  I have some screenshots of try autour in my application to try to catch the errors gracefully who sometimes throw themselves because of unknown bugs. I like beta-testing the application on my phone, I was wondering if there was a way to get the stack of calls to an exception that is created programmatically. That way maybe I can send myself, or... Put it on the phone log or something...

  Anyway, I tried the following... but only the print stack trace says no: "no trace of the stack.

• Removed Dylibs of Tcl/Tk in El Capitan update

  I upgraded a computer to El Capitan and discovered that a bunch of the dylibs used by Tcl/Tk have been removed from their repertoires by the update.  Img package, for example, consists of a bunch of libraries in System/Library/Tcl/8.5/Img1.4.  They have just removed by the update.

  Before the update (10.10.5), this directory contained 23 dylibs.  After the update (10.11.5), no dylibs.  You can verify this by checking the directory, or by typing tclsh from the Terminal prompt and try the command package requires Img.  Work before the update, found after the update package.

  I tried to chat with a technical support on this issue, but I think the tech support person thought I was talking some downloaded 3 application of part (Tcl/Tk is delivered with all the Mac Out of the box, just like Perl, Python, awk, grep, etc..)  They could only hazard a guess why some files may be missing, in general, a Mac to date.

  My question is twofold: first, can anyone confirm that it's not just my machine?  Secondly, how can I present this as a bug report?  I tried to find where to submit it, but I only find options as-live chat with a guy or talking to someone on the phone.  I don't want to chat about it, let me submit it as a bug.

  It is not only your machine. I don't know if there is never shared in this folder libraries, but there is none now. If they were part of a third-party facility, they would indeed have been removed, because third party software are not allowed in the file system (with a few exceptions.)

  I doubt that Apple would consider it as a bug. They say that if you need components that are not included in the operating system, you must install a distribution of Tcl/Tk to third party compatible with El Capitan. It installs in the folder root of the library.

  Once you have increased the oblique clock to the maximum value allowed you face problems of consistency. You can go ahead and play with consistency policies or with the TimeConcistencyPolicy class if you want to get rid of the error, as their definition at NoConsistencyRequiredPolicy or by setting up a high enough TimeUnit.   As P. Forstmann suggested, it would help if you can post queries and their results of EXPLAIN PLAN.
  Now, I know guess is bad, but I want to have a go on this one, so we'll see ;)
  My comments (in no particular order of relevance/importance)
  (1) you use a non patched (10.2.0.1) version which, I believe, is known to contain many bugs (and therefore can throw 'surprises')
  (2) the name of the index, it is clear that PK_DDOALT is a unique index (supporting the primary key constraint) table DDO_ALT so
  factor clustered index is (probably) not the issue.
  (3) the TkProf output tells 36496 lines are currently extracted from table DDO_ALT in the query that uses the index analysis while
  36679 lines are currently extracted a DDO_ALT table in the query that uses the full table scan.
  It seems that the DDO_ALT table has about 36679 lines. Now, it will be slower (such as oracle to access most of these lines using the index
  you will need to visit a (table) block at the same time (and will eventually visit same block several times) compared to the full table scan.
  who reads several blocks at a time (and eventually NOT have to visit same block several times). This can be confirmed
  by the numbers "cr" TkProf. 24247 consistent gets for the query using access indexed for 36496 lines (with the exception of consistent gets for the reading of the index)
  2018 coherent vs gets to access 36679 lines.
  (4) the operation "line Source" indicates that the query using an indexed access is written so that it forces the use of the index (most likely
  using an indicator of index). It's that reason optimizer uses "INDEX FULL SCAN" and not "INDEX RANGE SCAN". A FULL INDEX SCAN bed set
  structure of the index, a block at a time, which is not an efficient operation compared to the optimizer to choose naturally "INDEX RANGE SCAN", which
  that will show some of the index blocks.
  (5) Finally, it appears this query that uses access indexed, is written to 'say' oracle how to process the query. Maybe it's OK if you think that
  your knowledge of the data schemas is better than knowledge of the optimizer. But this certainly isn't the case here.
  Your queries are probably something like

• How to assign several groups of home page tabs?

  I was hoping to make use of the tab function, but when I restart FF my groups all disappear except my home page tabs. Is there maybe an add-on that can save and rebuild groups of tabs?

  And is it just me or should FF have warned me that the creation of a group of tabs set my home page and remove my links?

  Also, I wouldn't need to tab groups if the new tab screen can be configured to contain more links with small vignettes - perhaps also a possibility to Add on?

  Finally got a chance to try it - looks great so far. Configurable Super - lose the search bar, reduce the size of the tile while maximizing the police to name, create custom groups...

  There will be no problem to get everything I need on a single screen with scrolling - just wish I could reorganize and group in a single screen.

  I see no reason to set as my homepage though - there are several tabs, I always open so 'new tab' mode, that's exactly what I was looking for.

• Images not displayed (any browser)

  I use Ubuntu Trusty (latest version) all my browsers are updated, including firefox. Browsers display images of all the websites I visit, except for my personal server. I think maybe it's a problem with the mime type or a problem with the libraries installed on my computer. When I visit a JPG or PNG image it that "this image cannot be displayed because it contains errors". I don't know why.

  I conclude that this isn't a problem with firefox, ubuntu, etc. It's just a server problem. Sorry!

  There was a bug that really resemble this one on the Dell XPS 13. The bug was in the bios that was setting his alternative map that did not work. In my opinion, is the same thing here. I need to find a way to tell the bios to load everything as if it's windows 8.1 (Yes, I just don't ask for any special treatment.)

  It looks that we now are hable to use mode strives of the sound card. It is good, but not perfect. The fix for the i2c will come soon, last kernel code ask a file mysterious drivers that does not currently exist in the directories of the linux firmware. Therefore, this case is closed because the only such issue. Follow the improvement furter launchpad bug.

  I SOLVED IT!

  After hours of pain, I can now use the integrated sound card with headphones, as well as the internal speakers.

  How to:

  Change grub config by:

  'sudo vim/etc/default/grub.

  Change the line:

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash".

  TO:

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash acpi_backlight = vendor = acpi_osi'!" Windows 2013 'acpi_osi ='! Windows 2012' "

  Then run:

  'sudo update-grub ".

  Restart twice.

  BOOM! The sound works in the headphones. The sound card is now in mode HDA (not I2S).

• 10.0.9 won't let me share/film completed in the form of export file

  I'm new to iMovie, but after spending two days in researching this issue, I'm sure that I'm doing this simple task properly and need help, please.

  I have a movie filled with long about 8 minutes. I tried export/share on various files/locations including my Dropbox folder, desktop and movies folder. What happens is that the process seems to be successful but nothing shows ever in any of the places that it is sent. I tried from two file menu drop-down file > share > file and "share" icon at the top of iMovie. Looks very good. I select where to save to and it seems successful. Almost as soon as I hit the Save button I get a notice popup at the top right of my screen saying something like "hand succeeded" or words to that effect with the iMovie icon. Except nothing is nowhere. When I return to the project in iMovie he always says she's "not shared."  The only thing that seems to work is that if I check the box 'Save on theatre' it will add it here, but nowhere else.

  Please, can someone help me with this? This is a brand new macbook, and there literally anything else on here too much room or downloaded or saved except for a few other minutes of raw footage used to make the film. I need to get this project done in a few days time and am frustrated to say the least.

  I'll answer myself. I decided to update to iMovie (currently now at 10.1.1) and it works fine now, with regard to the transfer of files. I just assumed that the old version and straight out of the box of the computer would work fine. Maybe a bug or something. So if anyone has this problem, I'd give the update a try. He kept all of my movies and sequences as well, that I assumed it would be, but was still holding my breath.

  So, problem solved with the iMovie update version.

• T420 screen turns off and turn it back on when the AC adapter / CC is attached or removed

  You are working on your machine, staring at the screen and the power failure... Yes - something quite common in these parts of the world... but no worries, the screen darkens slightly according to the diet plan and you hardly notice. Then, when the backup generator kicks in and the power is activated again, the brightness of the screen is back to your usual setting. Meanwhile, it is not a gene. Right?

  Well, that's what should happen... except that most of the time it doesn't work! Most of the time, the screen turns off and then turns on remove the main power and reinstall it. Note that this never happened once with T61 or T41p.

  Initially, I assumed it was because I had an external monitor attached... maybe it was to reconfigure something there? But then, it happens even without the external monitor. Then, I tried looking for the video driver updates... maybe this bug had been fixed to the... no luck there.

  So, finally, after having known this more often now, I thought I would get feedback from you all. Any advice?

  Check the Intel Media profile with the power settings. If a battery is "Maximum economy" mode then it should be in Exchange for 50 Hz to 60 Hz... Change it to balance or maximum Performance and see if its ever-changing from 50 Hz to 60 Hz...

  If all else fails, try updating the video driver, it might be a bug in the previous version of the driver.

• PAP2 Tesco Internet Phone 0800 questions

  Hi all

  To set the scene, I'm new to VoIP, new to PAP2, if I don't have a lot of IT experience.

  I just purchased a PAP2 to ebay, unlocked (the two lines open) running the version of firmware 3.1.22 (LS).  Fantastic piece of kit!  Open firewall ports, I am successfully able to connect via sip.tescointernetphone.com and can make and receive calls ok on both lines.  So far so good.

  My current settings of the dial for both lines plan are the following:

  (* xxx |) [3469] 11. 0 | 00 | ([2-9] xxxxxx: 1xxx [2-9] xxxxxxS0: xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

  Now the question I have whenever I dial an 0800 number, the call or the other fell immediately, or have responded to the call but gets fell less than 1/2 second.  I have traweled dialplan different resources / tutorials in order to appreciate the context and consist of syntax of the numbering plan, but seem unable to come this simple question.

  For additional info, if I use my old adapter IAX connected in gateway.tescointernet.com, I have no problem accessing 0800, or any other number besides.

  If I dial in through the SIP gateway to my telephony client, which works very well.    My thoughts lead me to my problem either be me (because I'm missing something), or it is a problem with the PAP2... maybe a bug in the firmware?

  Thoughts, help or any help would be greatly appreciated.  Beer (or drinks) on me a solution!

  Are you sure it's only a matter of 0800? I had the same problem with all the calls until I changed the preferred under Audio setting to G729a Codec.

  I also UKised the Dial Plan to (0 [1235789] xxxxxxxxxS0 |) [2-8] xxxxxS0 | * x. | x [0123456789].)

  This allows a number 11-digit standard dial without delay, a standard 6 digit number to dial a number without delay, a number beginning with a star (p. ex. * 123 for voicemail Tesco) and allows any another number to call.

As a first step, I can click on the start menu, but if I open a window, it seems that whenever I go to click on the window it will click out of it so I can't select it. From there on, I can't click on anything, no icons or anything. I have to press ctrl alt del to be able to click on the window or another program. I also discovered while I was in Internet Explorer I would surf the web, and he would start pages like I'm pressing the back button to return.

  I already tried things:
  -Uninstall Intellitype, uninstalling the drivers.
  -Change the USB ports.
  -Elimination of some programs / firefox & internet explore [I thought that maybe a bug as possible.]
  -Completely nuking my computer and put a new new version of Windows XP.
  None of them worked.

  The only thing that worked was to move the mouse and the keyboard with my old mouse and keyboard that are not wireless. This is driving me crazy. I just received it and had no problems until recently perhaps an update of some sort, but now he does it on a fresh new copy of XP. What other options do I have?

  I had problems by two different laser mouse 6000 V2, on one, the right click does not work except sporatically, now my other mouse is having problems with the left click function.  I am about to replace the micro-switch SPST (I think that's true) to see if that fixes it.

  I contacted microsoft on this subject (on the defective mouse) about 1 year... less than 2 weeks I received a COMPLETELY NEW mouse AND keyboard NEW in box to NO FEES, no RMA, NO return and was NEVER billed for replacement.  I ended up giving the other combo to my brother and he still works fine (other than the hard drive to use right click on the service), the same thing is happening to this mouse, it is difficult to make a left click, sometimes it works, sometimes, it is not click at all, sometimes it double click on...

  Give it a try, send an email to microsoft.

  I think they have problems with their defined wireless desktop V2 and replace without charge, without admitting a problem.

  PSS, if you have NO function of the mouse AND keyboard, or just the mouse work not at all (NO movement etc.) I had a neighbor install a just CB radio next... frequency RF interfered with the signal RF mouse and the mouse (and sometimes the keyboard) refused to work as long as he handed (IE holding the key to the transmission on the CB).  Sorry if this seems rudimentary, but some people have trouble understanding certain issues so I try to make them as simple as possible.

  The rule that follows:

  Interference RF (CB, other wireless devices on the same frequency (of HAM Radio etc.),

  Exclude the above listed issues.

  Otherwise, it would appear that you have either A: a bad receiver (The Oval device plugged into the PC), or B: a bad mouse RF transmit/receiver.  Anyway that I will try to return the product I used the Wireless Desktop 6000 V2 over 3 years with NO problems other than to wear down me the switches in mice.  (I use my PC very strongly).  Try emailing Microsoft for a replacement, it can't hurt and maybe you'll get a new like I did!

• Vista 'Open file location' has stop working after installing IE9 Beta

  My context option 'Open file location' has quit working on all the shortcut files (.lnk).  Choosing 'open file location' triggers WITHOUT ERRORS and seems to not trigger any increase in CPU activity, or I can't detect any change in process explorer, it's just nothing at all.  BUT it doesn't seem to work because he used for the FIRST time (and only the first time) I have choose it from a shortcut on the desktop after a reboot... as long as I do not first open all records.  PLEASE NOTE that this behavior only started in the morning, after I installed IE9 Beta on my computer.

  I use Vista Ultimate SP2 on a box of Dell, Intel Pentium D 3.00 Ghz with 3.5 GB of Ram.

  I rely heavily on "Open file location" to navigate through my system so that your help will be greatly appreciated.

  1. sometimes for all the shortcuts in all folders, including the office.

  2. sometimes for shortcuts related to music files, JPGs, microsoft word files, exe files, and others.  The shortcuts are in several different directories.  It is worth noting that the target location listed in the properties files is correct exe programs will be running, and music or photo files will play/display double clicked.  Only problem is NO way to open the folder of file location of the shortcut target.

  Step 1: Permissions for all folders that I normally use are the same they have been for years, which includes the folders that contain the shortcuts and those containing targets.  They are: 1) the permissions of system-all verified.  (2) MyName (HOMEPC\MyName) - all verified permissions. (3) Directors (HOMEPC\Administrator) - checked everything except special permissions.  The exception being the 'Programmes' to root folder that has no permissions other than read, execute, and list.  Subfolders for individual programs have the same permissions as mentioned above for my usual records.

  Step 2: I uninstalled IE9 Beta and the location of the file open function has been restored as if by magic!  .Lnk file associations appear to be identical to what they were when that was the problem.  IE9 has maybe a bug or an incompatibility in this somewhere1?
