Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums.
According to the description, it seems that you are facing in the APPCRASH Explorer.exe for error as you get an error message "Windows Explorer has stopped working". I will certainly help you fix this problem.
(1) did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
This problem may be due to one of the following problems:
- You are using an outdated or corrupted video driver
- System files on your PC can be damaged or do not correspond with other files
- You may have an infection of viruses or malware on your PC
- Some applications or services that are running on your computer may be responsible for Windows Explorer to stop working
Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps from the link and check if it helps.
Error: Windows Explorer has stopped working
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2694911
Important: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, you must type the password or click continue. - On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
- When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.
Note: As upgrade on the spot is the final solution, I suggest you skip this step before reinstalling the operating system. As it takes the same amount of time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.
Method 2: I also suggest you to follow the steps in the article mentioned below and check.
Windows Explorer may hang in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2515325/en-us
You can also check the following thread, which talks about the similar issue:

Exception code 80000003 crashes ie 7 and sidebar on a clean install of Vista Ultimate 64
Hi all
I want to thank everyone in advance * beep * 1 built in (DVD burning directly downloaded from the microsoft technet web site).
Virus/Malware protection: no (because I've been connected to no more than 3 minutes, did not visit all other sites as microsoft.com or google.com on this pure install and am sure it's not either 99.99%). I'm also behind my wireless linksys integrated in the firewall (model #: wrt54g), although my computer is directly connected by a LAN cable.
I partitioned the 640 GB HARD drive in a 200 GB C drive and 400 GB of storage using Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise server.I did a complete reinstall of Vista Ultimate 64 bit (even once with Service Pack 1 built in). I really don't want to do an upgrade, like #1) I already activated my new copy of Vista Ultimate 64 and also #2) I don't want any additional programs installed with the original operating system on the system (Windows Vista Home Premium).
I backed up my old Vista Home Premium and Vista Ultimate (pre and post authentication).
I have installed any other programs.
I tried to download the current drivers for my system to...
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?OS=2100&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3820307
who has not solved the problem. In fact, install the drivers HD Audio actually killed all my sound capabilities (which was running under the ultimate copy before hand).Just in case it is important, I changed the drive letters to the following
C drive: remains the same
Drive D: (original Image) has changed to drive F ("F' actory_Image)
Space additional storage on the HARD drive (from partition). S Drive created (by Yann "S").-Errors-
My question arrise when I open IE7 and try to goto several websites which (I'm fairly certain) makes a system call the IE 7 plant. I'll post all the errors below. This same exception also blocks the windows sidebar in a few moments of implementation of the operating system. The following errors are created when in stall 'certain' drivers (from memory, I think that the HD Audio driver)
"This program could not have installed correctly".If this program was not installed correctly, try reinstalling using settings that are compatibiel with this version of windows.
Here are the errors thrown by the sidebar and IE7.

Jayjay,
Thanks again for the quick response. Finally, I discovered that I have installed a copy of the bad/debugging of my BONES from the site web technet. While I'm still holding my breath, I have not seen any recurrence of the previous major problems (i.e. crash IE7 & sidebar). I'll see how the drivers for my sound card, but it seems that windows sees as HD Audio device. I can just "let sleeping dogs lie" and call it all off. No matter, I'll make a backup of this 'success' more returned.
Thanks again for all your support.
Also, FYI, it's the 32 and 64-bit version of ie7 crashed. I think it had something to do with the file "mshtml.dll. Anyway, that's how I found the solution to...
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/ASPNET/32760139/IE7-crash-mshtmldll-Err.aspx
It is a 32-bit system, it also seems to describe a lot of problems that I came across.
With audio beeps, I ended up having the work to reverse the default windows (again, it is in the older operating system).
In addition, some other oddities that I would like to post (in case some unfortunate soul happens to have the same problem and stumbles on this page).
(1) during startup (before the windows loading popped up bar), it would always be 'check' my hard drives connected, say something to the extent of the "Drive?: checked and OK" or something similar.
(2) this particular build continued throwing exceptions to a player that I had ever installed software, wording of error below is very accurate (for the part that I copied).
Failed in the declaration of report file
d:\rtm\enduser\officeconvertors\src\core\html\imain.c, line 352.
Cannot open the registry key for converer! In any case, for those who want a solution, try to upload a better copy of Vista. I personally just installed the Vista Ultimate Edition with Service Pack 2 Beta.

Display crashes, EXCEPT when the games
Comprehensive have searched the net for my problem and I have not found a solution that works. My display driver crashes randomly when surfing the web. My screen turns off, but the computer still works, I know because I always hear people in video chat and youtube videos. The only way I can prevent that from happening is to launch a game. If I don't play a game crash. I can also minimize a game to the taskbar and not crash. I thought that if I adjusted the tension on my graphics card it would keep happening, but unfortunately after trying several times it does not work. I'm initially thought it was my graphics card, but have since passed on the old card and have the same problem. I also tried to disable all the services. Updated my motherboard Bios. Graphics drivers updated, restored drivers graphics. Tested my ram and checked my power options in Control Panel.
My system:
Core 2 Quad 9550 Q
Motherboard Asus Rampage Formula
8 GB kingston hyper x ram cl5
Gigabyte Radeon R7 260 X graphics card
Windows 7 ultimateAny ideas would be appreciated
Hi Michael,

If you click to restart, then the Memory Diagnostic tool Windows starts check and automatically restarts and displays the result.
Method 2: update the BIOS and drivers from the chipset
Sometimes, your computer has the latest drivers for chipset and BIOS.
Please visit the website of the motherboard manufacturer for the latest version of the BIOS and chipset drivers and install it on the computer.
https://www.ASUS.com/motherboards/RAMPAGE_FORMULA/HelpDesk_Download/
Warning of the BIOS:

Most recent game crashing almost immediately on the launch titles.
Just got a new system. The old songs that I installed (WoW and Crysis) work very well.
Three new titles that I bought (Dragon Age, Just Cause 2, BF:Bad Co. 2) crash almost immediately on launch. I'm afraid to buy new software that I'm afraid that they do not work on Windows 7! A title closes just without any error message. The other two titles give messages like this:

Additional information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789I can't tell you how much work I did try to correct these errors. Ive contacted the manufacturer of the computer, game developers, posted on the Nvidia forums, followed on 1 billion troubleshooting suggestions, but no one seems to be able to precisely identify WHERE exactly the problem is, so I'm just shooting missles magic into the darkness.
Currently the manufacturer of the computer (Digital Storm) is blaming Nvidia, Nvidia says it's the games themselves, the game developers are to blame the manufacturer of model and Microsoft, particularly of directx, but more important still, nobody works actively for a solution except me. I made the mistake of throwing a lot of money to play the latest titles and cannot. Any ideas or suggestions that are new, I'll try.
The system is:
Windows 7 64 bit
Directx11 (downloaded library runtime dx and redist as suggested by others
NVIDIA GTX 470. I have tried both drivers latest drivers 197,75 and 257.15 beta.
EVGA x 58 the with Intel i7 930
memory of triple-channel 6 gb 1600 mhz (tested)
Just Cause 2 has been downloaded from Steam, DA was downloaded from the EA store, BFBC2 is a dvd.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance
Fixed, he appears in addition to the question of Dx11 at the beginning that it was also a synchronization problem in the CMOS. A digital storm rep called and accompanied me through the evolution of the tensions, multipliers and speed clock and everything seems to work fine now.
Thanks for the help and concern all.

Hello
Be sure and check with the manufacturer of the game's support and their forums (if any).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BEX errors often are caused by toolbars such as Google, TrendMicro and others. Do you use
a 3rd party toolbars in IE? Cause and solution is the same for Vista and Windows 7.What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have
EVER had on this machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which)
There are problems).Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore advanced settings, and then click RESET - APPLY / OK
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on Reset all areas - APPLY / OK
Close and restart IE or IE with no addons
Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if she's here, it is no longer necessary but Java
installs and it causes more questions - have you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again.) Glance
for other possible problems.Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look
right. Allowed are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If doubt about a program
ask about it here.Could be that a BHO - SpyBHOremover - free - program of autonomous, needs no installation, download, unzip
and run. Also not all the BHO is bad, that some managed bars of tools and features that you added.

run as a scanner.
