  C & C Generals shows compatible with Windows 7.  Make sure that all your drivers are up to date and try again.  If you have a problem after updating all the drivers, then you must contact EA support to see if there is a patch\update for the game.

  Problem: I'm trying to reset the timer OEM. But when I run the following command I get an error:

  Error: Cannot run /opt/oracle/middleware/oms/bin/emctl.pl because his username does not match yours.

• LoadRunner: LoadRunner fails to start with the message "there are no valid license.

  Since last night, I have a problem with running HP LoadRunner version 12.50 product controller.

  During loading, LoadRunner opens a dialog box where the following message appears: "there is no valid license. Renewal of license, contact HP Software customer service".

  I tried to fix LoadRunner installation by running the option fix in the installer and also execution of command below (I) has not helped found on another thread:

  regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\LoadRunner\bin\LRWrapper.dll.

  It's very strange that the community license of 50vusers is active and we have also allowed VUD Global which expires on 19 Nov 2016th (see image). Starting today, this global license VUD is shown as being invalid (!) (attached image).

  Could you please tell me why the license now displays as invalid and how to restart the controller?

  * After the execution of commands, try to perform a Windows Update, if you are still having the same problem, then:

  First, please check that there is no any third-party firewall preventing Windows Update to communicate with "update.microsoft.com.

• How can I turn it back on XP after the physical conversion to hyper-v

  I've used disk2vhd utility to convert an XP machine a .vhd.  I rode to a new virtual machine.  It starts fine, but when I did, he invites me to activate the copy of Windows.

  Two problems.  First, the device drivers have apparently not been installed, as well as the network does not work yet.  Activation over the internet is not possible.

It came with a CD of Windows XP for PC reconditioned.  My plan was to replace the old disk system (XP) with the reader in the renovated system.  I started the system with its original drive because I wanted to know just what device driver updated, I would need.  I finished installing XP but has not activated the operating system.

  After stopping and switching of the readers, when I tried to start with my old drive in the system, I get the message about activation. The activation attempt failed.  With a little research I learned that the OEM of XP version on my old drive was not transferable to another system. Always eager to keep my settings, software and data, I tried to use the XP CD provided with the renewed system to "fix" / "upgrade"the operating system on the old drive.» I thought that I will be prompted for the product key and it could use that matched with the refurbished COA label, as the CD package has loaded. I was invited for the key, but when I used the renewed COA key I received a message "invalid product key".

  This make sense or is something else wrong?

  I just reinstalled windows xp pro on my wifes pc. installation went through normal operations, etc., complete, rebooted and then asked wether I want to validate this copy of windows? I do and you click Yes. the screen is now sitting with the office, display, no high or low bars and no activity on the pointer (eggtimer!) or the light of the hard drive.
