  • Info of blackBerry Smartphones wiping out questions of curve

Hello.  I upgraded from a curve to a "BOLD" and I will move the curve to someone.  I read the instructions on the safeguarding of the Picts., etc. and on the conduct of a wipe.  My question is, certainly the wipe erase all info & Picts that lie on the curve, right?  I know this question sounds stupid, but I read somewhere that some items after a wipe and I have to call my service provider.  What I have to call AT & T after having wiped the phone or is the wipe all I have to do before I will pass it on?  The other question is, I have to install/reinstall or upgrade the operating system, right?  The latest version of the OS is v4.2.2.170.

I thank very you much in advance!

Rosa, the browser may have disappeared if the phone is no longer on a data plan. It should reappear once it is activated on a plan. I don't know what your talking about when you say "media net".

  • Outlook calendar info old blackBerry Smartphones when keeping synch w/9700 "BOLD"

    Hi RIM Forum!

I recently upgraded to OS6, have the latest Desktop Manager and under Microsoft Outlook 2007 on Windows XP.  Each tme I synch, over calendar information 3 weeks which are NOT anticipated is wiped out.  This is not acceptable because I need to access my calendar to revisit occurrences as far, far back as possible, i.e. Since the beginning of the 2000s.

I have enough storage on hard drive of my PC, so how can I make sure that my Outlook never deletes calendar events that do not specify want to restore deleted and the second, as far as possible to all my old calendar events?

Finally, the limitations of memory my 9700 so I know how to get back I should keep my calendar on the RIM device and information?

    Thank you!

    Ben

    Hello

I don't take as my fault or does issue so no worries there.

I'm not an employee of the RIM, I am a user like you.

The deletion is not fair on Outlook, which two days to feature too. The design intent (I think) is there isn't that one calendar and the PC and the Blackberry have each an exact copy.  Make sense?

You can restore your archived Outlook calendar items to find appointments lost, or at least most?

In order to develop for 4.3, you will need to use the legacy JDE, which you can find here:

  • Air - PlayBook SDK version

What is the latest version of the Air SDK that the functioning of the PlayBook?

    See you soon!

Do you mean the "Tablet OS AIR SDK" of BlackBerry with BB UI, APIs and tools? It is https://developer.blackberry.com/air/download/#playbook 2.1

The runtime on 10.0/10.1 PlayBook and BB10 AIR is 3.1. To compile for this run time, you can use:

You can usually use a new version of SDK software (e.g., Flash Builder 4.7) as long as you:

    • Add - swf-version 14 to the compiler command line
    • and set the version of the AIR in your manifest XML file 3.1
    • and do not use any AIR 3.2 + API.

BB10 10.2 AIR runtime has been upgraded to 3.5. The corresponding SDK BlackBerry is 3.2.0.

  • SDK installation

Hi, I'm revisiting development of BB and try to install the SDK.

I installed Momentics from here: https://developer.blackberry.com/native/download/

I get this error during initialization:

Changes in the installed SDK require workspace and/or project configuration changes.

Reason: The global default value SDK "Blackberry 10 SDK native 10.3.1 is not found.

So, I'm trying to add to the following Environment Variables:

    ;C:\bbndk\host_10_1_0_132\win32\x86\usr\bin\

But, when I look in the folder newly created bbndk - there is no host_10_1_0_132 or something similar to that.

Instructions for those who were here:

    https://Cordova.Apache.org/docs/en/latest/Guide/platforms/blackberry10/index.html

I was hoping that things worked at BB. Not off to a good start here.

    Any help?

Installing BlackBerry Momentics is the first step.  Once installed, within Momentics you will need to install a native SDK for BlackBerry.  To do that click on the menu helps Momentics and choose "Update API levels..." ».  You will be presented with the available SDK, you can install.  I recommend that you install the SDK 10.3.1 except if you need to support versions of BlackBerry 10 before 10.3.1.

Once installed Momentics will restart and what error you reported on a missing SDK should disappear.

I have a recent Momentics and when I go to "Install New Software" "All available Sites" and "Index of native SDK for BlackBerry 10" it says there's an update for the BlackBerry SDK native 10.2 132.0.0 but when I try to update I get an error: "cannot complete the installation because one or more required items be found.» Software being installed: BlackBerry SDK native 10.2 132.0.0 (blackberry_native_sdk_index.10.2.0.1155.group 132.0.0) missing requirement: BlackBerry SDK native 10.2 requires 132.0.0 (blackberry_native_sdk_index.10.2.0.1155.group 132.0.0) ' com.qnx.tools.ide.sdk.indexer [132.0.0,133.0.0) "' but it is not found" I search my computer and it look as if there is a newer version of this index of the file it mentions.] Is there something I can do? Also another problem: when I go to 'Help' "Check for Updates" it says there are all sorts of resources available. I'm trying to update and it seems to do and then it asks to restart, but they are always there to be updated? What is going on?

Can you try to install the last 10.3.1 beta SDK BlackBerry?  It can include the missing element.  I don't know what is missing from this error.  The steps to upgrade to 10.3.1 beta can be found here: https://developer.blackberry.com/native/downloads/releasenotes/

  • FDT 5 with BB10 SDK Beta 3 Installation work?

Could someone set on FBT 5 (free version) with BB Tablet OS SKD 3.0.0?

    • I was able to install FDT 5 OK
    • It is set to Flex 4.6 with AIR 3.1 without problem.
    • I added some SDKs 'BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 2.0.0 for Adobe AIR' and "BlackBerry Tablet OS 3.0.0 for Adobe AIR" in the IDE preferences / FDT / SDK installed.
    • When I select a new project of FDT and select 'AIR' and 'Blackberry', I get an error at the top of the dialog box 'BlackBerry SDK is not installed.  Visit http://fdt.powerflasher.com/blackberry-for-fdt/ to get it. »
    • When I go on this site, it references the BlackBerry for AIR Beta homepage (which is the 3.0.0 SDK I have already installed) and something on a plugin 'FDT' that I couldn't find anywhere.

Any help is appreciated.  Finally, I try to work around some BB10 AIR development, but it seems you need to keep that separate from Flash Buillder for applications current PlayBook given that you can't do both at the same time.

To install the BlackBerry of FDT plugin, you must restart the BB10 SDK to install AIR and select integrate with FDT (you have the choice between FlashBuilder and FDT).

Pointing to the BB10 SDK to FDT preferences (as you did for the sdk of Flex and AIR), it is enough if you plan to build using ant scripts, but is not installed the plugin of FDt.
