• Vision Development Module run-time license?

  Hello everyone, I want to install an application to the University, I built on a laptop computer for use at another University. The application uses the driver NOR-IMAQdx for acquiring 2 USB, as well as various screw cameras since the vision development module. I know that there is no legal issue with Labview Run Time of distribution engine, but I would like to know where I stand with the side of the vision of the things. To install this application on the laptop I need to purchase the Vision Development Module Run Time License and software Acquisition of Vision for this laptop, if yes, how could I inculde it in installation? I noticed that the GUI installation gives me the possibility to include engines of execution and drivers, but I don't know how it works without the permit? Also, any idea on the cost?   First the license covers the Module's development of Vision so should cover all the required drivers.

  You will need the license to activate it on the installation.

  Whether if it is a better idea completely, it depends on how you want to distribute your application.

  Develop an exe on the 1. PC which uses the VI server to call a (secondary) VI at points of Vision (IE - Image display and etc...) and this VI placed on the 2nd PC (where the Vision Runtime installed) via LAN.

  Or the execution of the Vision engine should be placed on both sides?

  I'm new to the forum, please pardon any typos correct procedure and/or label. I am using 2012 LabView full development system w/Database connectivity Toolkit, running on a window XP SP3 box. I have to make changes to two applications that have been developed with LabView 2010 from other firms for development and that are running on two different production test systems... The source code for any of the applications is changing on the machine, but I. My question is how to level of each machine (I think with the execution of LabView 2012 engine) so that I can compile each application and run it on the test target systems. Any help would be appreciated.

  The complete development system does not include the application builder that is necessary to create a new executable file.

  The runtime must be installed on the system target in order to run the executable built with the manufacturer of the application.

  There is a change DA on the text field to set the 2 selection lists to the value set in the text field. For example, if I set the text field to the 1.2 version, I want X 1 to 1.2 to 1 and X 2. There are therefore 2 actions to set the value; first of all to define X 1 and secondly to set X 2.

  The problem is that when X 1 is set, the change event on X 1 fires and refreshes the LOV for X 2 and the 2nd real action should fire after the LOV refresh but (probably), it fires too early and not ends not change the value of X 2, so it remains empty. I tried assigning no on the first real action to remove a change event, but that will not work because I need the modification to the fire action when X 1 changes to the LOV to X 2 can be updated.

  The annoying thing about this is that it works sometimes (X 2 is set correctly) and sometimes does not (X 2 remains empty). I guess it depends on timing of millisecond level between when X 2 refresh is complete and the 2nd shot of real action.

  What this kind of thing done? Almost need a sleep/delay after the first action to set the value so that the change/refresh LOV event to take place and then run the action to set the value to 2. But the presentation with the help of setTimeout and similar delays can ruin the execution has / synchronous Javascript engine and crash the browser so I am reluctant to go this route...

  To do this in your DA, you bind the time Manager to the second list before leaving the event which it will update.   I just installed HCM 9.1 PT8.52, demo DB, Oracle Database 11 g and Windows server 2008.
  I have installed and configured the Scheduler process (following the steps) and created a windows service, which is automatically 'start '.
  When you try to run a process scheduler, I'm getting a 'Success' execution status but 'Distribution status' is 'not detached.
  I guess that's not find the place or something?

  You need to:
  Add ProcessSchedulerAdmin and ReportDistAdmin role to the user that started the process scheduler
  Default Local node is configured to be reliable
  Default Local node must be authenticated password
  Create the reports node and add this to your process scheduler.
