  I created a simple vi with Labview 2009 for resetting a counter in the registry key. I changed it to an exe. The program works well on any machine with XP, but it does not work on the machine, that I need on which is running Windows 2000 SP4.   I am trying to disable HP Smart Install for all our Corp until they connect their USB printers, because they are not local administrators. Running of the SIUtility.exe in Windows 7 (32 bit) as Administrator allows me to disable HP Smart Install (or at least that's the idea), when I click on the 'PC' button and then the button "Disable HP Smart install on this PC" it do anything and the HP Smart Install is not disabled!

  I uninstalled Antivirus and local firewall disabled, but that did not help either.

  I'm under the last SIUtility.exe (version 2012.0926.1.58500).

  Anyone know how to get the utility to work?

  Yes, I use the latest driver package. Did some more tests and I deploy a script running the /disable "SIUtility.exe".

  The script is run in the context of the SYSTEM through our SCCM Server (because the users are not administrators).

  After you run the script, the HP Smart install IS disabled and the printer acts as a printer (and not as Smart Install "CD Fake")

  However if subsequently, I start the SIUtility.exe in graphical mode and press the button 'PC', it claims the HP Smart install IS enabled (even if it isn't).

  Lets close this topic, saying: the SIUtility.exe is a bit wobbly, when being run in an environment Corp. (in contexts different user/administrator).

  A Windows 8 driver must be installed to use the printer on the new PC.

  At the moment I can just recommend you to reinstall the unit with recovery media. If the problem persists, try to install the card separately with the right driver. Otherwise, you must change the WiFi card or test it with the other.

  Try these steps and check the result.
  Step 1: Delete the invalid registry keys

  Your virtual machine is running. It is in the unit - which each windows gets its own window of Mac - and you have no application Windows running, there is no visible windows. You can start a Windows application in the start of Fusion menu in the menu bar at the top right, or turn on the Windows task bar on the view menu and start applications from there. Or use the view menu to switch to the Single mode or full-screen, which puts all of your Windows desktop in a window separate from Mac.

  You do not have two partitions to Boot Camp on your Mac, you have two virtual machines named "Boot Camp partition".

  The message about it being unable to enter the unit arrives while the merger is pending for the tools begin to run, because the tool is necessary for the unit.

  I have been in photography for years, but never got myself sorted to manage all the pictures I managed to take. So from Lightroom.

  I am a new machine with a fast 256 GB SSD, a 2 TB HARD drive, and a clean installation of LR. I also have a NAS I use for backups, but I won't probably LR actively talk to him because it is only accessible via the wireless network. My collection of photos is already in the order of 500 GB, in order to put all my photos on the SSD won't work.
