  Qosmio X 500-10T is freezing with more frequency with the message above in Event Viewer.

  I reinstalled Windows 7 to factory settings and added all fixes Windows 7 etc with no luck to solve the problem.

  I also installed last BIOS update.

  How old is the drive?  You can think to replace the hd in the case of the external drive.  It is usually a fairly simple process.  Remove the drive encloser to understand what type of connection of the disk is used.

  It is not really possible for the average user to mount these disks on a PC and read because there is a firmware on the disk partition and file system is based on Linux.
