  There are a lot of forums and chats on 10 ColdFusion connection to Exchange Server 2010. Anyone know if 10 ColdFusion can connect to Exchange Server 2013. If you don't know, what are the steps? I tried all the stuff used in ColdFusion 10 connection to Exchange Server 2010 and still not connect to Exchange Server 2013.

  Found a solution. Yes, you can connect 10 ColdFusion to Exchange Server 2013 but there is a slight twist to the solution if you want to use the features of cfexchangeXXXXX.

  1. ensure to that you have imported the certificate Exchange Server 2013 into 10 ColdFusion server.

  2. in the cfexchangeconnection call, add:

  ServerVersion = "2010".

  Protocol = 'https'

  formbasedauthentication = 'TRUE '.

  formbasedauthenticationURL = "XXXXXX".

  If serverversion is missing, it will default to Server 2007.

• Unable to connect to EMS on Exchange Server 2012 2013

  Hello

  As soon as I try to open the EMS on my server it tries to connect, but fails eventually. Below is the error indicating a PSSessionOpenFailed. He made several attempts until he says... "Unable to connect to an Exchange Server in the current site. Enter the FULL domain name server where you want to connect. : __ »

  It tries to connect to the server is the local server running the EMS on. Not sure why it cannot connect because it is on this server.

• Windows Server 2008 standard R2 with Exchange server 2010

  Hello

  I have an old server that has been removed from the network that it was used for active domains (domain controller) and emails,

  A new server (Windows Server 2012) took his place with a new address ip and domain name for every pc.

  I would like to return the 2008 server in the network so I can continue to use exchange as your e-mail server server.

  How to 'reset' the server so I can put in the new network, using the new domain controller and damain network and have the old server as the e-mail server.

  Does anyone have instructions step by step on how to do it, or can give me a link on how to do it.

  Hey, just something to try, I have no idea if it is still active, or if you need a solution yet, but I ran into a problem with the connection to our server to work with almost every Machine of Windows 7... I found a solution on a website some time ago, but the solution that I use every week is:

  Go to Regedit, select HKey_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > control > Lsa inside the LSA key, right click on the right window, click New > DWORD (32-bit) value, type the name EXACTLY LmCompatibilityLevel press ENTER, then change this key and set the value to 1.

  You may need to restart the computer for it to take effect, but there the problem of authentication with many Windows 7 Machines (computers laptops, towers) that I worked here. Hope that helped.

• Mac with Outlook 2016 users do not get coonected to exchange server

  I am new to the community. Current configuration is Exchange 2010, AD 2008.

  1 hubcas and Server 2 mailbox store Dag servers.

  One of my MAC users has a problem in the configuration of Outlook 2016 on his Mac. Below is the error I get in Exchange server:

  Inbound authentication failed with error logon denied for the client to receive connector (Ex hubcas server Name). The authentication method is NTLM.

  As I try to find the solution I discovered that the receive connectors are 2 in my hub/case of exchange server. A default value and another name is customer and both are enabled with different setting. Please check the reference Images.

  My question is that:

  1. is it ok to have two reception enabled connectors.

  2 connection refused messages comes from what connector and which connector is used by my clients.

  3. How can I solve the problem of the Mac user.

• Account Exchange does not authenticate to exchange server with a domain under Windows Surface 3 pro 8.1 user

  We recently bought a Surface 3 pro from our supplier that has windows 8.1 pre installed (OEM) and I have set up a local user with local administrator rights account, I did windows updates, also activated the account administrator local and then added the device to our area, but I can not set up exchange on the domain user account. I also gave this area local administrator user rights, but it does not check the name on the Exchange Server. It makes the connection to the network, on behalf of the research, but it will not connect to the server. I tried to manually configure upwards, but not luck. When I created this same domain account on a local user with administrator rights, I works very well. I did several times on Windows 7 and never had any problems. Has anyone encountered this problem? Help please.

  I Torch 9800 and no problems with syncing it with my calendar, address book and notes. Then I updated the Desktop Manager to the more recent and after that I m this message:

  "Cannot connect to Exchange Server. Please check the server access or provide a password is valid"

  I m not not using an Exchange Server and as I said before, it occurred after the upgrade of the Desktop Manager.

  I would be grateful if someone could help me and provide me with an instruction step by step as I m not one that fits into computers :-)

  I found this on another site and it did the magic :-)

  SOLUTION: Assuming that you have the latest Desktop Manager installed from BB, with the two BB & OL 2010 closed
  1. open the Control Panel, and then click Mail
  2. when the window opens, click Show Profiles
  3. Select your profile and click on the copy button. Name all you want - copy us it won't keep long.
  4. Run Desktop Manager and connect your BB.
  5. start configure your organizer, but choose profile copy for any element. When DS questions about remapping of the files, click OK.
  6. After you have configured a component of Outlook, click OK until you return to the main window of your DS. At this point, you should not get the previous error message.
  7. return in the DS and set up all of your Outlook components with your original profile. You will get the remapping of new message folder - just click OK.
  8. When you are finished, click OK until you return to the main window of the DS. You shouldn't get the error at this stage.
  9. in the Panel, go back to the mail and delete the duplicate profile, that you created previously.

• Running Exchange Server application of hotfixes and service pack to the server mailbox without loss of data during the restore?

  People,

  I would like to know how can I safely ask the Exchange Server service pack or cumulative update for the server role mailbox (no DAG) without loss of e-mail during the downtime and roll back the snapshot?

  If I can do the following:

  1. stop all Exchange Server services.

  2. unplug the vNIC on the mailbox server

  3 take a snapshot of the virtual machine

  4. apply the service Pack of Exchange Server / Cumulative Update or Windows Update

  5 reset

  6 reconnect the vNIC, if the server online with no problem, commit / remove the snapshot, if not, then disconnect the vNIC followed to restore.

  would be - this sense being or support for Vmware and Microsoft http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/exchange-2010-on-vmware-support-and-licensing-guide.pdf ?

  I'll start by saying that I would not do.  Microsoft is explicit that snapshots are not supported with Exchange when virtualized.  See below (from Exchange 2013 Virtualization: help Exchange 2013):

  Some hypervisors include features to take snapshots of virtual machines. Virtual machine snapshots capture the State of a virtual machine while it is running. This feature allows you to take several snapshots of a virtual machine and then return the virtual machine to a previous state by applying a snapshot to the virtual machine. However, virtual machine snapshots aren't application aware, and using them can have unintended and unexpected consequences for a server application that manages the data of the State, such as Exchange. Accordingly, making snapshots of the virtual machine to a virtual guest computer Exchange only is not supported.

  Even if we ignore the statement of support from shadow copies that isn't always a good idea.  Here are some things to consider.

  (1) cumulative updates for the Exchange to modify the Active Directory schema.  Roll back the snapshot on the mailbox server is not undo changes made to RFA, which could cause functional supported questions.  See this link to give you an idea of how there is pattern AD updates in each CU Exchange and service pack: the Active Directory in Exchange 2013 schema changes: Exchange 2013 help

  (2) it is possible to send to come during the time you test the update, and if you need to restore you would need a plan to retrieve this e-mail.  Third party services may work, or you can prevent the email to come in your environment completely during this period, but these aren't the ideal solutions.

  A much better solution would be to create a lab environment that is isolated from the production.  You can either take clones of your Exchange and AD VMs and put them in a closed network environment, or create a laboratory and import the structure of your ad if it matches the production.  I think it is a much better way to test than to try to rely on stereotypes in production.

  I saw an article in tech on a similar issue with Exchange 2013 that had me change the registry (support.software.dell.com/.../127986), but that doesn't seem to help.

  Any ideas what I can check why the checksum fails? I also disabled the mountability control because it took MUCH too long and interfere with other work. Not sure if this is related or not.

  Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but I am writing on behalf of my school ICT. I found a lot of documentation on how to enable/disable the update dialog box, but what I really need to know if it is possible for an AutoUpdate to deploy, or a script that can be implemented on an Exchange Server for Flash Player can be updated automatically. For now, ICT guys go around each computer, sign in as an administrator and update manually. with hundreds of computers at school and the speed in which Flash Player is up-to-date, is to take a lot of time and resources, but really a better solution.
