Events of weird button (for users of Flash CS3 only)

I am doing a map and you can see here:

http://prosol1.com/Dreamweaver/map99.fla

I can't understand why the TX button go (scene 2), but the CA button goes to TX too.  If you look at the code for each button, he seems to be right; I named each button a different instance and they are same on different layers.  During testing I just put a big STAGE 3 text on it so I know if it's going to the real scene 3.  But it's not.  Screenshot of scene 3 is less than

What is the problem with my scene 3 code? Please notify.

scene3.JPG

When you specify a gotoAnd... using scenes, you must also set the image, otherwise it can act as just a gotoTheNextPlaceInTheTimeline.

gotoAndPlay ("Scene 3", 1);

You may end up getting into trouble if you continue to use the scenes with navigation, so that its to early in the game, you could consider using just a chronology and spread sections along it instead of using scenes.  Then you won't have to deal with trying to navigate them... they are known to be problematic when you mix in navigation.

There is no need to specify only for CS3.  Your design could survive currently working in early versions of Flash (circa AS1) with the exception probably have recorded in CS3.  And more recent versions can also watch your file.  But to improve your ability to attract aid, you must provide the code and design in your ad information that there are many people who help here who won't open files for a variety reasons... I usually weigh chancing it.

  • Weird button IRR colours in Internet Explorer (only!)

    When we go to a dialogue window 'Action' of an interactive report region, the colors of the button, for example, Apply, Cancel etc are dark blue with brown writing in IE only we've tested with IE 8 and 9.

    This does not work in FF, Chrome or Safari.

    Someone else has encountered this and anyone know of a fix. We're doing demonstrations this week and; It is not only aesthetic, the color combination is actually very difficult to read.

    (Yes, I, too, wish IE would ever removed from the memory of the man)

    Thank you and hoping that,.

    That's ok. I know more about many aspects of CSS that make about some of the APEX!

  • radio buttons for the front end

    OK, so Im new to LabView and tried to create a user interface for several calibration process.  I tried to use radio buttons for the system is selected (only two options) and depending on whether you chose the resulting calibration procedures that would be system can be chosen when other options are grayed out and disabled.  I got the program so that the first selection process would work, but if you click on the case by default, it automatically goes to the default selection. Any help would be appreciated

    I think what you really want is to set the properties in the event of security system. See attachment.

    Note also that this is a loss for the duplicate items (for example property nodes and diagram constants) in all cases of a box structure. Everything is in any case belongs outside the structure of the case. One necessary instance.

  • Using events QNX in the AIR for BB10 in Flash Professional 5.5

    I want to use the QNX events in my AIR for BB10 application in Flash Professional. As the playbook, am I supposed to add a few swc files in order to use the events I get compilation error?

    I want to use "CardCloseEvent", but it gives compile error.

    Thank you!

    No worries,

    GoTo file > settings Actionscript > library path

    Press on the +, then navigate to the DONKEY

    Note: If it does not allow you to add DONKEY - make a copy and rename it to SWF.  He worked for Flash Builder 4.5.

    For each ALBUM, you may need to click on it and press the I button and change it externally.

    I don't know how Flash Pro builds your packages well-, but put in right place.

  • Missing button for the Propagation of the event in the Script Editor

    Hello

    Anyone who is missing the button to activate the event bubbling in the script editor?

    I know that it was there once, but seems to be gone since I installed SP2 (9.0.0.2.20101008.2.720808) for Designer.

    It only becomes active when you click a subform that has child nodes. So if you add a script that changes the bordercolor on the input of a subform event, this box has become active and allows you to spread the order for all objects contained in the subform.

    Note that she was abducted for SP2 because it caused too much confusion for users. Advanced users who use these facilities must make the changes in the xml source as the provided button.

  • Cannot upgrade/change/install Flash Player versions? For users of ZoneAlarm, here is a solution.

    For the past two weeks now, I was faced with the problem of not being able to properly install my flash version 9 player. I get would be the installation, of course, but they would be damaged facilities. I can't view certain websites in flash, and they stop install me FlashPlayer, even when I have version 9! At least that's what the computer tells me.

    After scouring all over the internet for similar problems, I noticed these cases more correlations. Another dilemma plagued me little time after, I realized that I couldn't change my homepage as well!

    Then I read the various cases of other people and what was striking, but they seemed all use ZoneAlarm firewall products. Soon, I found that the new firewall/OS product feature is the suspect.

    For users of ZoneAlarm Firewall (specifically with detail using OSFirewall versions), OSFirewall might lock your internet settings, startup programs, host file, but more importantly, your ActiveX files! Zone Labs included this feature to make the product much more coldly, but they do not realize that we, the users, need these files as well.

    The solution is simple. Simply navigate to the control program in ZoneAlarm (I use Pro). In the main tab, you should see the "Program Control" options. Below, there is a button "Custom". Click on that and go to the tab "OSFirewall" Alto! There are these turds. Left-click on the second column options will give the choice to leave. If you want to make sure that this unnecessary feature don't mean your settings again, I suggest you give all the permissions 'Allow' (notches).

    NOTE: even if you disable 'Program Control' or OSFirewall, you need to activate OSFirewall and change the permissions. This is because permission settings will be always locked to those present. In big, even if you disable OSFirewall and have the "Install ActiveX" setting refuse, it is still in denial permission. Check the marks all the way.

    If you still have problems, and you still feel that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, I suggest you go tab 'Programs' from the control program. Here, you can view all the applications you have run your PC. Search for 'Macromedia' or 'Flash' of linked files and gives them all access to the internet and all the permissions. If you are not sure, remove all the non-Microsoft programs listed to reset these settings. When you install Flash Player again and you see requests for permission, just "let them".

    PS OSFirewall is not available on the free version of ZoneAlarm. Also, to make sure that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, run a complete spyware and a virus scan. Most of the malware time causes these problems as well. Happy computing!

  • State machine - waiting for user input before going to the next State

    Hello

    I based on the example of standard state machine and would like some advice on how I can prevent labview in the next state until a user clicks a button.

    for example, the current state is 1, it runs through its code and its about to happen at the end, therefore, enter the following State, based on the defined constant "then of States." There are only two choices on how the machine should proceed, rto status to State 5 or 4 bedroom.  However, if I used a "select" function where other State is determined by the Boolean value of a switch, how to set up my code that labview is not just assumne the current switch (probably a 'low' is the value of boolena to use.

    IM is probably not very clear, but hope that you understand my problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, rivers,

    Simply add a case to handle the 2 buttons until the case of the action is over. You can use a ' wait on the UI"function if you do not want to interrogate the buttons. You may experience problems if you use the event structure to implement this. If you use more structure and then 1 event in your code, you can get a problem with UI suspended indefinitely. This happens if a key is managed by a structure of the event in another part of the loop. Locks user interface until he is executed, but it cannot be run because it is in another case. You must use only 1 structure of the event to handle all of your entries, but if you do that, then, you will have the problem to allow only certain buttons at certain points. For example, you want to only 2 & 3 active after action 1 action buttons and the buttons that are used to go to other disabled at this stage steps. It will be messy. Better just to add an extra case after every case of action that deals with the interaction of the user for the next case. In the example that I joined, I placed action buttons in a cluster that is passed to all cases allowing you to get the keys you need when you need it. You could of course just to put the buttons in cases where necessary, but I prefer the first method.

    RGS,

    Lucither.

  • How to write a function (for an ex-Flash-dev)

    Hiya,

    I am coming from a Flash/AS 3.0 environment and I'm getting a bit confused trying to write functions in EA.

    I'm quite new to JS and jQuery so that something is similar to actionscript, I'm still finding things a little confusing.

    I'm working on my first project with EA 2014.1.1 and managed to get away with the built in functions to date, but I now need to do something more custom.

    For example, in Flash, I would write a function to a button and it would go in the first frame of the timeline or a class file:

    function nameOfFunction (event) {}

    do things

    };

    Then the button, we would have a script event listener calling the function:

    myButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, nameOfFunction);

    Can someone explain to me how it works in the EA?

    It seems easy to use for the very basic functions, but anything more requires advanced js knowledge!

    I watched a lot of tutorials but they are for older versions of the edge or that they cover only the basic stuff.

    It doesn't seem to be much out there at all.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    Put the function in the compositionReady

    SYM. Nomfonction = function() {}

    Do all that in the service

    }

    and call it when you want it

    SYM. Nomfonction();

    I hope this helps.

  • Flash CS3 for Flex 3 Communication

    I apologize, although the installation page says "Please use"Attach the Code"in order to include examples of code in the message." The button does not appear in my browser (Firefox).

    I have a UI developed in Flash CS3 by our graphic designer. I have the code written in Flex that has a bunch of backend calculations that must be done when one of the user interface buttons are clicked.

    The UI.swf file have a manager like that on the button:
    (release)
    {
    Collect information
    Send information to the Flex container.
    If (_root.updatePrefs)
    {
    _root.updatePrefs (the_data);
    }
    }

    The main.mxml file includes:

    < mx:Script >
    <! [CDATA]
    public void updatePrefs(the_data:Object):void
    {
    Perform calculations
    }

    [Embed(source="assets/UI.swf")]
    [Bindable]
    public var UI: Class;
    []] >
    < / mx:Script >
    < mx:Image id = 'background' source '{UI}"="0"= XY ="0"/ >

    It is important to note that the UI.swf file was created with Actionscript 2.0 enabled instead of Actionscript 3.0.

    The call in the onrelease handler seems to not work. What must I do to have the UI.swf file to communicate with the Flex file?

    Thank you.

    The two responses presented by Greg Lafrance and ntsiii are correct. This message is to summarize their responses and provide links that are not well.

    AS 2.0 and AS 3.0 work in different virtual machines, thus they do not communicate directly.

    You can use the LocalConnection class to communicate between two virtual machines.

    If you upgrade the CS3 file to use Actionscript 3.0, then you can use the cross-programming method for communication. It's simple, if they are loaded from the same server with the same domain name. They can talk to each other directly.

    Please disconnect from the Internet temporarily, if necessary, by disabling a Wi - Fi connection or unplug Ethernet cable, whichever is applicable.

    In the Mail menu bar, select

    ▹ Connection Doctor window

    Look for the email account (SMTP) out in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. We'll pick the one affected. Make a note of the settings. Click the sign to remove, and then click OK.

    Reconnect to the Internet and add the account back with the same settings.

  • Toshiba 32W1333DN: name of moving/deleting/edit buttons for the missing channels

    Hello

    I just bought 32W1333DN in Sweden.
    But I can't change the position of the channels in the channel list.

    Both the Quick start guide that comes in the box with the TV and the online manual has pictures and details on how to move/remove the channels and change the names of channel in the channel list.

    I'm supposed to go in
    Menu->-> Edit Channel List channel list.

    Once there, I select channels and perform tasks by selecting the buttons.

    But these buttons aren't where I watch my TV.
    Instead of the buttons for * OK * / * Move * / * remove * / * change name * / * lock * I've * OK * / * lock *.

    What is going on?

    In settings, version of the program is * V.2.1.4A * and upgrade software * V.2.1.9x *.

    Hello

    Please take a look in the user manual
    [Manual Toshiba 32W1333 | http://www.toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/W1333-32-English.pdf]

    Page 17 provides information on the list of chains, sorting programs and program locking.

    For example, to move the only channel in the list, you must do the following:
    Channel order can be changed according to your personal preferences.

    SELECT the main key channels list menu, then press OK.
    Select modify the channel list to manage all channels. Use upward or downwards and the OK button to select Edit list of strings.
    The Move option in the channel button list and press OK.
    Change number of screen will be displayed. Enter the desired channel number using the number keys on the remote control. If there is a channel previously stored on that number, a warning screen will be displayed. Select Yes if you want to move the channel and press OK.
    Selected channel is now moved.

  • Event Structure Weirdness

    Last night, SAP posted an interesting question on his blog (The Daily CLAD).

    In short, we create a dynamic event, enter it and generate two events with the data being 1 and 2.  Then we travel a structure of the event that is registered for the dynamic event.  Inside of the event is another structure of event which is also on the dynamic event inside a loop set FOR to run twice.  The data of the event was autoindexed and went straight to the final output.  Now logic would state that the output should be {1,2}.  But when I run it, I get {1,1}.  I thought it was really strange.  So of course, I got to play.

    I changed the buckle FOR to run 3 times.  Oh, it is here and waiting for another event.  If it is to see two events, as it should be.  It's just that for the second event data is not transmitted correctly.

    But let's play others.  I put another LOOP around the external event structure and did run twice.  He does not see the second event at all (that is to say, is there and waiting for another event on the second iteration).  Why not?  It is registered for it?  He saw the first event?  Why wouldn't it the second event in its queue?

    Now if I remove the inside OF the loop and let my loop FOR external, everything works perfectly as I expect.

    Now, it becomes even more strange.  I added a button and changing the value for the button of my external event structure (the two structures event with loops to go twice).  The structure of the external event is also ignorant of my button value change event.

    OR, what the #* $& @* is happening here?

    The problem is not with nested structures event, but with the shared record refnum. An event record refnum should belong only to a single event structure. As soon as share you, you get undefined behavior. It could work very well, he might behave in a totally random way.

    Example of David is wrong for the same reason. He may have worked when he ran, but it is not something that must be invoked. The structure of substantive event should have a separate record node.

  • I lost the button "switch users."

    "I lost my"Start"button"change user"- she says that I have to uninstall the Client Services for Netware"?

    Are you referring to the ability to change user on a single computer to Windows XP (this is called 'Fast user switching')?

    Assuming that you are referring to the fast user switching option, (a) Services the Client for Netware has nothing to do with the fast user switching, and (b) do you mean start > Logoff now does not include the ' switch users '?

    See if the WAS has been disabled--> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279765

    Note that there are 3 different ways to use WAS (once it has been activated)

    • Click Start, click close, and then click switch user.
    • Open (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) Task Manager and then click switch user in the shut down menu.
    • Hold down the Windows key and press the L key)

    Assuming that WAS has been activated and that none of the 3 methods of work, and if it has not been so for a long time, try to use system restore to return to a recent restore point.  Do not go back to a point before that you installed or uninstalled applications.

    If the system restore does not help or it has been too long safely using System Restore, there is a file *.reg at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm (line 34, on the left side) which is supposed to restore WAS.  I have a vague memory that I had a few doubts as to if this could work.  It is, however, worth a try.  Back up the registry first by doing a system restore point or using C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT.  Just for reference, Kelly Korner and Lars Hederer sites are safe to download from.

    Unless you are using Novell NetWare (not very common these days) there is no reason to have the "Client Services for Netware" installed.  Go to network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK) and right-click on the icon for your network adapters.  Click the general tab.  Most individuals should have only 4 points listed under "this connection uses the following items"

    • Client for Microsoft networks
    • File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft networks
    • Internet (TCP/IP) Protocol
    • QoS Packet Scheduler

    If you have anything listed, after return and explain how your computer is networked and that (for example, a corporate LAN).
