Example of current playback

Hello

I was wondering if there are examples on how to use now playing with the media player?

As I would like to be able to use the play / pause button on the side of the unit to stop and play the audio in my application and I also had that to be able to show what the user listen to by adding it to their BBM - is this possible with now playing or I have to do something with BBM as well?

Thank you

There is a sample BlackBerry application that does just that:
https://github.com/BlackBerry/Cascades-samples/tree/master/nowplaying

I have not loaded, but my guess is that it updates automatically BBM listening to field if the user enabled the option 'Show what I'm listening to' in the settings of BBM.

  • Current playback position exceeds the buffer size? VB6 with NIDAQmx 9

I have an application written in VB6 that does HAVE and AO, with both using the Ctr0 internal as the clock to check that they are in sync.   It seems to work very well.  I use a USB-6212 and a recent version of NIDAQmx.

I am tracking the current playback Position by calling DAQmxGetReadCurrReadPos_VB6 in the EveryNCallback routine.

Strangely, the value for each call correctly increases the number of returned samples (for example, 128), but instead of round package when it reaches the upper limit of the buffer (for example 16 * 128) it keeps growing to infinity.  No error is reported by the call to DAQmxGetReadCurrReadPos_VB6 or anything else.

Am I misunderstood something?  This function seems to be to just return the total number of samples read, not the position in the buffer.

What I expect the value of the current to be playback Position:

128, 256, 384, etc..  the limit of the buffer for example 16 x 128 = 2048 how he could start over at 1 (or zero depending on the way which you set up your berries).

    Hi afmstm,

The behavior you're seeing is indeed good, and I agree that the description that it is misleading.  The current description says:

"In the samples per channel, shows the current position in the.
    buffer.

The description should be interpreted as:

"In the samples per channel shows the current position the acquisition."

So yes, for a relative position within your stamp, you must perform a modulo operation.

That being said, it's not the same thing as 'total number of readings/a. Since the beginning of the program' as you say.  This would be the attribute Total of samples by acquired chain .  It is rarely a chance where these two alignment attributes.  For example, to read N samples successfully the following must be satisfied:

Total samples by acquired channel - current read Position = N

Another distinction is that you, the user can change the current Position of playback using the properties relative to and Offset .  By default you will read from the current playback Position , which creates the behavior your described.

I know it can be confusing, but this level of manipulation of streaming is a very advanced concept of DAQmx.  Let me know if this raises questions or concerns more!

  • Example Configuration (INI) playback

    Hello

I modified the example "Read Configuration (INI)" to write a new configuration file if the file does not exsist.

But it does not work. I can't understand where I made a mistake?

It will create an empty file. But nothing else. No ether errors!

    Concerning

    msskov

    I use LW2013

    Work as expected.

The example you use is key of READING. If the key does not exist, the VI returns the default value (from Key.vi of reading help).

So it does not create the key/section, it does not update the file.

If you want to create the sections/keys, you should check if the key/section is already available ("found"? the key parameter). If so, fine.

If this isn't the case, you must call an entry key, adding this section/key to the INI.

  • my media player has suddenly two or three copies of all my songs and videos

    Title original: Media Player

all of a sudden, my media player has two or three copies of all my songs and videos and even the media player files, as its brightness and contrast tutorial videos. Help.

    Hello

To delete duplicate entries, click on another feature tab in the drive (for example the current playback), and then click library.

If it eliminates the duplicate of your library entries, you can right click on the music file and click 'open file location '. To check if the location of the file is the same or different. This will let us know if there are entries in double or not.

If only a small number of duplicate entries exist, you can delete those invalid manually by double-clicking the invalid entry and then clicking on delete.

If you have a large number of entries in doubles in your library (or if your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library.

Method 1: To resolve this problem, clear theWindows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.

    c. Select all files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

Method 2: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. If you run Windows 7, click Start, run, % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    c. Select the folder Media Playerand then clickdelete on the file menu.

To delete duplicate entries, click on another tab of feature in the Player (for example the current playback), then library.

If this does not remove duplicates from your library, you can add it to the library of the computer search dialog box to analyze a file on your computer the entries double invalid pointing. The player will remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder.

    Method 1:

To use the Add to library dialog box search for computers.

    1. start Windows Media Player.

    2. press F3 on your keyboard to open Add to the library of the computer search dialog box.

    3. click on the Browse button to locate the file on your computer so that your library contains invalid entries. Specify the location of the folder in the box look in.

If you are not sure what duplicate in your library entry is not valid, you can add a path column to display in your library.

    4. specify the folder on your computer that matches the path invalid file displayed in your library.
    Click on the Search button.

The player will search for digital media files and playlists in the folder that you specify and remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder. • In Media Player 12 double albums?

I use the 12 media set.  I have a few albums that appear as duplicates. We show all mp3 files and the other shows the wma files.  When I go in the music directory, I just file for this album, and it shows all the wma files.  If I do a search for one of the titles of song file in the directory of the music, I get 2 files found, one as a wma and the other as an mp3 player, both showing the location of the directory even album.  Anyone has any ideas on what could cause this?  It's driving me crazy.

    Hi JoeMagie,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft community!

I understand that the songs are duplicated in your Windows media player. I will try to help you with this.

To delete duplicate entries, click on another feature tab in the drive (for example the current playback), and then click library.

If you have a large number of entries in doubles in your library (or if your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library.

Method 1: To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. for Windows 7: click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

  • I have to remove the duplicate files, but having problems by selecting more than one file in the player at the time.

I have to remove the duplicate files, but having problems by selecting more than one file in the player at the time. How can I select multiple files at the same time so I can just delete them. I used to be able to do this in previous versions of Media Player, but this function seems now blocked or unavailable. The problem is this: through previous use of media player, it plays all my multimedia files several times whenever a device support has been added. He would try to save the files on my main drive, but since there is not enough room this would save the files somewhere else. This happened several times, I suppose, because when I upgraded my computer and a media scan was conducted he found duplicates of all my media various times of at least 6-8. I've consolidated since my plates on 3-disc multi to, but have now records duplicated hundreds and thousands of duplicate media files. Previous versions of Media Player would allow me to select all files and then delete them both of the reader, but also from my hard drive. So now I'm stuck with more than 300 GB of duplicate media I have to search line by line through all my hard drives to find each duplicate both, unless I can get media player to do what it can. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. is Windows media player files in double creation during playback of music files?

To delete duplicate entries, click on another feature tab in the drive (for example the current playback), and then click library.

If this does not remove duplicates from your library, you can use the Add to library dialog box to search computer to analyze a file on your computer the duplicate entries not valid-pointing. The player will remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder.

Complete the steps above for files that are stored in the hard disks.

Method 1: Use the add to Library dialog box search for computers

    (a) start Windows Media Player.

    (b) press F3 on your keyboard to open Add to the library of the find computers dialog box.

    (c) click the Browse button to locate the folder on your computer so that your library contains invalid entries. Specify the location of the folder in the box look in.

If you are not sure what duplicate in your library entry is not valid, you can add a path column to display in your library. Specify the folder on your computer that corresponds to the path not valid file displayed in your library.

    (d) click on the Search button.

The player will search for digital media files and playlists in the folder that you specify and remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder. If not valid in double entries point to other folders on your computer, repeat this procedure, specify a different folder every time.

If only a small number of duplicate entries exist, you can delete those invalid manually by right-clicking on the invalid entry, and then clicking Delete .

For large double-number of entries in your library (or if all your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library and delete the files.

    Method 2:

After you remove the duplicate entries, run the troubleshooting of Windows Media Library settings to solve this problem.

  • 9219 current conversion on the current value of DMA FIFO sampling

    Hi all

I'm sampling two 9219 modules (24 - bit universal module) in a FIFO I32 on the FPGA target (9072). I want to convert this example in current value for keying in my host vi. The bed a +/-25 module entered my 24-bit in a 32-bit memory location. I was originally performing the conversion on the host as follows.

1 ENTRY converted I32, then DBL

    2. (ENTRY * 25) / ((2^24)/2 - 1) = CURRENT (mA)

    3. CURRENT (mA) * SCALE = VALUE

My values are very high. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Gaussy

    Hello Gaussy,

Please contact National Instruments!  There are a few questions that I had for you in order to solve this problem.  My first question is what version of LabVIEW you use?  If you use a LabVIEW 8.5 then do you mean instead of I32 U32?  If you use a LabVIEW 8.6 have you thought about trying to use fixed-point, you don't have to worry about the conversion?  Here is a knowledge base article that speaks a bit more on this topic.

After looking through your conversion algorithm, I couldn't see the specific defects.  I was wondering if you could post the values that you receive from the FPGA target, then the values after your conversion.  In addition, it would be good to know what values expect you and why.  This will help us determine if the real signal of the module is disabled or if the conversion is incorrect.  I hope this helps!  Have a great day!

  • Windows 7 Media Player interrupts playback to change the media when the disc (not AutoPlay)

Media player stops the current playback and start playback of a CD/DVD media when inserted.  It's not Autoplay - AutoPlay dialog box appears in addition to changing media WMP.  There seems to be a switch on the menu Options to control this behavior.  How do I turn it off?

Amazing that it is still ongoing!  I came across this thread, because I used dbpoweramp to copy the CD while he was trying to watch some training videos (WMV) in WMP12 (Win7 Pro, 64-bit)

Whenever I put in a CD Ripper, WMP has STOPPED playing the video and ON it's OWN would bring the CD to play.  WHAT?

Automatic change to AUTOPLAY, AUTORUN, RIP settings have no effect. Those who point to them did not read even two or three posts here.  Sigh.

It's too bad that the old days of RealPlayer and Quicktime!  Networks of Nice RealPlayer that many died because of their heavy handed tactics!  Even apple supported some of their heavy handed ways (iTunes is still a CPU hog!)  It is a horrible BUG in WMP.  Yes, it's a BUG if someone calls is a characteristic or not.

Her trying to get around now is to watch the video in SKIN mode.  This BUG does not show his head.  The BUG will appear if I watch the video in mode 'Now Playing'.

Man, it's bad for MS REALL.  More than two years and they cannot even acknowledge the problem.  Sigh.

  • Video playback again

People somehow samples that come with d, including the recent 6.0, contain no examples of video playback (?) Instead there are articles and even video how to implement it.

But there are still a few unanswered questions.

Here is the latest article on the implementation of video (and audio) playback:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/rim/attachments/rim/java_dev@tkb/15/1/Audio_And_Video_Playback.p...

And here is the piece of code to it:

    Player player = Manager.createPlayer("file:///SDCard/vid.3gp");
    player.realize();
    vc = (VideoControl)player.getControl("VideoControl");
    vc.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, this);

    First question.

According to the description of USE_DIRECT_VIDEO second parameter in this case "must be a javax.microedition.lcdui.Canvas or a subclass of it', but 'this' here (see article) is screen, not canvas.
    So, why work?

    Next piece:

    GUIControl gc;
    if ((gc = (GUIControl)player.getControl("GUIControl")) != null )
       add((Field)gc.initDisplayMode(GUIControl.USE_GUI_PRIMITIVE, null));

If it works on JDE 6.0 for 9800 Simulator this second attempt to call initdisplayMode will be java.lang.IllegalStateException: initDisplayMode already (!) successfully called.

RIM guys never try to code they publish? Just rhetoric

And of course, there's third way that I used before 6.0:

    videoControl.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_GUI_PRIMITIVE, "net.rim.device.api.ui.Field");

But the problem with this line, it is that when I run the mp4 file I could only hear her and no image!

On previous OS 4.6, 5.0 it works OK, but not on 6.0.

I tried first approach and it works on 6.0.

If the last question, why is the behavior of Media player so contradictory?

    LKO

Looks like the "problem" is solved!

To make it work in OS 6.0 , it is a must to have this in the code:

    Field fld = (Field)vc.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_GUI_PRIMITIVE, "net.rim.device.api.ui.Field");
    ....
    add(fld);
    ...
    player.start();

I mean, in previous versions, it was not necessary.

It runs in full screen mode (vc.setDisplayFullScreen (true) ;) and 'field'

    (vc.setDisplayLocation (20, 20);  vc.setDisplaySize (200, 200); ) modes.

  • All of the examples of projects now need export/import/config-hokey pokey?

I'm working my way through using Flash Builder from day 1, and when I tried to change a workspace for the examples that I have received a warning that there could well be problems with the current version of FlashBuilder and examples of projects. I was directed to this page: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/899/cpsid_89996.html

Can someone tell me if I just made a mistake, or if this is necessary for each project? If the latter, it seems a bit strange do not provide examples of current projects to the current version of FlashBuilder, whereas as part of the evaluation process, they are, indeed, material sales.

I hope that I will be thick - do not hesitate to tell me!

    Best regards

    Jaffa,.

Available for FIAW current project files are fully compatible with the current version of Flash Builder.  Please keep in mind that the alert you receive is only a warning.  I am sure that the project files will be updated in the future, but until they are, we can always use them as they are.

  • How to interpret the data cache setting and the current value of data cache?

How to interpret the data cache setting and the current value of data cache? We found that even, we configure a larger data cache in Essbase 2 GB for example, the current value of the data cache is always much lower. Does that indicate an activities of data at very low recovery or something else?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

When a block is requested, Essbase searches the data for the block cache. If Essbase is the block in the cache, it is immediately accessible. If the block is not found in the cache, Essbase in the index for the appropriate block number and then uses the index of the block entry to retrieve from the data on the disk file. Retrieve a block requested in the data cache is faster and therefore improves performance.

So as you say that its current value is much lower then % is very low, that a requested block is in the cache of Essbase data.

  • Difference of measured values

    Hello

In fact, I write a vi using while loop to measure the voltage values of the difference.

    for example:

I'm able to the power supply voltage v1, x volts. And this loop continues for like 10 times.

    IE v2, I measure x 1 volt to the v3, I measure x 2 volts.

I just need to find the difference in the measure of tension that is (x 1-x), (x 2 - x 1), (x 3 - x 2) and so on. And then to get the maximum value of the difference.

Can anyone help me that. Appreciate a lot!

    Thank you

I would use a loop since you are iterating a set number of times.  Use a shift register to store the previous tension.  You can then subtract your current playback to the previous reading.  Send this output by a tunnel of autoindexing.  You want to cast the first value (x -?) by using the subset of the table and then you can use the table Max & Min to get the highest difference.

I hope that this example will help.

My program involves several DAQ tasks that run in unison, as in the example of "Multi-multifunction-Synch I-AO. Works very good in general, but if anything it either never interrupts the flow of the program, I'm stuck permanently with the error 200279. Here is the precise relationship:

Error 200279 occurred at DAQmx Read (analog 1-d Wfm NChan NSamp) .vi:1

    Possible reasons:

Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was already available, but has since been replaced.

Increase in the size of buffer, most frequently the reading of data or by specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples would correct the problem.

    Property: RelativeTo
The requested value: current playback Position
    Property: Offset
    Required value: 0

    Task name: input analog

And once I am in that State, the only way I can find out is to kill and restart all my tasks. There must be a better way? How to resync the computer firm asking former samples and welcomes those who are there NOW?

Here are a couple of reliable means to bring about this problem: 1. reach a breakpoint during debugging. It's very frustrating when you can't use a breakpoint without destroying the same operation you are trying to debug. 2. the user presses a button that opens a file dialog box. Even though my main program consists of several parallel loops, and the dialog file is called from a DIFFERENT LOOP that makes the acquisition of data. It's a problem anyway. How can I make a file dialog box without stopping my stream of data acquisition along the way?

Help much appreciated. This problem stop my program to be the work of industrial power that needs my scientific users.

    Thank you

You can specify DAQmx what samples in the buffer to read.  By default, DAQmx will read the 'current reading position.  What you see is that the data not read from "current playback position" got too written with new data.  Basically the data that was in the 'current reading position"no longer exist, and try to read from that location you causes the error you see.  DAQmx does not specify where it reads data since.  You can use the property Read DAQmx node to specify what DAQmx reads Relative to, but also a shift here in the buffer.  It is possible that if you detect this error, you can read from 'most recent sample' for a reading.  This would throw essentially all of the data in the buffer between the "current playback position" and the most recent sample in the buffer, but would allow your application to continue, as it is equipped to address the shortcomings in the data.

    Hope that helps,

    Dan

  • NEITHER 9215, 9263 analog operations

    Hello

I'm doing a simple entry that and power: I generate the signal using a Tektronix (30 Hz, 2 V p - p) signal generator and consider it as an analog input of 9215 using DAQ Assistant-1. Multiply by 2, and then send it as an output analog by 9263 using DAQ Assistant-2. Later, I see this singal on an oscilloscpoe. Here are the settings for the acquisition of data Assistants:

    Assistant DAQ-1:

    Mode: continuous

    Price: 1 K

    N ° of samples: 1000

    Clock type: internal

    Assistant DAQ-2:

    Mode: continuous

    Schedule use of waveform data

    Clock type: internal

When I run the VI, it stops after about 25 seconds, which gives the error:

Error 200279 occurred at DAQmx Read (analog 1-d Wfm NChan NSamp) .vi:1
Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was already available, but has since been replaced.
Increase in the size of buffer, most frequently the reading of data or by specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples would correct the problem.
    Property: RelativeTo
    Corresponding value: current playback Position
    Property: Offset
    Corresponding value:
    Task name: _unnamedTask<6>

    Why are they bad?

By test error, I found that by the acquisition of data Wizard-1 mode to "N samples", I was no longer getting this error. However, then a big delay time has been introduced. that is if I change the frequency of the signal (say 15 Hz to 30 Hz), then this change is reflected on the oscilloscope 10 seconds later. Why is this happening? And how can I solve it?

I enclose the dig that for reference.

    Thank you

    Hi Mandar_K,

Thanks for the reply and I hope that your well today!

It is an example that I did with a synchronized AI read, some treatment, then AO. This seems to be what you need.

If please take a look (LV8.2) and let me know what you think,

    Kind regards
