Exe file missing
I don't know how to respond to the message sent from Millennium, but it was discovered, I was conquered by Adobe Photo shop for Mac OS and not for Windows, that's why my exe file was missing.
An easy way to reply to the message is to visit the forum and find/access your assignment and post a reply to any message you want.

Qosmio F20-153 - ntoskrnl.exe file missing
Hello
I have an almost 5 year old toshiba Qosmio F20-153, which has developed an error with the Windows message root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe file is missing.
I wonder if it's fixable without completely re - install the complete operating system that I still have the Toshiba restore disk.Any help much appreciated.
Hey Buddy,
In my view, your only option is recovering the entire notebook. The Toshiba Recovery disk only contains an image of factory settings, which means that you can t install this single file of this disc.
In addition it s a good idea to reinstall Windows from time to time. If your installation is already 5 years old, you should do this. You will be surprised with the speed of your laptop is after that. :)Use the recovery disk is quite simple: you must boot from that disk and follow the instructions on the screen. You do a few clicks only and that s it!

failure to launch the .exe file missing from Lightoom 6
I downloaded Lightroom 6 twice now, because it does not start from the shortcut. I can't find an exe file in the Program Files to launch directly. Otherwise, anyone having this problem or have a solution?
I am answering my own question... you must first log out of creative cloud and then reconnect. Don't know why, but it works.

the csrss.exe file is missing
I was downloading addons for a game on the internet and then later the next time I turned on my computer, it said I was missing the csrss.exe file and so I searched for it looking to see if I somehow accidentally moved and he didn't so I was wondering if there is anyway I might get this file without reformat my computer and reinstall windows xp
How can I get a new file csrss.exe
MD5: f12b178b1678d778cfd3ff1fc38c71fb SHA1: d9aa29288951e94773caa1054237d29734e79f34 SHA256: 42a7aeb7d7056d583b620993f733d259b78600aab2c9b95e58d437a6401c79b1 ssdeep: 96:1NlAN1CnotgbZm4vU / 93SqYs5FEW5B8enWwG:1NlANooygp/ZSq/5eW5B8enW File size: 6144 bytes This confirms my suspicions you have (or had) malware. This version of csrss.exe is for service Pack 2 of Windows XP.You really need to run MBAM.But despite this, if you run at the SP2 level, it is unclear what might make its way onto your PC. There are some out there extremely difficult to detect rootkits. You find you might need to perform a clean installation. If you would rather fight infection, you can always look for guided help: -

Absent SndVol32.exe

I have problems with the sound on my PC (i.e., no noise at all). He told me that the Sndvol32.exe file is missing. I went through the 'fix - it' and the solution is to extract the file from the Windows XP CD. My PC did not come with it - otherwise, how can I get this file? Thanks in advance!
Most of the people do not have a genuine XP bootable CD. This is good advice if you have a true bootbale CD, but given that the majority of people have never seen one in their life, why start there? That's why this kind of troubleshooting tips kill me...
The fix it will not help you.
This will help you:
I downloaded a copy of the file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).
You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files). Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311
When you see the files available for download, you will not see the extension of file (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension.
You have to put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.
That may not solve all your problems, but at least you will be spending this part and we can then fix the rest.
Of course the file must never be missing, so something has badly haywire.
If the system is working properly, what do you think has happened since the last time, that he did not work properly?

MS Office 2013 missing EXE files
I just installed a Seagate Backup (purchased from Dell) Plus drive on my XPS 8.1 Win system. Installed SW of backup supplied with the player.
Now I can't open MS Office 2013 applications (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), but no problem with any other application installed on the PC.
Location of the file checked programs icons to point to and .exe files are missing! (FYI, this is c: Program Files > Microsoft Office 15 > root > office 15 > OUTLOOK.) EXE, etc.)
Now that I think of it, I had a Windows Installer update automatically yesterday, which may have caused the problem.
Someone at - he saw this problem, and is my only solution to reinstall the applications? I don't like this major corruption occur for unknown reasons. Who knows what else is hidden here?
Thanks, Nadine,.
I just went ahead and reinstalled Office, which worked well. Not know what caused the problem; the mod only SW was the update of windows. Solving the problems of Update site corrected MS 2 'mistakes' in the previous version. No idea why, but everything clear now.

ePub creation - TOC FILE MISSING - questions with 7zip VS zip.exe
Since this question is not really answered - that is to say, the same problems are produce I found elsewhere the ePub Script, I need to reup the question.
Here's my biggest problem - when 7zip is selected BY RoboHelp to generate an ePub, it does not work.
However, when RoboHelp tells me to select zip.exe in stahlforce.com/dev/zip.exe, it works fine.
But there is no way for me to put the ZIP. EXE as the standard when I create an ePub and run the script - he immediately says TOC FILE MISSING as it does the file NCX (TOC) creation.
Warnings:
- Yes, I am aware of the other discussions to other locations of and . They are not very clear or useful, what it really takes to cross and resolve what is happening.
- Praful already showed me the link at http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000549.htm that talks about how to add C:\Windows\System32 in the path variable. Did not work - mainly because it was already there.
- Whenever RoboHelp generates the script of ePub in the following window:
I always get an error.
This occurs if the XML file generate is in the folder SSL project or not, no matter whether on a C drive or a drive E (or a network drive, USB stick, etc etc etc)
If I manage to, by some MIRACLE, he can use zip.exe instead, it will compile happily with a table of contents.
My system path already has System32 inside. No need to change it.
System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
7zip: latest version
RoboHelp: 9.0.2 in ATCS3
So far, I have:
1 removed all spaces in my project name and outputs ePub by this post:
2. followed the instructions of Praful letter after having contacted him to find out exactly how we're going about adding the system32 in path variables.
3. run the generator fifty - nine times.
Out of those fifty - nine times, I also have:
A. downloaded 32 bit 7zip used as the source Zip and it craps the bed with a missing TOC error message. No go.
B. downloaded 64-bit 7zip used as the source Zip and it craps the bed with a missing TOC error message. No go.
Zip.exe c. downloaded as requested, used as the source Zip, HOORAY! It works!
D. try to replicate, it goes back to 7zip and craps the bed. KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!
Now I did this on my C (SSD) drive and my drive E (a regular storage drive) and used RoboHelp in two places, that on both the C and the E drive all is content (project, file, exit) at the same place. I did it on systems clean and 'dirty' and all. UNIQUE. TIME. RoboHelp blithely informs me that there is no TOC file.
When this happens, it's ALWAYS when it tells me to use 7zip instead of, let's say "zip.exe.
Like this.
My default ePub reader has been Adobe Digital Editions. She always does.
I changed the default ePub for Sony Reader Library drive. She always does.
I changed the default ePub to gauge reader. SHE IS ALWAYS.
I did it with drive C as the unique environment system.
I did it with the drive E as the unique environment system.
I even installed RoboHelp on a computer with a single hard drive and did nothing, but generate this file.
When RoboHelp wonder for zip.exe location, it compiles BEAUTIFULLY.
But then he goes immediately to 7zip and craps the bed.
Now, when I say "There is always this", I mean that I returned to all the variables from that moment. So, when you get to 'Drive C as the system of unique environment' which means all that above, I did with this condition.
So to answer the question in abeyance, "What is your system?" it's in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit running.
Yes, I tried the path of Praful system variable.
Yes, I tried clean installs.
Yes, I tried it on a solo record.
Yes, I've tried it on a clean build of Win7.
Yes, I tried all of this.
He's still crapping the bed when it comes to the path of TOC disappeared.
As some authors have said, there no errors in the log. There are no files not referenced, no oddity in the project naming conventions, nothing.
But if she goes to 7zip, it craps the bed.
If she stays with zip.exe, that's fine.
So, what else can you guys help out here with? This isn't a terribly difficult thing - to compile an ePub is really not that difficult. But what I need to know is that could possibly do to solve this problem?
Is there a setting to make the zip extension zip.exe in ONLY in the script? Which seems to work, but RoboHelp like return to 7zip.
Like others, I have followed these instructions very closely, but it seems to always be a "oh yes, make sure that..." "that comes with RoboHelp who never gets bound upward in the manuals.
So, what's the next "Oh yes, make sure that '? I would like to know because frankly, at this point RoboHelp made less useful work the creator of ePub $40 program I bought of frustration with the process of generation of ePub.
Hi, 7zip is the old method of zipping toward the top of the epub. When you install 902, a new script is provided, but you need to make it accessible by hand. Maybe this new version allows to your problems.
See the 9.0.2. README:
output ePub
After you install the hotfix, copy the script to update ePub Generator.jsx of [InstallDir] / RoboHTML/settings presets/scripts/in the following location:
- Windows XP: [USER] / Application Data/Adobe/RoboHTML/9.00/Scripts/Sample Scripts.
- Windows 7: [USER]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/RoboHTML/9.00/Scripts/Sample Scripts /]
A little bit of guessing here: are there special characters (e, to, etc.) in the name of your project? The output XML really should OCD assigned for output?
Would it not possible to share the project so that we can take a look?
Take a bow

I don't have a winnt32.exe in the i386 folder. My computer behaves very strange sometimes. It drags, freezes and load things on that I do not click.
You can download SP3 from HERECOMPUTER. Save it to your desktop. Use an extraction of files such as WnRar software to extract the service pack 3 you downloaded to extract the files in the C drive. Once the files have been extracted, click Start > run and paste the command below > click Ok. This should install the recovery console.
C:\\i386\winnt32.exe cmdcons
In addition, the i386 folder will contain the winnt32.exe file you requested.

Rundll32.exe missing, unable to reinstall open rundll32.exe or .exe files
Then I looked around and discovered I had a virus, XP Security, erased rundll32.exe when it was faded. Now, I found another copy on my computer to ISO recovery that accompanies it (thank you, MSI), but it is useless, because I can't OPEN. EXE FILES. I had internet explore to open internet Explorer by selecting in the menu open with that appears whenever I open a .exe file, and that worked for a few other programs (World of Warcraft, as well, mainly to test).
So, what should I do to open Rundll32.exe when my computer won't let me choose Rundll32.exe as a program to open Rundll32.exe with. I select it in the open with menu by means of travel, and it does not appear in the list of programs that I can use, such as Internet Explorer and wow.
I wanted to talk to someone on the phone for 5 minutes to understand this point, but that costs 20% of this cost my computer ($50, im on a netbook). Come on, $ 50? really, microsoft?
Thank you for your response. Here's my problem. I'm on a laptop at the moment. My problem is with my desktop windows xp home edition. I can't access a Web site or make it appear an address bar imput your link. Whenever I click on internet explore or itunes or whatever it is that must be open to the top, I get the 'open with' box and it says: "choose the program you want to use to open this file. I tried to remove the rundll32.exe and go back in the folder.
When I go to the c\windows\system32\rundll32.exe folder and remove the file, I go back to the results of the research, and he returned in the results of research after a few seconds.
Thanks again.
The goal is to not do not delete the rundll32 permanently, but replace it with a replacement valid. If your MAP replaces the file then it is useless to continue to delete.
That said, the best way to solve this problem is to use a flash (USB drive) drive or other removable media to download and run the file on the link I gave you. However, if you do not have access to removable media, you can try to manually reassociate the executables.
CTRL-ALT-DEL and open Task Manager. Once there, click file, and then hold down the CTRL key and click New task (run). This will open a command prompt window. On the command line type assoc.exe = exefile > press ENTER. You should receive a prompt action succeeded.
Looks like your shortcuts can have been so separated. On the command line type assoc.lnk = lnkfile > press ENTER.
Click on the link below, download, update and perform a full scan with Malwarebytes.
