• OLT can be configured to use HTTPS?

  We are in the process of restructuring and have an obligation to host at least one agent of load on a part of our secure local network (to access a particular application). So that we could accommodate the controller it too, we probably access them only over http. There's a possibility https access?

  Perhaps a better approach would be to keep the OLT controller "like what" and simply a separate instance of the agent to host on our secure network loading. Probably it just would be a case of opening port 9001 to allow BTA to 'see' the secure LAN agent?

  You can configure Oracle for Web Applications load tests uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Protocol. The procedure consists of the following steps:

  1. create the certificate key file.
  2. edit the server.xml file to use SSL.

  Note: It is recommended to save the server.xml file before you start this procedure.
  Create the certificate key file

  1. stop the server.
  2. open a command shell window.
  3. navigate to EmpAppServer\jre\bin in load tests of Oracle for the installation of Web Applications directory.
  4. Enter the following command sequence:
  keytool - genkey-alias tomcat - keyalg RSA - keystore \tomcat.keystore
  5. enter a password when you are prompted. The default password used by Tomcat is changeit, all lowercase. If you do not use the default value, then the required password in the SSL/HTTPS connector keystorePass attribute in the server.xml file.
  6. enter information about the certificate that you are prompted. This information is displayed to users who attempt to access a secure in your application page.
  7. Enter the password for this certificate-specific key. You must use the same password that was used for the keystore password itself. Press the button automatically.
  8 copy tomcat.keystore to EmpAppServer\server\default\conf, located in load tests of Oracle for the installation of Web Applications directory.

  Edit the server.xml file

  To change the file server.xml to use SSL as well as the certificate that you created:

  1. open the EmpAppServer\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\server.xml file in load tests of Oracle for the installation of Web Applications directory in Notepad or any other text editor.
  2. Locate the following section of the XML file:

  I have a program that downloads an xml file.

  An error is encountered when I by specifying a non-existent URL in the Http connector (in order to produce an error).  I want to display the error on a pop-up message, however, the Simulator gives me an error when I try to view the message.

  My code looks like this (short form):

  An error is thrown in the last line "UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new WaitScreen (error));'.  I know this because when the line is removed, the program works fine (except for the fact that the file is not downloaded).

  When the URL does exist, there is no problem - the file is downloaded and the program does what I want it to do.  So, the problem is when I try to view a popup that says details about the error.

  Someone has any ideas why this might be the case?

  Found a solution to my problem:

• Browser works but not apps

  I use a bb bold 9700 to test my application and I can not connect via the http connector class. Only the built-in browser works. Other applications, such as twitter, unable to connect either. Curiously, the integrated application of pandora plays music very well via wifi.

  I have the wifi active only, no data plan. Code works fine on the Simulator.

  I managed to do work, but the results are not compatible. I also got a new error, tunnel downwards.

  I found one problem was that I was using http instead of https for the facebook api url, then operator error here.

  Yet, it is strange that other applications like twitter could not connect through wifi, but I think it might have something to do with problems of http exception across the system. I don't know, just guessing.

  I know that at some point the embedded browsers and the internal browser worked so that the apps cannot connect by themselves. I seem to have gotten past that somehow, so I'll close this thread.

  Hypothesis of solution:

  Simply run my test code and see what you can find on the status of the wifi adapter and striking http test applications. Joanie helps you.

  Also in Java patch 21494055 had to . We have applied the patches to our DEV server and it seems to be OK, however, it is difficult to test because there is charge of the user very little in DEV.

  We are concerned of applying it to the Prod, in case it goes south and wonder if anyone has done this before and who knows if there is a procedure to regularize if it caused problems with Prod because this server is very high profile!

  You can go to Weblogic 10.3.6.0.11 safely in the production, I see every day.  There is only one question, you must be aware of which seems to be popping up in environments that are consuming a WebService (WSDL).  I would go ahead and add the workaround solution, because it comes to production and someone will most likely add a url to Web service somewhere:

• Is it possible to use a Type of personalized content for the REST service operation messages?

  I try to POST to the third party, documentum of EMC, REST service using service broker in 8.53 peopletools integration operations. Unfortunately, the third party only accepts a content type of 'application/vnd.emc.documentum+json', which I could not send PeopleSoft and use a message definition at the same time.

  In my service operation, if I do NOT fill the request message I can POST to the URI with the such custom content type defined in the property page of the connector in the routing. I have not found a way to do it and also present JSON content on demand, since there is no message associated with the operation. Is it possible to include in this type of message content without using a request message?

  If I DO not fill the request message I can't POST successfully because the message content-type of "application/json" gets passed as the content-type instead of the value in the property page of the connector from the routing. Is it possible to change the content type during the use of a message definition?

  Hi Paul - you can turn on tracing by using the on demand connection as follows:

  1. on the routing set detail header and detail "journal".

  2. Main Menu > PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Service Operations Monitor > Administration > control installation Options

  -Enable logging of the bridge

  -On the registration of demand = 5 (to enable detailed logging)

  Note: On request connection only works for the outgoing synchronous Services. In this case, we should be fine. You will find the by transaction log file on your gateway web server... / applications/peoplesoft/PSIGW.war/WEB-INF/.

  I did it for one of the REST service operations my test (I'm on 8.52.22). I have my content type of message the value application/json to the operation of the service page. On the routing page, I added a connector property content-type=application/vnd.emc.documentum+json.

  The Content-Type of the delivery is sent as HTTP Connector of the target and the content of the message (text/json) Type property is always persistent (see the text in bold above).   I'm working on a similar project at this moment where I'm integrating perceptual Nolij Web RESTful API (Document Management System). I had to resort to using a http client base (common of apache) java instead of broker of integration because of the similar frustrations with REST (cookies are lost, unable to deal with raw binary data in a response message, etc.).

  Benefits: Java provides total flexibility.

  Cons: As we are bypassing framework Integration Broker, we need everything (error handlng, logging, etc.) do it ourselves.

  I'm trying to configure Kerberos authentication in my environment VRA7. I followed the instructions of the reference documentation. I have install the connector, workers and Kerberos authentication providers... and can connect with my domain user name and password via the password authentication provider.

  However, when you try to login, I get the following error message: access.policy.auth.methods.not.valid.

  Access denied because no valid authentication methods have been found 404

  

  When I try the test URL: https://connector-instance.domain.host/authenticate , I got a HTTP 404 status - / authenticate error message.

  When you run the hostname command, is it returns "vcloud"?

  org.quartz.SchedulerException: could not get the hostname! [See nested exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: vcloud: vcloud: temporary failure in name resolution]

  you still have problems with name resolution.

  Make sure that your local host name is vcloud.mycompany.com when you run hostname... or resolve.conf can solve vcloud-> vcloud.mycompany.com

• Cannot connect as Admin user in a new installation of the workspace 2.0

  I was hitting my head on my desk and I was wondering if I lack just something. I'll put in space 2.0 using EGGS and when I set up the username admin and the password that I can not make it unique. In fact, it uses my newspaper AD in when I don't even have these setting again. If someone could just tell me how to change that, it would be great. Thank you!

  https://gateway-va.domain.com/SAAS/login/0 and https://gateway-VA.domain.com/ admin that both take you to the same functionality. The only difference is that the former allows you to connect as a user no AD.

  Safety is always a difficult question to answer. Certainly the stuff to Add - ons.mozilla.org (AMO) go through a process of code by the moderators control it. But source code is everywhere and the review is effective to the person conducting the review the day. SOGO is an established project open source, so if security is really something to worry about, you can always hire someone to browse the source code. That's what AMO. On a personal note I don't have a lot of concerns about the safety of SOGO simply because it is open source, the code can be examined and it would be a brave project hat would mess in their own nest with malware etc in their package.

  However, the connector is only a part of the package of SoGo, a tool to connect to their server of groupware software. A live demo which can be accessed here http://www.sogo.nu/tour/online_demo.html the fact, that it can be used for other things is really just a bonus for the community as a by-product of them use standards based protocols.

  On a practical level several antivirus editors insert anti-solutions modules Thunderbird when you install packages. Here's what your informal appeal as well (they are not on AMO). Given that many of them intercept and decode encrypted SSL communications, I'd be more concerned that they have a backdoor to three letter agencies and I would be on the sogo connector. My trust in the internet privacy died a long time ago! but I still trust free unless there is some reason not, simply because the source code is available.

  I recently bought a replacement authentic (with connector MagSafe 2) 60W MagSafe power adapter for my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) of Apple, after my original power supply frayed and is become a little dangerous.
