• Dead screen MPT V3re unable to access phone for contacts

  The MPT 5.05, have updated it entirely online - 5.31 has. Downloaded Motorola Driver Install 5.20 and makes a clean and reinstall those. Windows XP SP3 recognize phone when it is connected with the appropriate USB (Motorola OEM cable for this phone). The husbands of customers phone, screen went black, AT & T said that they would have to fix the phone before being able to withdraw from the list of contacts and photos. I was able to pull up a cached Google of this version and V3re is not a list, anyone know what model the unit menu system would be the same? I just need the right, left, bottom, top of clicks to get to the settings > connection > then set it to Sync (if I read other posts correctly)

  Here's the scoop... First of ALL, the phone requires a SIM card if AT & T/Cingular! Does not need to interact with the SIM at all, just have to be able to access all the menus!

  The menu structure: different graphical if menu or based on a list, to get to settings. If the graphic base, press Menu then to the right, down, select. So based on the list, press menu, then upward, select. You are now in the settings menu. (For those in my situation with white screen, try one, if it doesn't work, try the other after phone electric bike so that you know you are on the main screen)

  Settings - low, low, low, Select (it comes for connections), down, select (this is for the USB settings). No matter which is "proven" already, press left "shoulder" button (upper left button on phone) for the change. Data always connection as first item in menu and is highlighted even if not the checked item, press Select to choose.

  Plug USB cable, open MPT, Contacts, click Refresh on the side of the phone, look at the contacts to be paid.

  MPT will grab also the photos on AT & T phone - had read somewhere it wouldn't, it does.

• How to fix this error: "MPT Boot ROM - no device found!"

  Ideas: my IBM Intellistation Z Pro 6221 boot from IDE hard drive. Error message "MPT Boot ROM - no deices found!" error message is displayed. Machine will start from a USCSI drive when it is connected. IDE drive is then recognized as drive D: to hard drive which does not physically OK. Normal order of BIOS. While that started from the drive SCSI Windows detects the IDE drive and after a reboot, I get a message that says that the ROM of the MPT Boot has been installed successfully. But when I disconnect the SCSI disk and then try to boot from the IDE, I again get the error "MPT Boot ROM - no device found!"

  Does anyone have a solution that will solve this problem and get the IDE drive to boot normally again?

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  The ROM of the MPT Boot part of the SCSI controller.  So, when you disconnect the SCSI drive, you will get the error message.  If the SCSI controller is a card, you can remove it, and then check your BIOS settings to start the command and make sure that the BIOS sees your IDE drive.  If you have problems with the hardware being not recognized before it starts with Windows, then you will need to contact your OEM for support.   I use the USB cable to connect the phone to my laptop WinXP SP3.

  It's that - the phone is not detected - even after 30 minutes - pls see instant.

  If I can open the card as a removable storage folder in Windows.

  The phone is not locked.

  I have Windows 7 and XP I had no problem with my Tundra recognized by MPT, but when I've upgraded to windows 7 TPM does not recognize the phone.  I reinstalled the USB driver, but still no luck - suggestions?

  Do you have the MPT install CD, if so, what version... 4.x or 5.x?

  You may need administrator privileges on the PC for updates.

  It is possible that while your PC updated from Windows XP to Windows 7, part of the MPT program has been corrupted and need to be uninstalled and reinstalled.

  I see a problem with our HS22 after an upgrade from 4.1 to 5. On the 8th, we have 2 of them disconnected from the VCenter about once a week. When the host disconnects it does not make a reposonse HA and move the machine virtual. VM will continue to function normally on the disconnected unless I try to connect to the console for ESXI 5. Loging in hard ESXI console crashes the host and drop the virtual machine. The host logs displays the following error.

  So far, we tried the following.

  1. material update all firmware HS22 with the LSI controller and the IBM Online SAS.

  2 found and update of the LSI drivers on the ESXI host

  3 amazed both does not host and re - install a new copy ESXI 5

  I checked that the HS22 and all equipment is listed in the compatibility list. IBM also list ESXI 5 as it is supported on the HS22.

  So far since the wiping and reloading ESXI 5, we were running about a week without failure. I just wanted to leave a message here and see if anyone else is seeing on of HS22 and found a solution that I have not listed.

  Maybe that's a problem with the remapping of interruption. I remember reading somewhere that the IBM HS22 is not compatible with that.

  Motorola Phone Tools is not a free software. You need to version 4.21, at a minimum, to work with the V195 according to http://mptlookup.avanquest.com/. Motorola Phone Tools cannot be legitimately purchased directly from Motorola via the link below. The version you have is more extensible.

• How to use MPT v 3.0 on V188 to migrate V197

  I have a 4.5 years V188 and an unused MPT v 3.0 CD and mini-USB/USB cable. It is now time to migrate to a new V197.

  I want to export my V188 to Excel on my PC files, edit and clean em before you load the data on the V197.

  If I go to Motorola Support line I get a free update to MPT v 5.0? - and it will then be retro-compatible with the V188?

  If the answers are 'Yes' and 'yes', what are the problems (if any) should I expect, and are there workarounds for them?

  If not, can I use just the MPT 3.0 to migrate my phone #s etc. directly from the V188 to the V197?

  Will TPMS 3.0 give me all the features I need for editing and synchronization of phone numbers - I use my phone only for phone messages, I have no text, and I'm not into multimedia stuff.

  The V197 must MPT version 4.21 to be compatible with the MPT. It is still compatible with version 5 of MPT. Given that the MPT 3.0 is so old it don't will probably not update to version 4.21 as needed by the V197. In addition, the V188 is only compatible with MPT up to version 4.6.Xx.

  Motorola and its authorized dealers don't sell MPT version 3 or 4 more. So even if you can find them for sale on the internet I can't recommend their purchase because they can be pirated copies. They are two other alternatives to move your contacts to your V197. 1. move your contacts on your SIM on your V188 and then put the SIM card in your V197. Then buy MPT version 5 of Motorola and synchronize your V197 to the computer. Once sync had Outlook, combine numbers in contacts and synchronize them then return to the phone memory. 2. enter contacts manually on your PC in Outlook and then sync with the V197 using version Multisupport 5.21 d (the current version of the TPM at the time of this post)

• wINDOWS 7 Pro built in Magnifier dpes mpt wproperly

  I used the win 7 Pro for more than 2 yeats and resorted to the magnifying glass for more than a year because of the macular de-generation. for the last month about the magnifying glass appears and power off when it is placed on the taks bar, if I have a window open to the minimum or maximum Magnifier lights, if I'm reading a file drop-down menu using the magnifying glass he falshes very difficult to locate the pointer which is at the center of the zoomed area that is necessary to see what I'm trying to click. I have to use a magnifying glass because I can't do the screen is brighter, this eye problem requires either a broad view of the text or text that is "BOLD" that has a contrast of brigher.

  It was about 4.5 months that we published our last episode.

  We released a new this morning and it has not yet revealed on iTunes.

  In the past, the new episodes used appears on iTunes in an hour or two.

  I wonder if this is a regular time since its been awhile between the eps or if there is something, we have to let iTunes know that we are back?

  Your new episode will appear when you subscribe in iTunes, so the power supply is OK.  When you add a new episode to your stream and download it, it immediately appears for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the stream directly and the store is not involved.

  However, due to the multiplicity of the podcasts in the store (in thousands) the store caches the flow and it checks updates periodically. For this reason, there are usually 1-2 days for new episodes to appear in the store: sometimes it can be lower, and sometimes the whole process seems stuck and it may take several days.

  The delay you see is quite normal; You can expect the new episode to appear in the store in a day or two.

• Motorola Phone Tools install problem

  HP Vista 64-bit. Can I get an installer loaded, but it will not install the program completely. I had my XP and I think that the problem has to do with Vista. Is there some kind of patch or something to make it compatible? Thank you.

  What version of MPT do you have? I think you need V5.0 for Vista.

  I used "Reset all settings" option, but it does not work.

  I think I need to reinstall the operating system of the mobile phone: Linux/Java, but I don't know how to do it.

  Can someone help me and tell me how I can reinstall the operating system?

• Save contacts from Quantico?

  I have looked around a bit and do not see how to back up my contacts on my new of Quantico W845. Have used the years with my razor and Razor2 mpt, but need something a little more rugged and it does not work with my Quantico. Any ideas on how to get my contacts on a PC to keep a little safe.

  • My carrier... USC also has a back-up contact free service, but do not know if all carriers to offer this.
