Exit_opc running on PG

Hello

IM ICM6.0 CVP3.0 running

We have a bit of a time constraint for the system offline. If I execute the command exit_opc how much time will it take the system to relearn the config.

Thank you

Not sure of the context around this question if answer a bit more generic than usual...

When you do an exit_opc, opc and the closed Pim and respawn. OPC must then establish the tubing, etc. and download the config of PG of the calling router. After you download the config Pim will attempt to make active and establish its connection. Depending on the configuration that need to be downloaded onto the PG from the device and how quickly it is able to establish a connection - which would give you more than ever.

Increased from day to day if you need to reset the PW and download the configuration of the control unit - exit_opc will provide the fastest way to make this happen. In practical experience in most of the cases, it is also less than 60 seconds. This is not a guarantee and may not be the best option according to the purpose, but it could be useful!

  • Freezes and restarts on 2015 5K running El Capitan iMac and am ready to freak me out

    Hi guys,.

If I posted my check and reports being panic, could someone tell me what caused random freezes and restarts on my iMac 5 K - ish, El Capitan running? I am a designer/Retoucher and I am in the middle of a big job, of course.

He went on and off for a few months. I have cleared my startup disk and played fresh OS installs (didn't even use Migration Assistant just to be safe), three times. I installed apps one at a time try to refine what is the cause but could not.

At first I thought it was my mouse Logitech G502 because when I went to an old mouse for a few weeks the problem has disappeared. But yesterday, listening to iTunes via Airplay and working in InDesign, the system froze again.

I wonder if she might be SoftRAID(4) and/or my two RAIDs of 4 external ThunderBay?

    Thanks in advance!

  • 10 do iPad iOS 2 Air running slow

After the upgrade to iOS 10, I noticed my iPad 2 Air starts to run slowly. I mean by "slowly" as slow as my old iPad Mini 2 ran on iOS 9. It is a huge problem, and I'd rather not buy a new iPad. Any ideas?

    Hi MBCollector672,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. Sorry to hear you're having this problem with your iPad 2 Air. I'm kinda not clear about the exact nature of the slowness you describe (what specific aspects are slow, what is compatible or intermittent, etc.), but if it's pretty repetitive, you can try to stop all currently open applications, restart your iPad, then test for the slow pace. You can find the following articles useful:

You can also see if applications consume an amount unusual or unexpected autonomy. Applications that do are often "stuck" in the background, consuming the CPU power (and thus battery), which can lead to slow overall system. This article may also be useful:

  • Since the upgrade to Sierra - my CPU runs hot

Recently, I used the app store to upgrade my MacBook Pro for OSX Sierra.

From this point forward - my laptop is very hot and fans constantly run like a Jet engine.

I see this in the activity monitor:

I put all my contacts to synchronize hourly, and nothing has changed before the upgrade and after.

How can I fix it? My life of the battery is to be purged, permanently.

    Any help appreciated.

  • MacBook Pro 15 "retina run hot.

    Hello

I bought my macbook pro ' retina of 15-inch (model 2015) in July and I had to install windows I did of the hollow windows, but when I'm coding stuff like C++ it turns really hot and the fans will too, even when I am just watching youtube or netflix on windows. " On macOS, it only runs warm while playing games (which is obvious no?) I hope someone can answer to my problem!

    Thank you already!

    What temperature?

Install a temperature/fanspeed control application.  Maybe you use resources intensive applications but you can still be found within the limits of acceptable temperature.

  • iMac 27 "mid-2011 - Intermittent problem with CPU fan running at full speed and sleep mode.

    Hello!

My iMac 27 "has an intermittent problem with the CPU fan runs at full speed. Sometimes it happens at the time when I start it, sometimes only in my session, and sometimes only after a certain time. So does seem to be a problem of "heating".

Second issue is with the mode 'sleep'. It may occur also at any time, at the start of the iMac, session, or after a certain time. But once he starts to go in mode 'sleep', when I wake up, it goes right back in mode after a few seconds and that it will continue indefinitely until I restart the computer.

    What could be?

New on Mac w/purchase of Pro. You want to run Windows applications. 8 against 10 using virtualization?

The two big names of virtualization are Parallels and VMware. They have a sort of leap-frogging each other in terms of features. Parallels has a fairly seamless integration between Mac and Windows.

Your Mac is also already comes with Boot Camp, which lets you install Windows on a separate partition.

  • "Your system is running out of Application memory"

    Hello

Since last week I have been having a problem where my computer screen appears with a reading of the question 'your system has sold out of the memory of the application.' This happens around every 20-30 minutes to use my computer, where the issue is resolved by restarting my computer. However, this message appears when I have 1 or 2 applications open (including the permanent Finder application). At my computer without a doubt a lot of memory left and I installed only 5 additional applications: League of Legends, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. I used OS X El Capitan for the first half of the week and macOS Sierra for the second half, but the upgrade did not solve my problem.

    I run:

MacBook Air (13 inch, mid 2013)

1.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor

    DDR3 4 GB 1600 MHz memory

    Start drive Macintosh HD

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

Your system is running out of RAM, not disk space. 4 GB is the absolute minimum of RAM. Try to remove all unnecessary startup items (Preferences > users and groups > you > login items) with the key less (not simply uncheck the boxes - which hide just the app but it still works).

You can also run activity monitor (Applications > utilities) to see what is using the memory.

  • Activity monitor close unexpectedly when running in the background on the left

Recently upgraded to Mac OS Sierra and Activity Monitor to close unexpectedly when running back plan left (do not smoke and open the activity monitor window) to a blank desktop when you use an application in another office. For most browsing on the web using Safari on another desktop computer when Activity Monitor quit unexpectedly.

Activity monitor also using a lot of energy since the upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Model: MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015)

OS: macOS Sierra: 10.12 (installed via the upgrade, own installed after this problem).

Do not forget that you are using the activity monitor version which was installed when you upgraded to Sierra. Activity monitor located in the your Mac utilities folder.

If you have moved a previous version to a different location, it will not work.

If you are using the correct version, post crash report. Error reports lies in the application of the Console under System reports or reports from usersand end in the suffix .crash. If you choose to do so, omit or hide any information that you consider personal.

  • What App would you recommend to run virtual machines on an Imac?

I would try to have virtual machines running on my IMac, but I'm having a hard time finding any material on this topic from apple.

Ideally, I would like to my main x os to start and then simply turn a small virtual machines or containers from OSX.

Any recommendations? or articles about the support of Apple for such a thing?

    There are three choices:

    Parallels Desktop for Mac

    VM fusion

    VirtualBox

The first two are commercial products. The third is a free, open source. Three Parallels is the best.

  • Speed display for runs Watch OS3

    Hello

To my despair, I can't display the speed for my short... it will only allow pace!

I know most avid runners say pace is the metric to use, but I've been running on speed for years, I love it and that's what I want to see...

My Garmin allows this option without any problems. And I don't see how I can use this Apple Watch as my single unit without this feature...

Is there a planned fix? honestly, be able to customize things a bit...

    Thank you

    Hi William

Speed is not currently available as a measure within the app to drive integrated for Indoor workouts or Outdoor running.

I'm afraid that no one here can tell you about what of Apple's unannounced plans (there is a community of support based on the user).

  • 2 Apple Watch water lock on when running

Question: Is the 'blocking of water,"the only option"lock"now in workouts on Apple Watch 2?

When I run and use that as the '' restructuring '' selected, I want to "lock" my watch, so if I hit it, it not disturbed.  With the new Apple Watch 2, option 'lock' is now the 'blocking of the water", so when I unlock it, it makes the sound as to empty all the water. Where as with Apple Watch 1, you have the normal locking option.

    Thank you!

The water lock icon is certainly what is shown during a training run in the open air, place the padlock icon that is indicated by Apple in the supporting documentation for the application of the training session:

    Hello

    I have a MBP mid-2012 13 inch with 16 GB. of ram and a 500 GB. SSD

I had it set up with boot camp and dualboot El Capitan and MS-Windows-10

Everything is working, all the features and functions in the two operating systems.

I was very pleased with this MBP.

Recently, I put a new battery in it and upgraded to Mac OS Sierra.

Since then the MBP runs hot.

    It heats up very quickly.

Is this a common problem with macOS Sierra?

Or do you think that the NEW battery maybe causing the MBP get HOT?

I use an adapter to power 85 watts OEM.

The battery seems to work fine.
