EventSystem warning, event ID 4356

A few days ago it started to appear in the part of my event viewer Applications whenever my laptop start:

Event type: WARNING
Event source: EventSystem
Event category: (52)
Event ID: 4356
Date: 22/12/2009
Time: 06:18:24
User: n/a
Computer: [my computer name]
Description:
{The COM event system + could not create an instance of the Subscriber partition:{41E90F3E-56C1-4633-81C3-6E8BAC8BDD70}!new:{58FC39EB-9DBD-4EA7-B7B4-9404CC6ACFAB}.  CoGetObject returned HRESULT 8000401 a.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

The Microsoft link has no information.

It started on 18 Dec/09.  The only thing I did in the way of install things just before what happened is that I finished the installation of IE8, but I don't know yet what day I did it.  Otherwise, just be updated of MSE and my Malwarebytes pro.

Is it nothing to worry?  I do notice about any problems with this system.  Is it possible that I can do this, go away?  He appears only at startup.

It is a Windows XP SP2 (haven't installed SP3 yet because of concerns about compatibility with Intel wireless adapter, but I'll get to it in a not-too-distant future!)  Then I'll be back - on my other computer - ask for help when I can't go on the internet, LOL!)

This laptop is part of a home network behind a router and has a wireless connection to the internet.

Any help would be appreciated. I am considering a system restore, but as the days go by, I'm less inclined to want to restore my system that many days.

Well, firstly, by creating this restore point, you created a restore with the problem in her point.  If you had emptied all, then back on the service, you can immediately create a restore point.

However, IMO, it is not something serious, that I found.  It seems to be mainly in the side server for small businesses, so unless you run, I don't think you'll have problems, other than the annoying warning.

However, we can always dig deeper and see what we can find.  I'll make the call.   :)

Thank you

Some sites on the internet suggest to get rid of this warning by setting these two keys, the default value 0, but they already are.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\AppInit_DLLs HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\AppInit_DLL

There is nothing in the 'Data' column for these two registry keys. And there is no list of DLLS.  The string in the warning count is 0, so I don't really know what is the cause.

I searched my drive C: for what any change to the date and time that this warning for the first time. All have been linked to HP Health Check.

There are two components in C:\Program Files (86) \Hewlet-Packard\HP Health Check\Active Check\objects that have been modified on 16/09/2014 05:31. One was named issuelist.xml and the other XML file Config.INI.

    There are 494 items modified on 16/09/2014 14:19, all the in C:\Program Files (86) \Hewlet-Packard\HP Health Check\Guid

The first Wininit WARNING event ID 11 logged at 16/09/2014 14:37:12. And it records now whenever I start my computer.

    *****

These changes do not come with HP Support Assistant. Was not asked to download and install updates.  These files have been changed without my knowledge.  I did know about this until I picked up everything that has changed which could hold account of the warning I get now.

Anyone know how to stop this warning event ID 11 registered Wininit whenever I start my computer? Someone else had changes in the HP health check recently?  Has anyone else noticed this warning of Wininit event ID 11 their recent event viewer?

Thanks for any help and information,

    Old_geekster,

I know that this is your best advice but I really don't want to go there. Up is simple, get the programs and files on the computer; not so much.  And then there of all the bloatware to get rid again.

Several sites indicate that this is not a problem, even if there is a list of libraries, as it has to do with the code and can be ignored as long as are listed in the DLL acknowledged regarding confidence of applications.

At the end of my Wininit he says the warning message string is 0 and it lists all the libraries. One source suggests that it is a false alarm since no DLL is actually loaded.

I looked for someone who had a warning Wininit where string = 0 and no list. I found this conversation: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/custom-dynamic-link-libraries-are-being-loaded-for/80497a24-1b98-4705-93cc-32d67b5947d1

On the second page, there is this suggestion of No.Compromise on May 24, 2010:

"In the registry, change the value from HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs from 1 to 0, restart and check if the event in question is still connected."

(Also would check if HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs has been set to 1 and if so, change it to 0).

Note the value to check is LoadAppInit_DLLs of type REG_DWORD, rather than LoadAppInit_DLLs of type REG_SZ. »

    May 25, 2010, he adds:

"For the moment, it won't affect anything else, if AppInit_Dlls is empty.  LoadAppInit_Dlls is an indicator that tells Windows to "respect" (load the dll in the AppInint_DLLs) the AppInit_DLLs value.

Older, pre-Vista apps will not know to LoadAppInit_DLLs a value of 1, so the dll they would add to this place could not be loaded.  It can be considered a good thing, because it is a quick way to get the (good and bad) code loaded into the address space of each loaded process user32.dll (practically everything), which deals with the AppInit_DLLs.

New apps are common sense for LoadAppInit_DLLs setting so they put 1 and also add components to AppInit_DLLs.

In your case, it seems that some program added DLLS to AppInit_DLLs, LoadAppInit_DLLs set to 1, and then the dll have been removed (manually? program cleaning? uninstall program?) AppInit_DLLs, but LoadAppInit_DLLs was restored to the default of 0 (or not being is not present at all).

"So, our exploration indicates that Windows based the decision to record the event on"Custom Dynamic Link Libraries loading for all applications"for the LoadAppInit_DLLs parameter, regardless of the content of the AppInit_DLLs value" (it was marked as a solution but the instructions are in the post on May 24, 2010).

I did this and the warning of Wininit disappeared.

    It worked after I changed HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs, but I went ahead and changed HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs .

I never changed anything in the registry before; big no no. But this person instructions and reasoning were clear enough even I could understand and it worked.

    Thank you

    Hello

    ·         Will there be any changes made before this problem?

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Step 2: Check the hard disk for errors.

    Follow the steps in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Check-your-hard-disk-for-errors

Note: When you run the disk check, there is a risk of data loss you can take a backup of your files before you run the disk check.

  • How can I adapt the decision XML report that comes with a warning event?

Through the web determinations warning events can be used.

To make visible warning events in the response following XML must be added to the XML query:

    < typ:show - events > true < / typ:show - events >

When a warning event is present in the XML response I also get a report of decision with report-style = 'basic attributes.

When many warning events are present in the output XML file, this has a negative impact on performance.

It's the reason I'm looking for a possibility to delete or configure the standard decision report that comes with a warning event.

    Is this possible?

You can make smaller decision reports by setting the "silent" or "Invisible" option on attributes (see 'Hide information in a record of decision' in http://docs.oracle.com/html/E38269_01/toc.htm the political Oracle © modelling User Guide)

It's really the only option to change the records of decision.

    See you soon

  • Can't erase HA warning event

I was funding some VM models in our cluster ESX4.1 last week. First deployed VM (Win2k8 R2) fine, but something very strange happened on the second one (same model).

After starting the virtual machine, it hung to halfway across the screen of the BIOS initialization. Absolutely nothing I could do would kill the virtual machine, and when I finally clear some things, I locked resources. I googled was around and found all solutions workaround to try to free it, but eventually had to resort to the migration of all other VM on the host and restart it. I tried to restart the virtual machine and it's the same thing (and finally another host reboot)!

    Except that I have not yet worked the reasons why virtual machine suspended (I'm rebuilding models), another thing that happened during all this was the cluster seems to initiate some kind of event HA. Nothing has changed that I can see and all the cluster nodes now work correctly, but I now have a nice triangle of yellow warning on cluster icon in the tree view of the VC that I can't get rid. If I look at the error, it is said;

HA has launched an action of failover clustering in datacenter yyy xxx

As far as I know, HA works well in the cluster, but I can't seem to delete this warning. Anyone have any ideas?

Change the configuration of the cluster and uncheck "turn on VMware HA. The alert should go away. Once the guests have not configured themselves, reactivate HA on the cluster. I had this same alert and disable/re-enable HA on the cluster makes case for me.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: Software HP errors - HP Active health - event error ID - warning events - 12

I get a bunch of error messages in my Logs of Windows - application pertaining to the recently installed HP Software & drivers for my Photosmart HP 7520. The source is HP health Active. The HP software is fully updated. How can I fix these error messages?

Thanks for the reply Marcelus. I think that the problem is solved. I removed the HP software and made a few corrections to my OS registry. Then reinstalled the HP software without some of the programs extranous. I don't see any errors related to HP for the moment.

It's a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x 64. During installation, I used the Microsoft Automated Installation Kit (AIK) to move my user folder and the ProgramData folder to drive D:\. Apparently, the AIK operation has a few bugs. There are two registry keys that were not updated with the new location of the car and a still show Shell Folders on drive C:\. The affect is that programs created new ProgramData folders on drive C:\ while most have been created on the disk D:\.  I uninstalled a few programs that have been affected by the conflict to register and published the registy to be compatible with the users folder and the ProgramData folder on the drive D:\.  Everything is going well at the moment.

    Parameters of scanning has been:

    • System
    • Errors
    • 1-20 errors, valued at twenty.

What are these errors and they are nothing to worry about?

I have Nero 8 on this system and have an updated hosts file the running here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Not sure, but I may have changed a network setting to activate the new hosts file work properly.

Seen these errors for a while. system works well and smoothly.  No symptoms of malware or infection seen or found.  I would call these software errors as they seem does not affect the operation of the system.

    XP Home Edition SP3 P4 2.8 2 GB RAM

    Joe

    Oh yes :)

I have never used the program VEW and don't think I will check it - I just look at the Event Viewer logs the old-fashioned way (manually) if I think that there is a problem, but that might just be the old me.

It is true that XP Home doesn't have Group Policy Editor, but all policy settings are always available via the registry.

Some malware will change your GP settings and cause problems.

I have a little import registry will correct all the ones I know, so if someone has these symptoms, any flavor of XP, they are running, I'll just send the script because sometimes you will be not able to solve the problem, even if you have not the GP Editor.

The registry always import work - and work well for XP Home or XP Pro.  If you have the symptoms and XP Home, what would you?   Start the import operation of the registry.

If you're curious, off on my SkyDrive it is a spreadsheet Excel (Group Policy settings) who has all the parameters of GP and where they are in the registry.  I do not recommend start searching, but it is useful to know where things are if there is a problem.

I would not allow the connection of a security XP stuff unless you think you're being attacked.  More and verbose logging slows things down.  My Event Viewer Security log is empty.

Find the links to the Microsoft Support Engineer for the most part useless to actually solve a problem (because it help you with your problem), if someone has a question or point of Event Viewer, I usually just send them this:

To view the logs in Event Viewer, click Start, settings, Control Panel, administrative tools, event viewer.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    %SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

The most interesting newspapers are usually the system and Application logs.

Some newspapers such as security and Internet Explorer may be completely empty or have just a few items.  The default settings for XP wants do not connect all this activity, unless you need to solve a problem in these areas.  If you enable logging for them the papers fill up quickly and could adversely affect the performance of your system with all the extras (often unnecessary) activity.

If you have Microsoft Office installed, it has its own newspapers, and they can be empty or occasional boring activity very little or, if there is no problem with your desktop applications.  It's normal.

Not every event is a problem, some are informational messages that things work very well, and some are warnings.

However, no event should defy reasonable explanation.

Each event is sorted by Date and time.  Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s.
Informational messages have white is.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.

Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to the date and time around your problem.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

If you paste an event, it will look something like this annoying system startup event:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7035
    Date: 14/07/2010

    Description:

To get a fresh start on any log of the event viewer, you can choose to clear the log (the log backup is available), and then reproduce your problem, then just look at the events around your show and troubleshoot events that are happening when you have your question.

You can search for events on the World Wide Web and get ideas.  It's where people events they see and then to the top of their questions, ideas and solutions:

  • Windows restarts by itself. Event Viewer says pushed user control.alt, delete or start button when I did not.

    Auto restart is disabled.

Please post that those event (s) so we can see what they look like and provide more information about your system/question:

Here is a method to display specific information about individual events.

To view the logs in Event Viewer, click Start, settings, Control Panel, administrative tools, event viewer.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    %SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc /s

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

The most interesting newspapers are usually the Application and the system.

Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s. information messages have white are.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.   Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to date
and the time around your problem.

Remove personal information from your information
After having stuck if you are forced to do so.

If you paste an event, it will look something like this annoying system startup event:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7035
    Date: 14/07/2010
    Time: 17:54:18
    User: Jose
    Computer: computer

    Description:
The Remote Access Connection Manager service was sent successfully a starting control.

Maybe someday the dialog box 'ask a question' forums XP will ask these questions automatically when a new thread is started so I don't have to ask every time.  It might even be possible to solve a problem in a single response when enough information is provided.

Please provide additional information on your system:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

What you see you don't think you need to see?

What do not you think that you should see?

Fill in the blank: my system was working fine until this happened: _.

If the system used to work properly, what do you think might have changed since the last time, it didn't worked properly?

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • How to use the Microsoft Event Viewer to diagnose the breakdowns of the system

Unless manually modified Windows will log errors in Event Viewer. Information on these errors usually help determine which collapses and why it crashes. Often, they are used to diagnose if the computer shows a blue screen and you are unable to obtain information on the blue screen.

To run the click Event Viewer on start and start typing event viewer in the search programs and files. When the Event Viewer appears in the list, select it and run the program.

Once at the Event Viewer you need to descend to the level of the category. There are three broad categories that you want to fix the errors of. You can get to these categories by the expansion of the group Windows logs on the left side. According to newspapers in Windows, you can see Applications, security, and system. It's three groups where you want to see which crashed and why.

To start, click on the list of applications and you will see a list of events which occurred on the right side. Events fall into three categories

    Information - low

    WARNING - Medium

    Error - high

Information events can be ignored in general these are things just information on your system. This can be an event as a disk defragmentation has been made and has been a success.

Warning events have an average level, because more often that otherwise, so it can be ignored and pose no immediate threat to your system.  Caution do not generally broken systems if your computer is crashing or having problems then is not likely caused by the warning events.

The errors have a high level and if your system crashes that could be due to the error. Since we are talking about the blockages and system errors, we will focus our attention on error events.

In the screenshot, an error has been highlighted and this is what we will discuss.

At diagnosis of the fault of the system you must ensure that you first you know what time your system crashed so that you can make sure you are looking at the correct event log. The newspaper of the events above is just an example of an error and is not one which would be generally cause a system crash. It is only for purposes of dimenostrational.

Now that you have what time the system crash occurred that you want to go to the event viewer and look for the error event. Once find you it you can highlight.

Once selected, you will find information about the event just below. The first thing you want to note is the description. He will often tell you what crashed and why it crashed and is sometimes followed by an error code or at least included in the description.

The error code will help you to determine why something is a failure. You can meet the followed a string of numbers such as STOP error: 0x0000007B (0xEB82784C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).

With the error code can be a file name or a path. Maybe it's not always what causes the error, but it does not say where the error is being generated from, important for the diagnosis of the root causes.

More information, you are able to capture the best of assistance which can often be given. Blue screens can be tricky to solve in the fact that it can be caused by thousands of different programs and features.

If you encounter a blue screen, it is important to go into the event viewer and try to capture information as to why the error occurs.

The event viewer is like your journal of computers. It keeps all this hidden information and it tells the life of computers and what tragic things happen.

This guide is intended to help you understand what is the event viewer and if you experience crashes how to know why and what causes accidents.

If you experience crashes or problems using Event Viewer please use the new post and create a thread in which the issue that you are experiencing. Don't forget if you have accidents, including the information from the logs event viewer also help us solve the problem you are experiencing.

    Oracle 10.2.0.4 Std Ed One

    Windows Server 2003 32-bit

Upgrade to 11.2.0.4 Std Ed One

I posted yesterday on the forum of the community of MOS, but with no response from one day to the next I thought I have cast a wide net here.

Work procedures on a VBox test bench.  For the configuration, I created the virtual machine, installed at 10.2, then it patched to 10.2.0.4.  I then used dbca to create a general database, without the example of scheme.

Before the upgrade, I run utlu112i_5.sql.  He proposed the following additional queries:

    SELECT (translate (value, chr (13) |)) Chr (10),' ')) FROM sys.v$ parameter2

WHERE UPPER (name) = 'EVENT' AND isdefault = "FALSE".

    SELECT (translate (value, chr (13) |)) Chr (10),' ')) FROM sys.v$ parameter2

WHERE UPPER (name) = "_TRACE_EVENTS" AND isdefault = "FALSE".

When the script ends and suggest these queries, I'm still in sqlplus, so I just copy and paste.  They return all two lines invalid.

    Still...

When I actually run DBUA, happens to a warning that says:

Your database has initialization EVENT, or _TRACE_EVENT parameters. Oracle recommends the prior review of the events defined for upgrade.  DBUA will retain these settings during the upgrade.
