Note : If you have installed other applications, you can reinstall or reactivate if you have installed the stand-alone application using the serial number again.

    I was instructed to upgrade most of the applications to cc2014 editions.

    Most have been successful, even if for some reason any creative cloud says I have no installed all now applications, however, the main problem I have is that lightroom does not install, I'm only using Adobe Creative cloud as an Installer (no third party as he said).

    I fixed this problem, if it can help someone in the future I used this:

    Microsoft FixIt utility in http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/en-us to remove the remaining entries for Photoshop Lightroom.

    Checked in programs and features (from the control panel) it there was nothing Lightroom related left, make sure that you search under A Adobe and L for Lightroom.

    Reinstall the creative cloud, I hope it will work for you.

    Today, I just downloaded the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo off Steam, when I entered the game it works up until I have to, what we call the safe room, which takes the player to the first part of the campaign to another. He would charge, then the screen would turn black and the game would freeze and then give me the error Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime "Runtime closed in an unusual way." I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable-x 86 9.0.21022, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, and my OS is Windows Vista.

    Your best bet is to uninstall all Visual C++ runtime libraries, and then reinstall the latest from download.microsoft.com.

    This type of error is usually related to damaged C++ components installed.

    Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime

    1. Search for and then remove the existing installation of Visual C++. To do this, follow these steps:

    Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.

    one. In Windows Vista

    In Control Panel, open the programs and features item. To do this, click Start , type appwiz.cpl in the Start Search box and press ENTER.

A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. This article describes how to solve problems in Windows Vista or Windows 7 by performing a clean boot.

    Steps to put your computer in a clean boot:

    1. click on Start
    2. type msconfig in the Search box and press ENTER.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    1. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    2. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.
    3. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.
    4. click on OK.
    5. When you are prompted, click restart.
    6. after starting the computer, check to see if you still get the same error.

    NOTE: TURN on YOUR COMPUTER to a NORMAL STARTUP AFTER TRYING THE STEPS above.
