and the URL for the tests. We are able to reproduce this problem at our end and recorded a bug with the developers of Muse. I'm sure that this will be corrected in the next version of Adobe Muse.
