  I'm taking a course online through University of Boston. They provide a table online system called Vista. When I logged in to see if everything is compatible, they have a browser select feature that seeks to ensure that the different features are enabled or compatible. He pointed out that it does not recognize the version of Firefox that I use (9.0.1) and you can find their list of browsers supported by Firefox 3.6. How would I be able to get this version?

• SQL type unrecognized: 'unsigned int' when I expand a table in Dreamweaver

  Dreamweaver warning message - "unrecognized sql type: 'int unsigned.
  
  This was happening in Dreamweaver MX and now in CS3. Pages using these tables are not to throw errors when I test them, but whenever I have to expand a table in Dreamweaver, I get these warning messages. Often, I get the same message several times and have to click OK every time before I can move forward. I had earlier OK the warning three times for a table that has a field of type integer and the two fields in total.

  I can't speak for everyone, but I have looked into the using integers as primary keys DW start hiccupping on them.

• 1.5.4 - slow to expand the tables for oracle 9 connection

  I have tried version 1.5.4 and have found that in developing the node tables in the Connections tab is extremely slow (about 3 min) for my oracle 9.2.0.6 connections.
  
  As with this [this bug: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=867600 & tstart = 0] it's ok on a 10.2.0.3 connection.
  
  Expand the tables for the same connection in 1.5.3 is good too. I'm concerned that this latest version of the sql dev was not particularly well tested with oracle 9 abit.
  
  Oracle 9 is still a supported with sql developer version?

  This issue is dealt with the last patch, ' check for update ' should take care of everything.

• expand the table "static" or line

  I have a form in a format "table" with columns in subforms. One of the columns contains text fields that are set to develop to adapt because they are filled with text. Other subforms have simple text but with a color background. I want these to do, is extend according to the column of text expanding field, so the 'row' seems OK in all of the page. I also want the color backgrounds to expand.

  Not sure if this is possible (or if I make sense). Thanks for any help.

  If you use the Table object, each cell would expand to match the row height automatically.

  If you are usign subforms, can you apply the color for filling of subform and not filling of individual objects?

  Otherwise, you will need a script to the output of each field event, making the height of the other fields in the subform the same height as the largest field. I thought I had a script, but can't find it at the moment.

• Partitioning of a huge table online

  I have a table of size approximately 700 GB (it has pictures in there, that's why) that is not partitioned (!)

  I need to create partitions to do this for each year. It's about 15 partitions.

  I read the instructions that apply to partitions (by creating a temporary partitioned table and transfer data to it using the dmbs_redefinition package).

  My question is: can I save time if I make a redefinition using logic "a partition at a time" or do I have to apply the redefinition create all partitions at the same time?

  It is 700 GB and I'm afraid it will take some time and do not want to risk big downtime (the table is updated frequently).

  To answer your question, dbms_redefinition will all the table and the LOB segment to the new silo structure. There is no interruption of service, set apart from the DDL locks that (with luck) your users will not notice. You can suspend the database for a few seconds to ensure that the DDL locks cross.

  The question you didn't ask, is "why should I partition the table? Partitioning by date range can be vauable for purposes of maintenance, if use you only local indexes. It can also be useful for the partitioning of pruning, if you don't get a table. I don't think that either these reasons if it is valid for you: only 15 partitions won't be a lot of benefits to pruning, and if maintenance operations are only once a year, it will be not significant for that, either.

  So why would you do that? The table size is not a reason. I found that if the partitioning is made without a strategy defined to meet a specific objective, the results can be disastrous.

• Remove the same instance of two separate tables online

  Hi all

  I have two tables that each repeatable lines. Both tables must display almost the same information in each case of the line (I managed to code to link the values in specific cases of the lines). However, I added a button in the repeatable row, which allows the user to remove from the current instance of the line, so will they look back and realize that they do not need a line, they can take directly from the table. However, I can't seem to get the deletion affects the same instance of row of the second table. Is it possible to do this? I'm not terribly familiar with the instance Manager.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just can't understand how to identify a specific instance of the repeatable row in table 2.

  Removing instances in the event of an object that is inside the instance, you must ensure that you remove this particular instance at the end of the event.

  For example:

  If you delete the instance that the button is on the inside before finishing the entire event, the program will not recognize what event is to finish because you have removed it from the object that is triggered...

  You try here at the end of the code that no longer exists...

  I suggest that you still need to delete the instance (this) object at the end of any event to make sure to complete all your actions before deleting the object.

  I have a graph on the left I want to remain static and a repeating table next to him. I tried several methods to keep it in place, but if the table extends beyond a certain point it drage graphics with it. Is it possible to lock this graph aside in place?

  Think I solved the problem. Re-slices it to stay locked in place. He lined up at the top. Additional table and it remained... appreciate the help.

  I can make my table grow in rows or in columns, but not both, when I add a line, it will not add the column that I just added and the colum will not include the line that I just added.

  We know what script I need for the addInstance know whan I added a new row or column.

  I had a look, and here's what I came with. Whenever you add a row or column, you are chnaging the expression of som that allows to add the next row or column. I added a loop around each call to add the columns/rows as needed.

  My ESX 4.1 server has run out of disk space.

  Its a R610 from Dell with a matrix RAID 5.

  I thought adding another 2 drives and expand the table. Is it possible to do this without losing all the data on the disk? or you can expand the table in Dell management and ESX recognize the size increase?

• Drag the cells numbered to increase automatically multi-page tables

  This is my problem: I have a table in Pages 5.6.1. that spans multiple pages. If I numbering in the first column, I want to have it extend over the entire table in ascending order. I can do this by selecting the first 2 numbered cells and dragging that little yellow ball at the bottom of the second cell to the bottom. However, it does not cover several pages. Why and how can I solve this?

  I can't get pages 5.6.1 right now so I guess it's just another (too) bug or failures of the user interface.

  Just work your way around him in one of the many ways.

  Temporarily, expand the table across the page, so some of your pop series on the next page and then grab two cells and drag them.

  or a pair and paste them.

  or reduce the table, and then expand it again.

  I'm sure you can perhaps think a little more.
